Agora Churrascaria is a Brazilian Steak House in the "Rodizio" style, where waiters, dressed as Gauchos (local ranchers from the South), move from table to table carrying skewers of meat, from which they slice portions for their guests. Agora serves 12 different cuts of meat, including beef, pork, lamb and chicken. The restaurant prepares each cut as it has been for centuries: seasoned with rock salt to accent the individual tastes of each cut, and slow-roasted over an open flame. Upon being seated, every guest is given a green and red-sided circular chip to control their fixed price, continuous tableside service. The green side signals the Gaucho to "bring it on," while the red side stops the service. For additional servings, guests simply flip the indicator back to the green side. In addition to the succulent meat selections, Agora offers an outstanding hot and cold salad bar, comprised of Brazilian and seafood specialties as well as a variety of tempting side dishes.

Fun experience. Party of 7 adults & 2 kids.
Sonny was our table host & he was excellent.
All of the wait staff was accommodating.
So many protein options & all cooked to perfection.
For the price of dinner I was disappointed there were
no “desserts” included.

I took my son for lunch to celebrate his birthday. Everyone was very nice. Our server Luiz was very attentive and friendly. All the gauchos were also very attentive and bringing meat cuts constantly. The salad bar was excellent, although I would have liked to see some type of soup or cream.
Overall, we loved the food and had a great time. We'll be back!

This is a fantastic restaurant, service was off the charts, and the food/Steak was fantastic.. Pretty pricey, but we will be back. :)

I took a client out for dinner a couple months ago and they loved it. I came back to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and she loved it! The waiter was very polite and friendly. So was the entire staff. They make you feel very welcomed.

Food was good. Not a lot of selection at the Salad bar like Foco De chao. Meat was good. But tell me why I was offered Leg of Lamb three times, the chicken leg 4 times. And the meat variety once each.
The meat was really good. May have to drive a few more minutes to go to Foco De Chao next time.

This was a surprise early birthday dinner on Sunday Feb. 16th. and our server was Mario. Neither one of us had been to a Brazilian Steakhouse and my guy had been talking about Picanha steak for well over a year. As a culinary professional with 10 years in the industry, it was very important to me to choose the right place for our occasion.
After reading many reviews of various restaurants from Los Angeles, West Covina, and Beach Cities, I finally made my decision on Agora Churrascaria and made a reservation for Sunday night at 6:30. After driving 70 miles I was so happy that there was no overly large gaudy sign to ruin my surprise. His eyes lit up upon our entrance and filled with excitement while taking in the atmosphere. We walked in the door and were immediately seated by the kind host. The restaurant was buzzing but not overly packed. A few guests at the bar and occupied tables in each section with gauchos bustling from table to table. We sat in the back corner of the restaurant behind a stone pillar which provided some privacy to our evening but also close to the salad bar. Mario came over shortly after sitting down and gave us a general breakdown as to how the system works. I highly suggest thinking about what you are going to put on your plate before eating or else you will be unable to eat what you really went there for.
The salad bar was divine, the cocktails were balanced, service impeccable, and hospitality ever so courteous. I preferred the cold items at the salad bar instead of what was on the hot side. Mixed greens, tomatoes, artichokes, cured salmon, shrimp cocktail, blanched veggies, marinated veggies, sauces and assortment of vinegars, oils, and of course the chimichurri. The skirt steak, tri tip and picanha were my absolute favorite. However, we were so full that we were unable to try everything. Dessert portions and presentations reasonable with price. Thank you for a memorable evening!

Food is excellent but for us the service made this a truly memorable dining event. All the servers are attentive, beyond courteous and ensure all needs are met promptly and completely! The manager came over 2x to ensure we had an enjoyable experience and to confirm we had no needs to be met.

As for the food!! OMG! All meats were done perfectly with multiple levels of doneness on each spit. The Brazilian Black Beans are a must for pairing with steak and the Greens, chicken, lamb and Tri-Tip are excellent as well! DEFINITELY going back ASAP!

Awesome experience. Every staff member was attentive and professional. Food was great, if you’re a meat eater. They also had a variety of food that you can get. Will recommend you family and friends and definitely be returning :)

The selections and quality of the food at the salad bar/appetizers and the meats from the servers walking from table to table was amazing!! Cheese bread basket was always refreshed with warm biscuits and was delicious. Waitress was attentive and we wanted for nothing the entire meal. Only thing that would have made this 100 percent would have been a larger table for dinner. It was a small round table and not much extra room for plates and glasses. Other than that it was a fantastic St. Valentine's dinner.

I've been now, three times to Agora. I've loved it every time. This was no different. I only rated the ambiance less than perfect as the music played was overly boisterous, and reminiscent of a dance club or college frat party. The lamb was perfect. Especially the chops. Had they been on the fire for even a few more seconds, it would have been too long. I look forward to dining again.

We absolutely love this restaurant. I could make a full meal out of just the salad bar! But then the meats start coming, and all my resolutions to be good go out the window. Great place for a date, dinner with friends, or a business meal. One of our top choices in the OC area!

We enjoyed our second New Year’s Eve dinner with you! We appreciate the large table being ready for us at our reservation time for the second year in a row! Very nice service too! From the greeter, the waitress and the meat servers- all had smiles on their faces and nice personalities!

Of course, New Years Eve is probably one of the busiest nights however, our waitress, who was very nice and helpful when she first introduced herself, was non existent for most of the dinner. I wanted to get a glass of wine but never had the chance. I could have asked a Groucho but never did, thinking she would return. Food was excellent and our friends that we brought along loved the food!
