The place is closed currently. Shouldn’t be on open table
Made a reservation on Open Table for this restaurant. Arrived on time to find this restaurant is SHUT DOWN. We asked around, as another family showed up also for a reservation. Apparently, this place has been closed since APRIL. There is a sign on the window that it will be opening as a different Mexican restaurant, but I don't know when that will be. I did contact Open Table to let them know about this restaurant still being on the list for reservations. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. THERE IS NO RESTAURANT OPEN IN THIS SPOT. Open Table was kind to honor the reservation with points. Obviously wasted my time & didn't get the dinner I was hoping for.
I’d love to tell you about this experience but the place is permanently closed! How was I able to make a reservation?
What a huge inconvenience!!!
On the bright side, It looks like a new place will be opening in the same spot soon .
The restaurant was close so we were unable to have dinner there tonight.
we made reservation ,went to restaurant and it was closed!!!
Terrible service, very poor food and drink quality, very disappointed
We enjoyed the food and the beverages very much. The only issue was the menus had food all over them. This was not very appetizing.
We really enjoyed the outstanding Mexican cuisine!
The place was empty on a Saturday night. Expensive for what you get. Service was fine, but the place was not what I expected.
Have notified Open Table twice but they still haven’t updated the website - this restaurant CLOSED 9/30/2018. Sorry to see it go - owner was wonderful and food was outstanding!
Great food. Attentive service. Worth the drive and definitely will return.
Fabulous find! The best warm tortilla chips I can remember, and the guacamole was simply terrific. The tacos were all delicious, though it was really hard to pick which to have as so many on the extensive list sounded good! We ended up having the fish, the shrimp, and the braised pork and each was better than the last. The chicken fajitas were also excellent - what a nice change of pace to get more chicken than vegetables. Really nice serving dish with all the appropriate sides in their own compartments. Wonderful presentation. Great meal all around and Juliana was super. Can't wait to go back.
Great food and service. Martin, our waiter, was excellent.
The food is always excellent but our server was extremely distracted and inattentive. So disappointed because we love this place.
Had a reservation scheduled for my work dinner we arrived at the restaurant and found it had a hand written note on the door "closed Tuesday and Wednesday for holiday" so client looked at us like we were the lying as we told them reservations were set. Extremely upset probably will not return at this point.
The sauces are so complex and so delicious! Each time we try a new dish, we are never disappointed.
Ensalada fresca is a staple - so refreshing.
Food was cold and not good tasting.
Food was great! Service was slow! Honestly we would have had at least one more margarita each if someone had taken the time to see how we were doing.
Fantastic food and exceptional service! We will be back! The tacos were amazing!!
This is second visit. Love the tacos and guacamole. We also had a pitcher of Margaritas. I have no idea why but we were there for over 2 hours. Server rarely stopped by. It was busy but no one was waiting to be seated.
food was not good at all. Stopped coming here awhile back because food had gone down hill since its opening. When first opened, this restaurant was popular and the food was very good. Now the quality of the food is terrible and the place is empty. We thought we would see if anything had improved after 6 months but it was not. Would not recommend this to anyone!
Average at best, nice staff
Our server was excellent, very attentive. Food was very good. the only draw back would be the noise level. But we will be back!
A big party was occupying the kitchen to the detriment of all the smaller tables, ours included. We waited an hour for food after we ordered and the management did not acknowledge the problem. Our waiter was very apologetic but the manager never came over to explain the situation or offer come kind of compensation, be it a drink on the house or a deduction on the bill. We were with my 81 year old father who was used to eating much earlier so the whole evening was a bit of a disaster. The food is always pretty good here but after this experience, we will not be back.
Great food..server great. You cant be in a hurry because food takes quite a while to arrive.
This was an enjoyable experience start to finish. The Enchiladas Mexicanas, chicken with mole sauce, were tasty and more than enough. I took two of them home. The Chili Rellenos were also tasty. A tablespoon of refried beans in each dish was a bit stingy. Red and green salsas were also good as was the guacamole. Pleasant, efficient service. Agua miel is a notch or two above many Mexican restaurants. I'd go back.
Food was great as expected. Service was slow and inattentive. Wait staff seemed to be focused on the large groups not the single tables :(
Service very slow and extremely loud environment
Food was authentic and had a nice selection. The only negative was that it was very noisy, almost to the point of being distracting.
Each time we have eaten there it has been 'different'. Historically the materials used in the food are of quality and B to B+ flavor profiles. The chaos / less consistent aspect is how / if food comes out as ordered. On our last visit, my mother in laws food never came out. We had to subdivide from other plates to get her fed. Once the server asked "what's up" they offered to start another order; however, it had been over an hour since we arrived. So, good bones but needs to tighten up.
It appeared they only had two servers on. Service was extremely slow. The food is always consistently good but service is hit or miss.
I've been here twice in the last month. Great food, margaritas, atmosphere and service!
Disappointing experience. The portions were small and overpriced. I would not recommend.
Food was good. Had guac and chips for an appetizer, was good.
Ordered the Tuesday 3 tacos and margarita deal. Made reservations on open table, noted it was my friend’s birthday. Nothing special was done for my friend, I had to mention it to the waiter. Service was slow. Overall I would go back again and hope the service was better.
Great service for a large group. Our server was incredible!
Super bland, especially for a Mexican restaurant. Would never go back to again.
Love this restaurant but there was only one server and the restaurant got busy. Service was slow. Disappointed and hesitant to return.
Best Mexican food since leaving Mexico City, everything from the starter to the main dish was a very pleasant experience. All the wait staff were pleasant and attentive
We have been there several times, food is good, but not great, has seemed better in the past. It is usually very busy and noisy, that night was fairly empty for a Saturday, not sure what was going on.
Aguamiel was a restaurant I really enjoyed in days past. One of their best dishes for me were the Chiles Rellenos, they were cooked to order and were fresh and fluffy, now you can tell they have been pre-cooked and they are flat and unappetizing. My wife had some shrimp that had a fishy smell. Our waiter was attentive and the restaurant was not busy at all, not the way it used to be, so it seems customers have had similar experiences, not to mention their up charging on orders especially tacos.
