We were in Tucson for a couple of weeks and found the Agustin Kitchen to be a gem. Our seating for a lunch/brunch was outside by request. It was pleasant, quiet, and the food was outstanding - perfectly prepared. Highly recommended.

2 of us ordered the skillet plate. The sauce was tasteless, the brussel sprouts and oyster mushrooms were under cooked.
1 ordered the corn beef hash and said it was fatty, the potatoes were lukewarm but the poached eggs were good.
We had to go inside to get salt and pepper--much needed on all the dishes. Toast was served without butter.
Service was friendly and basically good. Ambience was great.

Excellent food as always. Service was a little slow but it was a busy night. Dined outdoors & it was lovely. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this gem.

Lovely spot with delicious food. We sat at the bar (you can actually reserve either that or table seating). As this is our first visit to Tucson, took the bar hoping to enjoy conversation with fellow patrons. But it is not a good bar for eating and the poor bartend/ waitress was way overworked. Pork Achioli, Caesar salad and the barrio bread with farmer’s pesto spread were all delicious. Pricey, but I would go again.

The best brunch and a superb environment. It is always a treat to sample the menu and find a new favorite!
The service for our table of six was exceptional with frequent check ins and personal interaction that made the experience more special.
I will return again for brunch again and again.

Just wasn’t super tasty. Also hard to believe they charged for bread when eating cioppino.

Had friends in town from San Diego, went to brunch before the rodeo. Although I do highly recommend the fried chicken and pancakes, my friends had the eggs Benedict which both orders were cold when they brought them to the table. Presentation on all four meals were good, but the eggs should have been hot when served.

The food is always good and the service, as well. To me, the only 'knock' on this place is the poor acoustics, and clanging noise from the open kitchen.

I love Agustin Kitchen for a Great Brunch. If the weather cooperates it is most fun to request the outside eating area. The court yard is very vibrant and great for people watching. Can't go wrong with this restaurant.

We are in Tucson for gem shows for 18 days so we have to go out to eat every nights. In all 18 dinners we would say this is the least valuable restaurant we visited regardless of price. Food was not good and service was mediocre. I would not recommend this place since there are lots of good selection here in town.

This was for Valentine's Day. We made reservations, but were never told that the only dining option was an overpriced prix fixe menu. The soup, salad, meat and dessert were $75 + tax / tip, with matching wine pours for the meal at $25 + tax / tip. A 20% tip was mandatory, although the service was excellent. We've eaten there before and we'd recommend it, but not on Valentine's Day. Similar food on other days would have probably been more in the $50 range (plus tax, drink & tip).

We went for Valentine's day and there was a 4-course menu with wine pairing. The food was good but the portions were huge. Also, the wine pairings were just ok, the server would tell us about the wine-like, 'this is an oaky chardonnay to go with your soup.' Also, they brought us full wine pours instead of tasting pour. That's why it was such a good value, but I had to box most of my entree and dessert home. I will definitely go back for the regular menu.

Food was absolutely incredible. I ordered the steak and my date ordered the salmon. We both loved our dishes and the chefs board was a delicious starter! Service was good - the only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star was we were expecting more from the service with such an outstanding meal and high price point. Great overall experience and would definitely go again!

Our special occasion was overshadowed by an inhospitable, server enforcing inconsistent policies. From start to finish it was a truly disappointing experience. We chose Augustin for ambience and food. The unfortunate service highlighted the overpriced, limited menu. It was difficult to discern what were server errors and what were kitchen errors but our experience suffered. The server had no remedy to the issues we brought to her attention. I spoke to the manager in hopes that another party that takes as much care as we did to coordinate and plan a Birthday luncheon that included formal invitations, table decor and custom dessert, (that was charged a cake fee and refused to serve, taken home untouched), will not send another group of guests home with no positive memories of our time together. Not so much as a happy birthday was sung. We gave the server opportunity to correct mistakes, we gave the manager opportunity to step in. I hope we are contacted or a truly beautiful place to celebrate will become nothing but a negative recommendation in a sea of options.

The waitress was outstanding and attentive without being annoying. She was very helpful in making suggestions and even had the kitchen make the frites without garlic for me and they were excellent twice cooked. I had the chicken pesto sandwich with gluten free bread and it was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The only problem I had was that they did not have Patron tequila and the one suggested tasted somewhat medicinal. The waitress did offer to change it out to her benefit but we were halfway through the drinks and declined. Overall I would definitely go back and would recommend the restaurant to friends.

Fish special, halibut was over cooked twice. The small plate was very good, a sliced grilled sirloin. Oyster appetizers were very inconsistent in appearance and taste , and at 5$ a pop, quite expensive. Could not recommend-

In vergelijk met vorige jaren is de kwaliteit drastisch veranderd. Mijn steak bijvoorbeeld was taai en niet door te snijden, m.a.w. het “slechtste” stuk vlees ooit gegeten! Je zou hierdoor bijna vegetarisch worden....
Er klopte deze avond niet veel, het personeel liep doelloos rond en waarschijnlijk in de keuken begrepen men er ook niets van.
Twee mensen naast ons vertrokken al 10minuten na ontvangst hoofdgerecht, de borden waren nog vol. Helaas was dit ook bij ons het geval!

Recommended by a friend, this restaurant did not disappoint. Original takes on classic dishes with the added bonus of Southwest flavors. The dessert sampler is to die for and our waiter was terrific.
