Although this afternoon tea is more expensive than many, it was well worth it. First off, we loved the Bridgerton theme. We were promptly seated and waited on by several different staff members. The presentation of the tea and food was beautiful. The selection on teas were plentiful with very unique flavors such as chocolate brownie! The scones and clotted cream were delicious. The best part was we weren’t limited to one tea and one round of food. They were more than eager to have us try different teas and have more delectables as we ran out. If you want a first class afternoon tea experience, make your reservation for The Lanesborough!

We got asked questions if we wanted more items without knowing the context that they would add More to the bill even though the food items were okay to mediocre at best. It was bridgerton themes and it was advertised to play bridgerton music. There was no bridgerton music. Service was rude when I asked for explanation of the pastries. If you don’t want to explain just put the description in the menu duh

The scones were the best I have ever had. The Bridgerton tea was tastefully done without too much theming. The room for tea was stunning. I would highly recommend the experience to others.

Service was a real deception, we sat long time before anyone came to us. We did not get the correct tea we ordered Our tea came after 40 minutes after being seated

This was a present for my wife's 60th birthday. Although the train journey there and the delayed journey back from Bognor Regis did not spoil what was a truly wonderful experience. We were fortunate to be seated upstairs which was lovely and from which we got some great pictures. From initial contact with Nikolai to my end conversation with May all staff were very respectful. The food was to die for and too much to consume. We took a takeaway bag away with 2 scones as we were both full. I would like to have real tea leaves with strainer, however this is a small point. Hoping to go back for lunch one day.

I put in the comments before it was my girlfriend’s birthday but no cake or gift which was very disappointing. Food and service was good got charged for water thought it would be free. Had a much better experience at The Dorchester previously so will go there in future

The food was very good. I’m usually not a fan of Afternoon Tea desserts for lack of flavor, but that’s not the case here. The restaurant is beautiful. Issue was service was lacking. Everyone is polite but we never got our teas refilled and that’s a huge part of Afternoon Tea. The Bridgerton aspect of the tea was also very subtle. I think they could have done more with explanations.
