Afternoon Tea at the Brown Palace
Afternoon Tea at The Brown Palace is always superb! Great service, great food, and great tea!!
It was a lovely Wednesday afternoon high tea, elevated beyond the usual high tea experience due to the beautiful hotel and the pianist playing the grand piano throughout our entire tea time.
I can't wait to come back in December and enjoy another high tea during the Christmas season with my girlfriends!
For the price we paid it was 100% not worth it. The sandwiches were just blah and the bread was dry on one sandwich and soggy on the other. The desserts were pre made/ packaged. Our waiter didn’t refill our tea for us and didn’t ask till we were ready to leave. We have been multiple times and the service/ food has gone down hill. If you are charging so much for a tea I would expect better service and better food.
Fabulous High Tea‼️‼️. It’s always being memorable at THE BROWN PALACE💕💕💕💕
We love tea at Brown's Palace! Our service was a bit breast but otherwise as always, the food and tea were wonderful. The ambiance with perfect.
I chose Tea at the Brown to cap off a special vacation for someone dear and it did not disappoint. The service is friendly, gracious, knowledgeable about the many varieties of tea, and very attentive. The atmosphere is of course beyond compare and the grand piano player was the icing on that cake. The table settings are lovely. We enjoyed everything provided on the multi tiered server- delicious scones, finger sandwiches and a variety of sweets. The tea menu is amazing. And starting with a Kir never hurt anybody. Denverites, don’t forget how to dress up a tad and take yourselves and your guests to this iconic locale.
I was disappointed because I tried to increase my reservation and was rudely told it was impossible but there were a lot of empty tables during our entire lunch.
We celebrated my Birthday with tea at the Brown Palace. It was a wonderful afternoon!
First time doing afternoon tea and had a wonderful time. The food was great and the tea was AMAZING! Will absolutely be doing this again!
The Brown Palace takes us to a time when our society and culture were gracious and caring. The food was tasty and beautiful to see! The setting and service were lovely and my friends and I were very impressed with the perfect amount of attention by the staff! I wish I could do this more often, but it is a little far for me to do that! However, the memory will live on and I most certainly will return!!
I’ve been to tea at the Brown Palace a few times and always have a wonderful experience. The only reason I gave service 4 stars is because after being seated it was nearly 20 minutes before we were greeted by our server. After that they were all very attentive. The food was excellent as well, except for the bread on one variety of the finger sandwiches was rather dry.
There was no lemon curd for the scones. When asked they pointed to whipped butter. The tea pots would be better of China rather than metal which gets hit and hard to handle. I think the Brown Hotel in London dies it correctly. Ambience perfect
I have been to tea here many times, but this is the first time that the music has overpowered conversation. It was a jazz group (Starting at 4:30, my guess is because of happy hour overlap_) It would have bee much more appropriate to have the usual piano, which offers pleasant music and still allows us to hear each other.
It was something to do on a (holiday weekend) Friday afternoon. The tea selction....something for everyone.
Good service and lovely setting; however, the noise level was too high and made the experience less enjoyable.
I went with my mother, sister, and baby niece and it was a wonderful experience! All the staff was so welcoming and lovely, and they were wonderfully accommodating when it came to my baby niece! I would go there again definitely :) food and tea was DELICIOUS!
Amazing experience at this afternoon tea. My daughters first tea:)
We always have the best time when we have tea at the Brown Palace. This time was no exception.
We love Afternoon Tea at the Brown Palace - this time we have 5 in our group. I prefer having 2-3 people because you each get your own individual tea pots (rather than the 3 very large pots we got that were more difficult to pour) and a smaller table (rather than a large round table which made it difficult for us to share/reach the tea tray of sandwiches and desserts). It's always amazing there, and this time was no exception but I recommend to go with a 3 or less for a more intimate and enjoyable experience!
It is a very beautiful setting with great customer service. The food is delicious and the selection of teas is impressive.
I have to apologize now as we are horrible with names. Our host through wait staff and valet were amazing. Our server was female, H name, foreigner, dark hair. Just amazing!!! What a sweetheart & very kind, professional & all the above. Michael, dont ever let either one of them go, he is the same. We enjoyed our time so so much. Thank you. I mean thank you more than you know. We are looking forward to our return trip.
Service is great! Fun way to celebrate a birthday!!
This was my second time there and it was just as good as the first. The service is excellent and I love the scones. The pianist even played Happy Birthday for our friend. I would recommend this for all.
We have made a tradition, my daughters and I, to go have tea every year before school starts. I was a little thrown off when we left that after spending almost $200 on tea and sandwiches (that are lovely) that I was asked to pay for parking on top of that. Any other time I’ve been it’s been validated, as it is at every other hotel/restaurant that you eat at. I assume this is new because I don’t remember that from years past. I’m just so shocked that an hour in your hotel spending that kind of money you would still charge for parking.
Good for an experience, but not really worth the money. Food was sparse, but lovely. Service was wonderful. Great selection of teas! Elegant place setting. Carpet was surprisingly dirty and there are people walking in and out as they are checking in and out of their rooms. But, overall a pleasant experience.
Tea at the Brown Palace was fantastic. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. They didn't rush us off even after we had finished and were talking. The tea was the star and fantastic, as was the food and dessert. Would definitely recommend.
I love it and each time I take a friend. The choice of teas is excellent.
Took mom-in-law for a surprise b-day. It officially drew a tear. By far the classiest tea spot in Denver. Hotel is beautiful.
This was a lovely experience, although it is pricy. It's a one-of-a-kind event in a lovely 127-yr-old 'palace' you can't find anywhere else. I took my grandaughter from Vermont for her birthday. Something to remember
So lovely. It was our daughters birthday and they went above and beyond.
I treated my friend to afternoon tea as a bridal shower gift. This was my second time at the Brown Palace and both times I had a great experience! The food was delicious, and plentiful. They brought us a second plate of sandwiches and a second glass of champagne. All around it was a perfect afternoon.
My daughter turned 18 so we flew to Denver for short celebration.
The afternoon tea was amazing, but to make the whole experience unforgettable, we did the history tour. So worth the extra time.
So much fun to watch darling sons and daughters dressed up with their parents and grandparents! Just precious. Birthday celebrations too.
Afternoon Tea at the Brown Palace Hotel was so much fun! My family and I had a great time sipping tea, eating finger sandwiches and listening to the great music. Will definitely be back for this experience next time family or friends are in town.
As always, the ambiance is lovely and the piano music is a nice touch. The scones were tasty and the tea was delicious. But the service, oh the service...it is always so lackluster. Firstly, we had two servers wait upon us but neither followed up on our requests. We had to flag a server down twice - once to order alcoholic beverages for a couple of members of our party, and once to put in our tea order. They never brought us extra clotted cream as requested. When it was time to check out we had to wait a while for our server to return. If they could just fix the service, this would be a 5-star experience.
My mother brought me here when I was a child and I still remember like it was yesterday. I brought my daughter and both granddaughters. We had su h an amazing time. Now it will be a wonderful memory for them that I hope it lasts a lifetime.
Wonderful experience for my family. A touch of class in a lovely setting. The tea and the food were wonderful!!
Love the service, the music was amazing and food was delicious and of course love the tea and the champagne!
The people were work there are so amazing as always!
They even had the band play happy birthday for my niece.
