The destination is AMAZING...but the food for the prices were just mediocre. We all got the short ribs and pasta and it was a little fatty and very expensive for the portion you get.
Everything was perfect from beginning to end.
We will definitely return.
Food was excellent. Prices were over the top expensive but the value was there. Portion size was good too but still, it was over the top expensive.
When I made the reservation, I followed up with a phone call and the lovely woman asked if I wanted an ocean front table. I said absolutely. Upon checkin, we were placed in a table at the back of the terrace. I am not sure what happened there.
That said, service needs some serious work. We sat down and for more than five minutes, no one came to us. Not to say hello and not to offer drinks. We tried to flag down (!) someone unsuccessfully several times. I almost got up to go get a manager because I was starting to get annoyed. Then Antonio finally came over. He barely introduced himself and we had to tell him we wanted to order drinks. Then in less than a minute, someone else walked to our table and asked if we wanted to order wine. He didn't say hello and he certainly didn't introduce himself either as the sommelier. Then he promptly walked away. Not a good start. I almost wanted to get up and leave if not for our friends.
This is a first class restaurant in a first class hotel. The service has to be better with more experienced staff.
Overall a great experience. Food and service is great. Biggest disappointment is the price of their wine. Boarders on insanely too high.
Wonderful service, excellent meal, the surrounding were lovely.
Highly recommended. Staff, service, food and atmosphere excellent.
Beautiful grounds...amazing spot to catch a sunset...my food was just okay for the price of the meal. A glass of average red wine was $25. Be prepared to spend around $300 for dinner for two.
Our dinner was amazing. The food and service was off the charts. It was incredible.
Beautiful setting, delicious food. Very expensive, but you're paying for an amazing experience and impeccable service.
It’s an amazing place with top notch service .
Food is outstanding .
Everything about it is incredible .
Amazing service and the ambiance overlooking the Sea of Cortez with the waves crashing onto the rocks was mesmerizing.
As always, great service in a world class environment
Hace MUCHO calor
A great location overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Lots of fish in the sea bass fish tacos, great flavor. The club sandwich was very good sized. Service was great and very attentive. We sat in a private booth on the edge of the water, very nice. On the expensive side for sure. My only complaint is when a nice restaurant or resort is so pretentious that they feel thd need charge $6 for a soda and $11 for a bottle of Fuji water, no problem with $12-15 for a great cocktail but water and soda? Come on now that's just ridiculous.
Quaint restaurant with amazing ambiance, impeccable service and delicious food. We celebrated our anniversary at Agua and Jorge was our waiter. He was exceptional and made our anniversary celebration very special. Highly recommend and look forward to returning.
Just amazing! Great place, great food, great live music, great attentive service.
Ambiance in this restaurant was exceptional. what a beautiful place it is to sit and take in your surroundings. Tastefully decorated and the overhead umbrellas were magnificent, the food was good ,the tuna tartar was delicious and for my main course I had the Payeya which was a bit salty for me . Overall the ambience beat the food .
Location is beautiful. Food was good. Staff were wonderful. It's hard to get to the location and the price is much more than Open Table says. You should expect to spend $100-150 USD per person.
Most delicious and special meal in Cabo. We spent a week at the One&Only Palmilla in July, and had dinner at Agua by Larbi on our last night. Our waiters were friendly and helpful, with suggestions about what dishes we might enjoy, after we narrowed down our choices. From presentation to taste, every dish was outstanding. Yes, it is an expensive meal, but it is absolutely worth it! Ask for a table by the water, and dine during sunset. The ambiance is spectacular.
A must visit. Outstanding food and service. My third visit and I will be back.
The restaurant was great. Awesome view, great food and ambience. Highly recommend.
One of our most amazing dining experiences in Cabo. The service was impeccable, the stone table view amazing, and food was outstanding. Price may be high for Cabo, but by American standards was not so bad
Ambiance and views are spectacular, had a live mariachi quartet which was outstanding. Service is impeccable. Ordered a salad which was good, nothing notable. Shared the paella which was disappointing. Dry, salty and spicy, not an authentic Spanish paella. Chef is Moroccan and has his own interpretation of Paella. Way overpriced for the value of the food.
This place is one on the most beautiful restaurants we've ever experienced!!! The food was excellent and the service impeccable! We highly recommend this restaurant!!!👍🌞
My family of 4 ate here last night June 4 , 2017 . The view was just breathtaking. The staff was there to do everything for you . We thought the food was delicious and felt like they gave you enough of it as well . Yes it is expensive. That is why we drank water and didn't get Desert like we usually do when we go out . $360 in America dollars but we were celebrating my 50th birthday so we didn't mind the price at all .
The food was amazing. We tried several bar and restaurant menu items - shrimp salad, tuna roll, cerviche - even the guacamole was ridiculous. The flavors in each dish were very thoughtful and balanced - very delicious. The wine and cocktails were also amazing - thank you to Felipe the bar director for making us a special boulvardier - really great night and an amazing view!
Extraordinary restaurant in a fabulous location. Service and ambiance are out of this world. Very expensive.
Amazing view and service! Food is also great. Me and my husband are went there for lunch so the view is incredible! We definitely come back this place when we visit to Cabo again!
Wow! Amazing view and service. VERY expensive... would be better suited for a special occasion. Food was all delicious. Enjoyed the mariachi band. LOVED the wine list - best wine I tried in Cabo.
Excellent service, beautiful surroundings, food is very good. Very expensive.
View, service, food quality, and options, all come together to make this place truly incomparable.
A fantastic dining experience. We've dined at Agua several times and it always delivers with fantastic meals, wines, service and setting. Food and setting are absolutely amazing but for me, what puts it over the top is the kind and attentive staff. Everyone from hostess, wait staff, sommelier, management, etc. is so kind and professional, engaging and desirous to make your dining experience memorable that you leaving wanting for nothing. One of our favorite dining experiences anywhere in the world!
Outstanding food and service and a beautiful location. Enjoyed the food as much as Eleven Madison park and Narisawa, for half the price.
The check in experience is not good. The food has gone downhill. The setting is spectacular, and the food used to be just as good. Has slipped.
We went to Agua to celebrate my wife's birthday. Right as we entered the resort, everyone we had interactions with, were so nice and polite. The setting was amazing. A table with a fireplace nearby. The band to our right. And the views were amazing. Hector, our waiter, went above and beyond bringing my wife a special dessert and the band sang her Happy Birthday (in Spanish of course haha).
We only had one little hiccup, where my wife asked for the remainder of her food to be packed up, and unfortunately they threw it away by accident. But Hector made sure to get her a new one, to go.
All in all, a top notch experience. We will definitely be back!
Great place but the food is way over priced. Wine was 2x of what it should be. We like fine dining and the value was not there. Great food and service.
This place was exquisite, excellent service, beautiful presentation of the food & magical ambiance.
We returned to this magical place to celebrate my 55th birthday,I had celebrated my 50th and it was spectacular! The location is so beautiful and the views are magnificent. The service is impeccable, they do don't miss a beat. I started with the tuna roll that was phenomenal and my two friends had Caprese salad that was not typical slices,it was tricolor tomatoes chunked and tossed and they said it was amazing. My one friend had the short rib which she loved and my other friend had fettuccini with Italian sausage which was very good but very pricey . I had sea bass which was not good however they were very attentive and replaced my meal which unfortunately was not good either. I guess it just wasn't my night, I got the short rib like my friend and mine had a huge chunk of fat running through it. Again they were very attentive but I was over it, my last experience was so great I just wanted to duplicate it. They were so nice and sent out a beautiful dessert.
