Happy hour every day.
Extremely busy, very load, setting tight. Wait was long for dinner plates. Food good and well platted. On the the expensive side for drinks, size and presentation.
Visited with friends. Seated right away and hostess was flexible as to where we sat. Server delivered waters quickly and took drink order. Parking was fine, but lots going on in the area with events and construction. Food was excellent. Burgers, salads, calamari, drinks, on and on. Wine selection was very good. Cocktails are well made and not light on the alcohol. Beautiful afternoon outside on the patio.
We will return!
I keep thinking that I will really like Augustin Kitchen but after four tries over the past few years it continues to be just so so.
Always a pleasure to have dinner at Agustin’s Kitchen when in Tucson. Entrees are fresh and prepared with a Southwestern taste that is interesting without calling attention to itself. Wines are well matched to the menu. We will definitely dine there again.
Dinner was far better than expected! The food was creative and nicely presented. We only ordered one main course, and the kitchen anticipated that we would want the main split between two dishes. The wait staff was attentive and timely.
NY Eve dining didn't disappoint. Mushroom appetizer was as good as it gets. Main courses of salmon and lobster were very tasty and filling. Bread costs but was delicious.
Our server Matt was wonderful.
A delightful dining experience.
We love this restaurant. Even when very busy, the food is delicious and the service is good.
New Year’s Eve meal. Live music was lovely and wait staff were excellent. We had a party of 9. 1/2 of the meals were outstanding and half so-so. Desserts and appetizers were excellent. Overall a great, festive time had by all.
Solid - ambiance is wonderful as it adjoins an open market with a covered coffee shop, bakery, salon/spa, and other restaurants. The restaurant itself has wonderful high ceilings, clean design/decor. We went for lunch. Food- French fries were amazing!!! The local pork sausage that you can add on was also outstanding. Our other dishes were otherwise average- heavy in the grease department. Service- we had 3 different interactions... 1 apathetic, 1 professional but otherwise minimal personality, and 1 professional with personality. We May consider trying at a different time to see the dinner menu...
Food and wine very good. However, appetizers and entrees were slow in coming out. Also, ambiance for an upscale place could be improved. Better tables with tablecloths, better chairs and lighting would make a big difference.
Food was delicious. The service was a little off, wait staff definitely distracted - but it was a busy night.
I wish is weren't so loud. We prefer to sit outside because the noise level is more tolerable, but it was just too chilly.
Overall, the lunch menu was much more corporate than the standard that brunch and dinner has set in the past. The food was slightly bland, lukewarm instead of hot, but still tasty. I take some issue paying $15 for a sandwich, but it’s not the worst thing. Service was great! Our waiter was polite and attentive, and as always, the place looked wonderful, but be careful where you sit, as the wicker chairs on the left side of the restaurant are a little uncomfortable. Definitely a great restaurant, but lunch left a little to be desired.
Disappointing menu, cold and marginal food.
Birthday celebration, had a nice time.
Sadly kitchen wasn’t on their game today. Eggs Benedict Brunch came out cold. Requested to be heated up and still back warm.
Don’t think the kitchen respected our server’s request.
Two of us ordered the pork which had a nice flavor but neither of us liked the side of yucca. It was topped with something like uncooked noodles-or maybe that was the yucca? We did ask for a description before we ordered but couldn’t figure out what was what. Neither the yucca or the salad didn’t have much flavor.
Had to wait 2 or 3 minutes at the host station before our presence was acknowledged. Service was adequate. Food was inconsistent: the cioppino was excellent, but the chef’s board (out-of-the-can smoked almonds) and risotto were disappointing. We expected more for the price and reputation.
First time here. All the raves we've heard are true. It was birthday lunch. It was perfect. Food, service, ambiance - all you could ask for. We will be back!
The Penn Cove mussels are always excellent... order them with bread to soak up the broth. The steak frites were chewy this time; not their best.
Very loud inside the dinning area. Small portions with big prices. Service was good.
Gorgeous restaurant in an amazing vibrant plaza! Delicious and creative menu with impeccable service. Yum!
Would definitely recommend. Fantastic staff, clean environment, food was great, and overall an excellent experience.
The food is always good. The last several visits the service has really went down hill. The server did not know the time when dinner service started. The food took a REALLY long time for us being the only table in the restaurant. The server was not very interested in stoping back to check on the table.
Food was good. Except the menu was limited to only happy hour menu only ?
What is that ? More of a menu selection would of been a little nicer!
Fair traditional variety of dishes but flavors were just average. Roast beef was still pleasantly rare at 5:30. Oysters were nothing special (but I'm from oyster country). Slow to refill buffet items required waiting or multiple trips.
My preference is always for table service, not buffet, so I would not do it again. I could have had the same food at San Ignacio in Green Valley (yes I know it's Green Valley) for half the price so it was not especially good value.
II would recommend the restaurant to a friend but not for Thanksgiving.
Being a Thanksgiving buffet, there were parts that looked ragged (whipped cream had run out on the dessert table), chocolate ganache was a bowl of crumbs, oysters were gone when we first got there. That said, the turkey was absolutely the best ever and the stuffing was other worldly. Wish I had a mean of leftovers of that! We had to keep searching for our waitress who seemed overwhelmed . . . So it was a bit of a mixed bag. Not sure for the money I'd return for another Thanksgiving, but the turkey and stuffing was divine.
Very strange arrangement of the buffet items. Mashed potatoes next to the french toast and the turkey gravy and au jus away from the turkey and prime rib.
Way over priced as well for the quality of the food.
We were there for the Thanksgiving buffet and it was busy. The turkey and prime rib were delicious and there was a nice variety of side dishes. Service (explaining how things worked, removal of plates, etc.) was a slow, this has never happened during previous visits. Our big disappointment was dessert. They were small pies with mediocre crusts and the good ones disappeared right away. With a tip, and before beverages it was $90 per person.
Second annual visit. Enjoyed the food and service. We prefer being served rather than a buffet. Happy Thanksgiving! We will be back if not a buffet.
One of the most delightful dining experiences we have had in Tucson in many years. Samuel is an excellent waiter, and the food was delicious and very nicely presented. WE WILL BE BACK!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The good was okay, kind of disappointed. The service was terrible. We were never really checked on or helped while there. Our glasses of water were empty for majority of our meal. I felt we were treated poorly due to our age and us being much younger than other customers.
We went for the first time to their thanksgiving brunch. We thought the turkey was very dry and the variety on the buffet lacking. There were no plain rolls which was a real miss for us. But looking over their regular menu, we probably we try this place again at another time.
Incredibly inexperienced staff with nice demeanor and management lacking empathy ... will follow up in person as so disappointed with much potential
BEST BLT EVER!!! I would go back again and again for this. It was delicious - full of crisp, smoked bacon and fresh tomatoes and Barrio bread. What's not to love?! And the garlic fries with it were awesome as well.
We were greeted warmly and our table was ready for us in the back corner booth, so it was quiet and we could talk and catch up.
Service was impeccable - courteous and friendly without being intrusive.
My last experience here several years ago was not so great, so was hesitant about meeting my friend here this time, but it was perfect, and I will be back!
Good food and a good menu. One of the best bloody marys in all of tucson.
however, unless you get one of two waiters, the service is horrible
We loved the delicious and fresh brunch. We'll be back
The service was terrible. One person got his food about 15 minutes before anyone else did. The food orders were mixed up- wrong food was brought to our table.
We had a reservation for more people than came and the waiter & staff were very accommodating and understanding. The only place in Tucson that I found would take a reservation for brunch on a Saturday. It was a special occasion and we were all treated as special as the occasion. Definitely recommend in all respects! Thank you!
The menu is limited and overpriced. The ambiance is nice but the food was underwhelming for the price.
