Very good food and a nice atmosphere. Staff was great!
Given how much we love this restaurant, we chose it for our first sit-down, fine dining experience since March and we were not disappointed. The outdoor seating, the distance between tables, and the mask-wearing people, both working and dining, allayed our concerns about dining out during a pandemic. Also, the misting system rendered a 100+ degree evening absolutely delightful. Of course, the food, the beverages, and the service were excellent per usual.
Two hours before entree was served. Steak had to go back to cook longer and the mushroom risotto didn’t have any mushrooms in it. Best item were the mussels appetizer. However I don’t think you should have to pay for bread to be served with it. Service was terrible. This is one of my favorite Tucson restaurants prior to the pandemic. Maybe ownership has changed
The service was fabulous as always. The food was terrific!
They let someone sit near us with a barking dog which was obnoxious, we wanted a nice brunch to celebrate our anniversary away from our loud kids and dog. They had misters, but we’re almost on too much as you could hardly see and we were pretty damp by the time our meal was done. I was given the wrong meal, although I appreciate they gave us half off the plate without us asking. We had to wait a long time for service and drinks although the restaurant was pretty empty. The waiter gave me a hard time about ordering a hot tea, not everyone likes coffee. We’ve really only had one great experience at this restaurant. I really want to like it and keep trying to convince my husband to go back but we end up not being happy
There was only outside seating, which is why I rated the "Ambiance" lower. The indoor dining room is beautiful, and if we had eaten inside, my score would have been much higher. But the quality of the food was--as usual--great, and I was happy to support the restaurant in the midst of this covid-19 crisis.
Best calamari in town.
Belated graduation dinner - good times!
Our dinner was mixed: two of us enjoyed our entrees but the two who ordered burgers said that they were unremarkable, especially for the price. The French fries were very good, though. We love the patio and the Mercado in general and always wanted Agustin to succeed even though the food has always been uneven. Our server was very inattentive and cold - we felt like we were intruding on him by asking for more water. He smiled only when we asked for the check. I‘Ve been tipping high because of the pandemic, but I grudgingly tipped him only 20% because he really dampened our evening.
A favorite for us. Quiet and clean and outdoor seating during these trying times was set up perfectly with a great misting system to keep us cool.
Amazing food and this round we went to the brunch for the first time.
Agustin is doing a great job marrying fine dining with COVID regulations.
Beautiful outdoor setting. Server and food delicious. As always.
We had Father’s Day brunch here. Overall it was a good experience. I assume servers and staff are getting used to knew guidelines bc of the virus. They forgot one of our meals so it came out much later than the rest and we had to ask for silverware, condiments etc. more than once as they seemed to be busy and would forget to come back. But the food was amazing and I appreciated their effort in trying to keep everyone safe and healthy.
Nicely laid out for social distancing food was excellent. Will need to return soon.
Wonderful food, service. Great place to enjoy the evening with friends. Or in my case a birthday!
I enjoy dining at Agustin's, my complaint is that some of my favorite dishes were removed from the menu, especially the truffle fries, but it is understandable considering the current events. This will not keep me from returning.

The food was delicious and our server was kind, delightful, and attentive. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back!!
Food was very good as was the service. Wine was excellent. Waitress was very attentive. Will return another day
We were in Tucson for a couple of weeks and found the Agustin Kitchen to be a gem. Our seating for a lunch/brunch was outside by request. It was pleasant, quiet, and the food was outstanding - perfectly prepared. Highly recommended.
2 of us ordered the skillet plate. The sauce was tasteless, the brussel sprouts and oyster mushrooms were under cooked.
1 ordered the corn beef hash and said it was fatty, the potatoes were lukewarm but the poached eggs were good.
We had to go inside to get salt and pepper--much needed on all the dishes. Toast was served without butter.
Service was friendly and basically good. Ambience was great.
Excellent food as always. Service was a little slow but it was a busy night. Dined outdoors & it was lovely. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this gem.
Jeff was an excellent server (and super fun)! Thank you!
Michael the waiter was fantastic. He made our birthday dinner a special event.
Lovely spot with delicious food. We sat at the bar (you can actually reserve either that or table seating). As this is our first visit to Tucson, took the bar hoping to enjoy conversation with fellow patrons. But it is not a good bar for eating and the poor bartend/ waitress was way overworked. Pork Achioli, Caesar salad and the barrio bread with farmer’s pesto spread were all delicious. Pricey, but I would go again.
Nice, between elegant and decent casual. Always a wonderful experience from entering to coffee & dessert.
Very attractive place! Food is ok, but not great, and seemed overpriced for the meal.
The best brunch and a superb environment. It is always a treat to sample the menu and find a new favorite!
The service for our table of six was exceptional with frequent check ins and personal interaction that made the experience more special.
I will return again for brunch again and again.
Wonderful birthday dinner. Decor, service and food were all great.
Friendly staff, a little loud, food was excellent with generous portions, free parking, overall a great date night before a concert at the Fox Theater.
Wonderful dinner and service. My friend had the risotto. I had the pork. The apple dessert, a la mode was tasty, too.
Dear Ellen, thank you for leaving us such a wonderful review. We are thrilled that you loved your experience; our staff will definitely be happy to read what you wrote. We are so grateful for your kind words. Thanks for sharing your review with us and the community!
Just wasn’t super tasty. Also hard to believe they charged for bread when eating cioppino.

Went for fried chicken Sunday dinner. They had no fried chicken.
Bummer. Very limited menu. Not very good options. What happened here?
The bacon and egg meal was very poor. Bacon overcooked and small piece of bread hard. Others in our group enjoyed their meals.
Came here for my wife's birthday and had a great time. The food was great and so was the service I'd love to go again soon. Highly recommend!
Dear Linda, We're happy you had a fantastic time with us! We hope to see you again soon!
Wonderful staff, great food, good quality, good price.
Had friends in town from San Diego, went to brunch before the rodeo. Although I do highly recommend the fried chicken and pancakes, my friends had the eggs Benedict which both orders were cold when they brought them to the table. Presentation on all four meals were good, but the eggs should have been hot when served.
The food is always good and the service, as well. To me, the only 'knock' on this place is the poor acoustics, and clanging noise from the open kitchen.
I love Agustin Kitchen for a Great Brunch. If the weather cooperates it is most fun to request the outside eating area. The court yard is very vibrant and great for people watching. Can't go wrong with this restaurant.
We are in Tucson for gem shows for 18 days so we have to go out to eat every nights. In all 18 dinners we would say this is the least valuable restaurant we visited regardless of price. Food was not good and service was mediocre. I would not recommend this place since there are lots of good selection here in town.
