Requested a booth 5 days in advance for my wife’s BD dinner. Walked in to “sorry, no booths yet it appeared one had just been seated. Was seated in a side room with about 6 tables, too of which were seated with 6-8 people. Room had large windows that apparently aren’t insulated because the heat was on constantly and blowing directly on our table from the ceiling. I asked if it could be turned down and shortly after a women next to us out her coat on and my wife said her legs felt the cold now. It was 40 degrees out so I would never sit in there in winter. They had one waiter and one bus boy taking care of the entire room. 1:45 to eat (no dessert/coffee) and $132 bill. Glad it was over. Just can’t find an Italian restaurant to replace Tuscany in Oak Brook. No little dessert for the wife either. Must not pay attention to Open Table reservation. Wife commented why we even use it😀

Agio is my very favorite restaurant. (I'd go every night, if I could LOL.) I had a business colleague visiting from out of town and wanted to bring him somewhere that I could guarantee good all-around everything. I had the branzino on polenta, which was good and he had the frutti di mare pasta, which he said was most excellent (I think his words were "very yummy"). The cocktails and wine were awesome, as usual (it's my favorite place for cocktails, as well). And, as usual, the service was phenomenal (Ashleigh was wonderful, as have all the staff been -- Pedro, Kelly and Kristin). I've never had a bad experience or bad service at Agio!

A bit too loud for the space. Wrong dish was delivered to the table, the mistake was acknowledged by the server. However, it was not originally taken off the bill and we were charged for 3 meals for 2 individuals. Missed that this was a significant occasion that was noted in the reservation.

The food is terrific. The Penne Marsala w/ chicken was phenomenal. My wife had a risotto w/ sweet corn and butternut squash (a Fall special) which was even better than I expected. It gets really crowded after 7pm, so allow extra time for your meal. The atmosphere is relaxing. A great place for celebrating an event or just having a nice Italian dinner or drinks.

Enjoyed Agio for the first time last night with old friends. Our drinks were good (French martini, beer and Kim Crawford wine) and Jean our server was attentive. The food was excellent as well. I had the eggplant parm which was very tasty and perfect for a rainy Chicago night.

There was a time when this was one of my favorites. The last two times here it has been disappointing. Sadly this time not only the service was bad so was the food. A party consisted of three, I had the veal parmigiana, the veal was extremely tough and hard to cut. My partner had Alfredo which was barely lukewarm. Our guest had the eggplant. She claimed it was good , but maybe to polite to say anything different.

Always exceptional! My sister was entertaining a business associate from out of state and wanted her to meet my husband and me for dinner. Agio is our first choice for entertaining family and friends who visit. When it’s just the two of us, we prefer to have drinks and dinner at the bar, enjoying the sociable scene and welcoming interchanges with bartender Patrick, Leo and others. This time we opted for a table and were well attended to by Leo. It was our first time in the lovely Fireplace Room. We ordered Minestrone, Salad, Grilled Asparagus, Spinach Ravioli, Veal Piccata, Chicken Piccata, Cabernet and Sparkling Wine. Everything was delicious and we were all happy with our food choices as well as the service. The two of us ended the evening at the bar for a nightcap. No photos this time.

Food and service was excellent. My only complain was I wish restaurants would stop adding a credit card fee to the bill. Please just build it into the prices if you need it. I do not want to see it.

This place is a gem hidden in a strip mall. Best. Service. Ever. Food is delicious; well prepared. The guys especially like the duck. The gals had a sea bass special that was incredible. Be prepared for a credit card surcharge on your bill or bring cash….
