Food was delicious but not hot. All 4 of us commented the food was barely warm. Seems like it was sitting around a while before being served. Sending it back probably would have resulted on overcooked food, so we didn't.

We were seated on time, but with three of the four of us using canes, it should have been obvious that the host should have taken that into consideration in thinking about where to seat us. The menu was interesting but somewhat limited. The service up to and including getting drinks, orders, and food delivery was fine. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. From then on the service deteriorated, probably because of several large parties being seated. A staff person cleared half of our plates but left the other two to languish on the table. We flagged down someone finally to see to the rest of the plates, and to order desserts. When the desserts arrived, they came with no utensils. We had to flag down someone to ask for appropriate utensils. Finally, two of us split the bill. When we received the checks, the suggested percentage for tips was based on the full total rather than on just the half. A $45 tip for a $125 tab isn't 20% but 45%. We've been to this restaurant a number of times and have been generally pleased with it. I hope our experience yesterday was an aberration.

The hostesses were welcoming, Eddie, the bartender was great introducing me to a new red wine. From then on it was not great except for the manager who comped our dinner even tho we did eat it. It started when the waiter introduced himself, Ben, and asked if we wanted drinks. We told him Eddie would know what we had. I believe he was insulted that we got his name wrong and from there on had an attitude. I asked what the soup was but there wasn’t any because the chef got in late. I ordered the soft shell crab bite and said I’d have that as an appetizer and then the mussels with pomme fritte. My husband had pasta carbonara. Everything came out together and they did take back the two entrees. When they came out again, everything was cold and our waiter didn’t reappear till we were nearly done.

Food was good, not great. Had to wait a good while in clean plates. Coconut cakes was coconut toast; pre cutting this ruined the cake. Pecan pie was nearly flavorless. Stuffing was insanely dry. Brussel sprouts were delicious, Mac and cheese was also really good. Had higher expectations but was all in all disappointed.

It’s a beautiful space. Servers and staff very accommodating. Turkeys were perfectly roasted. Salads excellent. Mashed potato delicious, likewise broccoli dish. I understand Thanksgiving is a regional thing, but was disappointed in the sides. Sweet potato poutine? No. Way too much Brussels sprouts. Braised cabbage awful. Stuffing awful. No cranberries? Major omission. $75 was a lot for the buffet menu, but given the holiday, fair enough. Resented that 20% tip was already added, even though we would have tipped 20% or more.

We have eaten at Augistin Kitchen many times, and have grown to love its ambience. It is a really classy place with great food. We were excited about Thanksgiving dinner there but were a bit disappointed. The food was good and very plentiful - but the buffet was a mess. It was just awful - huge globs of food and gravy all over the buffet table, desserts were all crumbled and lying on top of one another. It was not an appetizing sight at all. The wine was very good, the service (as always) was exceptional. But if I ever go back for a special buffet again at this location, I am going to go EARLY in the day, before hordes of people stampede all over it. Disappointing for $75. I would still recommend Augustin to a friend because I KNOW that they can do better. Someone (manager, owner) was not keeping an eye on things yesterday.

This was extremely expensive for a buffet. An automatic 20% tip was put on the bill while we served ourselves and a server only brought us drinks and took plates. The 20% auto tip should be disclosed with the amount per person for the meal. I originally saw $65 per person on the booking site then it was raised to $75 per person when the meal was confirmed. Informing me of a 20% auto tip added to the $75 per person for a buffet would have been good to know at the confirmation.

The hostess was very accommodating in adding an extra seat to our table at their Thanksgiving Brunch, despite having little forewarning. The atmosphere was amenable to conversation, unlike the mega-brunches hosted by the area resorts at holiday times. Likewise, the food selections were limited in number, making the experience more comfortable for the indecisive. While almost certainly within the safe range, some of the items would have benefited from being served at a warmer temperature. Servers could have been more attentive to checking for beverage needs, but were quite prompt in picking up used plates. Overall a positive experience that I would not hesitate to repeat in the future.

In the past, we sat on the patio. The noise level inside convinced us to always choose the patio. Very nice. The food was excellent, but the service was slow. And this was a Tuesday night with a fair number of empty tables. We’ll continue to go there for the excellent food, but only when it’s nice to sit outside.

The food was excellent. Dining on the patio was very enjoyable. There was a large noisy party on the patio that would have made dining inside intolerable. The food was absolutely delicious, right down to the Barrio Bakery bread. Michael, my waiter, was very helpful, informative, humorous, and at my table the instant I needed service. Would 10/10 reccomend Agustin. I will be back.

After being seated we did not see wait staff for 15 minutes. Felt like we were in a no zone that was not being waited on. The manager was all over the restaurant but never checked in with us about service. After I requested a waiter to wait on our table the service never met our expectations of a restaurant of the caliber.

My wife and I had a pleasant evening - date night - at Agustin Kitchen. It was quiet and the service was excellent so we had plenty of time to talk and relax. I had the sea bass - perfectly cooked and paired with artichokes, tomatoes, prosciutto and foamy mashed potato. I order fish a lot when out and this was among the best I've eaten anywhere. My wife decided to try the spaghetti carbonara. It was a little more cheesy than expected but very good too. The salads were huge - also crisp and tasty - with very light dressing. Some people might want it drenched in dressing, but then the salad itself is no longer the focus. So, perfect for my wife and I. All in all, a very good evening ... and of course, we'll be back.

My second visit for dinner and did not disappoint. Had company in town and they loved the food and the whole vibe. Such a great spot and the surrounding courtyard is adorable. I’ve also been twice for lunch and it’s delish!

The choices are very different, I ordered the lions mane and it was supposed to be a pasta dish but was served with lentils? The calamari salad was good - no dressing Spaghetti was just mediocre Drinks were great atmosphere was lovely

Augustin is ideal for mature folks who want to be in the middle of a special activity in relative comfort. We went for the All Souls Procession, taking guests from London. They loved it. The noise level is pretty horrendous, but we were fortunate to have a table for 8 away from the bar. The food is not as special as it should be for Mercado.

Our server was EXCELLENT - Ben rocks. He really was on the ball. Even when the food arrived poorly prepared he jumped on it. The food was expensive for quantity and the fish in both dishes was not fresh tasting nor presented well. We would not return.

Augustine’s has a lot of things going for it, but they can’t quite put it all together. On the plus side, the restaurant is attractive, the menu is diverse, and the setting in the Mercado is charming. Ok. The Caesar salad is just a bunch of lettuce. No shaved Parmesan. No croutons. No anchovies. Just some bread crumbs sprinkled on. They claim to have gluten free buns for sandwiches and burgers…but, nope. They are always “all out. The fish and chips were fine and the tartar sauce was very tasty.

The food is dependably good and always creative. Great raw oysters and interesting menu items. First time we had Sunday Brunch. Fun menu...I had calamari over salad, excellent. Friend had BLT toast...also great. Great service, sat outside. Enjoyable!

Changed menu doesn’t provide much in way of brunch or other items , i e, hamburger which was offered previously. We’ve been coming to this restaurant since they opened but will not until menu is changed for Sunday brunch. Unfortunate

Had the mussels and frites. Mussels were in a thick tomato purée. Too acidic. Very little broth. Mussels very small. Several not fully cooked. Frites were mostly crispy and not too greasy.

Shout out to the waitress who stopped me as I was leaving with my son on Sunday to return my cell phone which I had left on the table. Food, as always, excellent (oysters always a bit iffy in Tucson--I'm looking at you Loewes Ventana--and they were excellent at Agustin). But such superb service demands a public thank you.
