Excellent food and service
Servers are exceptionally friendly and kind. Very pleasant restaurant. Will certainly return.
Good food, good service. Very noisy but overall good. The calamari was delicious and my sister and I split it for our main course along with a small salad. (We're not big eaters!)
We really appreciated that our server was wearing a mask. The food was up to it's usual, excellent standard.
Our server, Chris, was fantastic - attentive, cheerful and efficient.
The food was excellent. We both had Cesar Salads and the cheesecake.
We were celebrating my friend's birthday. She had never eaten there before and she was delighted by the whole experience.
Food was excellent. Service as sporadic.
Will come back for sure... but it annoys me that a restaurant of this caliber
charges for bread. Add $1 to the entrees' or whatever, but make the bread (which we ordered) a standard it em for the evening table service.
I love this place but I think it’s time they update their menu! No side options for those of us who don’t want to eat a big lunch. I wanted soup instead of fries with my sandwich…I got it but it sure wasn’t worth an additional $5!
The service and food was outstanding. AK steak and salmon are our favorite dishes. And the house margaritas are both unique and delicious!
What a treat to stumble across this hidden gem. Food was fantastic and the ambience is vibe are just as good! Highly recommend when in downtown Tucson
Our server was great but took a long time to get our food unfortunately. Food was delicious
Great food and exceptional service!
We came to celebrate a birthday and Taya was phenomenal! She provided quality service, warmly welcomed us to Tucson, and even gave us suggestions on what to do/see during our visit. The food and drinks were amazing—everything from the wine to the appetizers, entrees, and dessert were beyond amazing. We will definitely be back!
Nice ambiance, good food.
It was great the food comes out very slow. So be patient
Lovely evening on the patio in the courtyard with the misters going. Warm welcome/greeting by hostess. They were flexible on timing so we had a drink inside at the bar to start. Steak Frites were great, but the change in the salmon preparation was not to my liking ... too much tzatziki sauce completely overpowered the salmon. The former version was better! Calamari appetizer was excellent. Service was friendly. Our waitress was clearly new -- not at all surprising these days! But again, she aimed to please and runners/other support staff were awesome. Casual, friendly evening! We'll keep going back!
I don't do a lot of reviews, but I had been looking forward to eating at Augustin. I took a date and from the service to the food it was a bad experience. I should have known the quality would be poor when a seafood place uses FARMED salmon. The steak we got was such a sad little tough piece of meet and the pasta was flavorless. Do not waste your money here.
Sat outside in their lovely courtyard. Food was great--perfectly cooked steaks, delicious caprese appetizer and melt in your mouth chocolate (birthday) cake. Definitely eat here!
The food produced was exceptional. The service was slow but I understand because staffing is hard, due to so many people wanting to not work and sit on the sidelines and draw free money. I talked to the manager and told him the food was excellent and praised our waiter for doing the best he could do under the circumstances. We will of course be going back.
Great service and the food was delicious. Nice outside area as well.
Terrific ambiance and room. Great for entertaining out-of-town guests or business dinners/lunches. Certainly demonstrates Tucson has some more sophisticated dining experiences. Food was thoughtful and well-prepared but just lacked any distinct qualities. With a little refinement, Agustin Kitchen could be a real gem.
We all had the Ciopino, which was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.
food was excellent and beautifully served. This was a brunch and eggs benedict done perfectly. I keep going back.
The atmosphere was nice, but our server was less than attentive. The food was lacking flavor from appetizers and salads to main courses and desserts.
My wife and I try and go on a weekly date night. We had tried Agustin Kitchen a couple of years ago on Valentine’s Day. I remember her enjoying a quality meal while I ordered the halibut and had to pick out the bones of my own filet. Fast forward 2 years and we decided to try it again. This restaurant is on the higher end of our date night budget but we wanted to give Agustin Kitchen another chance.
The Maitre’d at the door was very welcoming and seated us right away in a corner booth. We ordered an appetizer that was very decent. For our main course, my wife ordered the steak at medium rare. When the steak was brought out, she tried cutting into it but had a very hard time. When we cut into it, the steak was still purple and raw. We sent it back and asked for them to cook it again. A few minutes later, they brought another meal out (which was nowhere near as detailed as the first dish) and as she cut into it, it was raw again. At that point, my wife felt that she was inconveniencing the kitchen staff and opted not to eat. With our date night nearly ruined, we were at the point where we wanted to leave. Our server was very sweet but seemed newer. She offered us dessert on the house which we declined (we just wanted to get out of there) and she brought us our check. After looking at our check we noticed that the only “compensation” was removing my wife’s meal. We did not want to make a scene at the time so we paid the bill with our card and tipped her in cash (20% of the original bill (after all, it wasn’t her fault my wife didn’t eat)) and left. We made the decision to follow up with the restaurant and give them a chance to make things right before submitting our review. It took us 2 weeks before we were able to get in touch with the GM and explain our situation. He was apologetic and said he would look into our bill in order to find a way to compensate some portion of our meal. 1 week later and we still have yet to hear from the GM. We will not be returning.
We have had Abby as our server, she is very good, great smile, personable, and meets our needs perfectly. I wish the chef would warm the plates that the food is served on. Could that be done? Other wise we will return. Thank you.
Cool spot near some fun shops, great service, would just have wanted more options for Lunch on a Saturday instead of the Brunch Menu. Good Bloody Mary!!
Our server was fantastic, attentive and so helpful. We had a great table and wonderful food. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Cioppino sauce could have had a little more zing. It was on the bland side.
Great Dinner last night. Chris our server was attentive and very nice.
We were disappointed that there were no fresh oysters available.
Manager checked in on us and gave us his card. That was a nice touch. Will for sure return soon.
Our food was incredible and ample! My sauvignon blanc wine was not as good as my Cesar Salad! However, we had a great time. Our birthday friend got a complimentary tiramisu and our waiter Ben- was AMAZING!
We will be back! HIghly recommended!
This place never disappoints! It’s consistently been the best date night spot! Only gripe, personally, is the drinks seem a little small. As in the glasses seem smaller than average.
Service was very slow. Took 30 minutes before our order was taken. Had to ask for place settings & napkins multiple times. Food was good but a bit pricey. Scallops are3 for $33.
The food was good. Service was sparse. COVID-19 has caused a shortage of employees in every industry and was definitely felt. We only had one carafe of water and were never asked if we wanted any more water or anything additional other than dessert. We received our main dishes and before our salads. Ended up cancelling the salad orders. Food was good, but will not return until service improves.
Nice but .. the temperature was too warm. Food was good but charging for two small loaves of bread caused me to shake my head.
The waiter was very attentive.
But. I would not return. There are other restaurants that deliver.
Very good service and food was excellent
Fresh and tasty. House prepared bacon is the BEST!
My sisters and I had a lovely experience. The food and service were excellent. We shared a filet - it may have been one of the best we have ever had. It was a bit noisy; we think that we would have preferred to sit outside.
Always a very pleasant atmosphere with good food and good service. It is a favorite place for a working lunch.
