Attentive staff who asked us just to let them know when we wanted our tea pot replenished (which we did). Sandwiches, scones and cakes were all superb. Great value. We have had afternoon tea in many other establishments, hotels and restaurants and this was by far the best one. Very happy to pay the optional 10% tip.

What a unfiendly greeting we had by miserable staff . Confusion over my booking too, also cold coffee & cold hot chocolate, I asked for good view park / riverside outside view, but got a view over noisey playground with drums. Plenty of room elsewhere . Scones were hard & tiny cakes were boring.Had to ask for extra plates for the scones we hadnt ordered , no staff around to help. Also so cheeky to put on a service charge ,when our service was so awful. My cousin from Canada was not impressed. I was very embarrased by the whole experience . Nearly £10 for a glass of wine, thats robbery. Some of the staff did not understand English.... what a nightmare.

A crowd of us recently had afternoon tea at the rooftop restaurant to celebrate a friends birthday. It was a fabulous afternoon with children and people with special dietary needs well catered for. Great place with lovely views and staff that are friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend the restaurant for any occasion.

Lovely ‘high tea’ with a brilliant view, friendly staff and a good selection of savoury and sweet including great veggie options.

The service, ambience and view was fantastic. We had a special afternoon and really enjoyed it. The vegan afternoon tea was mostly fantastic, and I really appreciated having a full selection of treats for afternoon tea. I can't fault the RSC for most of the meal. However, the food was not up the standard I expected at times. The savoury selection and the scones were delicious. The selection of cakes and sweet treats was a bit hit and miss unfortunately. We very much enjoyed it all except for a couple of things. We mostly had a lovely afternoon tea but there are some areas to improve for the vegan option. We would come back again but maybe not order the same.

A pleasant afternoon tea with good service and good quality food as expected. The only down side was having to climb 3 flights of stairs due to the lift to which we were directed being out of order. We were not told that there was another lift in working order until we had reached the restaurant reception desk and complained about the climb up the stairs although the receptionist was very abrupt and seemed not to care.

The afternoon was very good and they catered to my dietary needs. Although my booking did not go through to them but luckily I called in to check some details and managed to book it in person.

Pleased to discover a place that offers vegan afternoon tea. The savoury and sweet selection was all tasty and there was plenty of different flavoured tea to try. Vibrant atmosphere with hen parties and family get togethers. I would come here again. Only thing to improve is service as it was slow and the floor was dirty when we were seated.
