AG Kitchen was a great place for brunch after the NYRR NYC Half Marathon! Food was delicious and drinks were great, too! The staff was very nice, accommodating and attentive! :)
Servers were nice, the food was decent. A little overpriced but overall a good experience
we were a group of 6, including 2 youngsters and they made us all feel very welcome. like that the brunch menu also has lunch type items as well and there are lots of nice choices. I still stick with the fish tacos which are so goodl
We loved this place we ate there twice in a weekend. The Guacamole is awesome. The breakfast tacos for two, were great (see photo). The food is very reasonable in price. We will continue to make it a local favorite of ours. On previous visits, the kids have enjoyed the burgers and the other wonderful kids meal options.
A.G. Kitchen is a great restaurant. Great food, great service. I was meeting friends for brunch and wanted a nice place in the neighborhood. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal!
Haven’t been here in awhile and it was as good as we remembered. Fun drinks selection, great food options, burgers to appy’s, house made guacamole. We love the tacos (choose one of each flavor!), bacon-wrapped dates, special house-roasted chicken, and oh... the churros...!!!
We come here often for date nights. They have the best cubano’s in NYC, for sure! And such a lovely ambiance :)
I love the turkey burger. It is very flavorful, juicy and nicely grilled. The service is very attentive. They made a special ice tea for me with herbal tea. I look forward to going back very soon.
Fun place with good, fun food. Tacos and burgers were very good. Drinks were a bit pricey, but that’s life in the big city.
We love AG but we have found in the last two times we were there that the food and service were quite slow - despite the place being only half full. Please add servers or kitchen staff (if needed) and get back to the (normal) speed of service and food we grew used to.
Service (Amanda) was awesome, food perfect and just all around great experience.
AG kitchen is normally a solid choice but I probably won’t go back for brunch. They sat me and a first date in the lounge even though I had a reservation. The servers were fantastic when my date was 20 minutes late even though I could tell they were annoyed with her. French toast was decent but nothing special. Recommend for dinner or happy hour.
Great Sangria - burgers were cooked as requested - silverware was dirty, but quickly replaced.
Waiter so friendly and quick. Good food so tasty.
Always great and very good service with the best menu
Server was fantastic! Great dinner sandwiches - extremely tasty and hearty. Good bar menu. Worth going
Very disappointing. Drinks were terrible- sangria overly sweet, didn't seem to have actual alcohol in it. Margarita tasted like Limeade- truly gross. Food was disappointing too, particularly the paella (mushy, poor flavor), and the ceviche, which wasn't true ceviche as advertised but was basically a bunch of cooked shrimp drenched in what tasted like pineapple salsa out of a can. The guacamole was tasty but cilantro-heavy. Basically won't be coming back here.
Most of the food was delicious. However, my wife is a fresh tuna lover and her tuna was not that fresh. That was the only food negative, but it was significant!!
Fantastic guacamole. Great burgers. Very pleased with the meal and the service. Not too far from Lincoln Center.
We are at the bar. Avocado Toast was great! Get a side of bacon - it’s e best crispy bacon in ny.
We live in the neighborhood of AG Kitchen, and have eaten there dozens of times. This time we went with friends who spoke broken english. She wanted plain salmon with vegetables. There is one salmon dish on the menu, with sauces. I asked if she could just have the salmon plain, and then asked if it comes with vegetables, as it didn't say. We were planning to order from the side dishes otherwise. The waitress looked at me and barked "read the Menu". I showed her the menu, patiently, and said this was the only salmon dish there, and it doesn't say. To which she apologized profusely.
Too late. This was Christmas Eve. The restaurant was half empty. My husband told her we wanted another server.
Sorry, AG Kitchen, but no more visits from us, with or without guests.
Service was not great and the bar ran out of cold beer. Food for the table arrived ten minutes apart and the waiter didn't get the order right. The food isn't bad but is way over-priced for what it is. Would not eat there again.
Consistently great fresh food. Best burgers, burritos, Samba chicken. Once a week at least!
Don’t normally write reviews, but really like AG Kitchen. Food is extremely consistent (and absolutely delicious). Unfortunately, tonight is the first time I’ve been disappointed with the service. The waiter had a poor attitude each time he visited the table. When minor requests were made for food or drinks he was unpleasant and not amenable. Overall, will definitely be back, but hoping we don’t have to deal with the same waiter.
Simple, clear neighborhood mix-Mex restaurant with tasty food, good drinks and delightful service. Nothing mind blowing but the arugula salad is excellent and the Braised Short Ribs Arepa are among the best on the menu. Easy, casual, and the wait staff is very fun. It is a place to go to often, on the spur for simply good food.
Our favorite neighborhood spot
Our second visit to AG Kitchen. The quality and selection of dishes is excellent. Yes, it can be noisy, but the food and the excellent service are the attraction, and apparently, many others agree.
It was lovely! We are looking forward to returning!
You don’t want to miss the ceviche or the poke bowl; best with a passion fruit frozen margarita. But I doubt there’s much you could go wrong with here. Great burgers and all the rest.
Very average, worst fries we have ever tasted. Strange sweet calamari.
We had tried to get into this place on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and they were booked solid. After eating there Saturday night, I now know why. This place is awesome. Food is great. Guaq was delicious. My wife had the potato skin burger and loved it. We will be back, and often.
Prompt courteous service, Varied menu, clearly a popular local venue! Warm and friendly vibe!
It’s one of the neighborhood restaurants we eat in regularly. The food, short wine list, and cocktails are really good and well worth the price. Waitstaff almost always super helpful. One complaint: very noisy! I have to wear ear plugs.
AG by far, has the absolute Best guac on the block!
Brunch for 3. Happy with my chicken sandwich. Really good fries -enough for all of us. Eating partners had creole shrimp and a nacho salad. Everyone content.
We came for dinner before an event at Lincoln Center. Clean and bright space. Friendly and efficient staff. Really good food- try the pulled pork steamed buns appetizer, it was delicious and unique.
It’s one of our neighborhood go to Restaurants. Always good
Friendly, neighborhood restaurant , good acomodation, great brunch!
Waiter was very careful to bring unsalted food for 1 diner, as requested.
Excellent as usual.
