Food was above average. Hot which is very, important. It was just annoying to have to ask for soda refills again and again. Pitcher refused to be put on table and glass which was small, not able to increase size. Waitress seem exhausted about this as well. Had this not happened, 4 1/2 stars may have been the rating.
The food actually moved too fast- I felt rushed. You have great cocktails but rice pilaf is lacking.
It had been many years since I last visited this restaurant. I was happy to have gone back. The food was very tasty and the ambiance plesant. Our water glasses were always filled. The only downside was there was really to much food. I realize this is a good thing but we finished dinner and left looking like we just went shopping. We just had so much to take home.
Very good Mediterranean food and good Service We will be going back soon
The meals came to the table cold (the meat dishes, and the vegetables etc) . Lamb chops were ordered with mint jelly and the lamb chops (which were not done correctly were served and we were informed that they didn't have mint jelly as is not enough was ordered!
I love the Aegean but was disappointed on Saturday night when we were told that at 7:15 pm on a SATURDAY night - you were out of rack of lamb!!!!
Had a good experience in this restaurant. Great service, I'm not fan of the food but it just my personal preference . Over all I will recommend it
We tried a little bit of everything. The salads and the soup were great but the lamb knocked it out of the park! Grilled chicken souvlaki was so flavorful as well. Matt, our waiter was delightful. Will definitely return.
Six friends went for lunch. The food was very good. The presentation was very nice. The service was excellent. The prices we're reasonable.
Consistently excellent! Always go when I have a craving for broiled scallops. They are the best...cooked perfectly. Delicious salad and homemade bread with oil and feta...Yum!
Food and service were very good but no ambiance. Very noisy.
incredible grilled meats. Great place for lamb. This place is a neighborhood gem for sure. Never a disappointing meal. Consistently yummy.
We’ve been to Aegean several times and the food has always been great. This time it was less so. Not sure if it was because it was a busy Saturday night or what, but definitely it up to their usual standards. We will give another try, for sure.
In general l, the Greek salad has especially good feta. The spinach pie and potatoes never disappoints! Great for a date or extended family get together.
We frequent the Aegean often and are never disappointed. Authentic Greek fun and staff, I’m not Greek but my wife and guests are and the loved it here
As usual we enjoyed the food and service. Being in a booth was very helpful for
the hard of hearing person with us.
Very disappointed in the food. Greek salad was good but vegetables need to be cut up smaller.
Lamb appetizer was awful -- mostly fat. Overall we were not happy with our meal.
Having limited exposure to Greek food, but wanting to try something different, we went to Aegean to see if we liked it. Turns out we like Greek food and after years of thinking I hated stuffed grape leaves, all I needed to to was have some that are prepared properly. Bread with oil and feta was nice. The food was tasty, but pretty heavily salted. Everything was good.
The Aegean has a very pleasant atmosphere, most tables have some space around them, so you don't feel too packed in. Service was fine, and not intrusive. Food is excellent, but the portions tend to be large. So watch how many courses you order.
little pricey for what we got....
Food was excellent, waitress was awkward asked for a glass with ice and she looked at me like I had offended her. Also tried to help lift the plates so she wouldnt need to reach and she rudely told me to put it down. Very unpleasant person and unexpected
Went to Aegean after a few years. Sat in the bar first waiting for friends. I made a reservation with note that we were celebrating friend’s 30th anniversary, and requested a nice table (which was the whole point of making reservation to begin with). We got a ok table. Service was lukewarm. I don’t think my expectation was too far fetched when I hoped the dessert will come with a candle to make the night memorable as my note did say it was a anniversary dinner!? Anyway - maybe this is the reason Aegean doesn’t stand out as impeccable service provider. just my experience in few sentences!
As always, good food served graciously in a very pleasant atmosphere.
Bread and olive oil - feta cheese dip was great. Salad was very good. Shrimp scampi was excellent. Martini was watered down by the time I got it.
Great food and wonderful service. The rack of lamb was outstanding!
This was the worst meal ever.... service was horrible, and food worse. We were seated and then waited 30 minutes for the bread to come out, only to have the waiter say someone took ours. Asked for kids meal to come out fast and it did, 45 minutes later. Wouldn't even recommend this place to an enemy. We complained to waiter and hostess who couldn't have cared less. No management there so no one senior to handle poor service or food issues.
Had a great time here. Only issue was we were left unattended to multiple times for a very long time.
Went there to celebrate a birthday and noted that on the reservation. The waitress was never told. Limited choice for a dessert to put a candle in as we wanted something gluten free so ordered a vanilla ice cream and a chocolate ice cream from the menu. Waitress came back to the table to say they were out of vanilla ice cream. Very disappointing.
I always enjoy the lamb kabobs. A friend enjoyed her lamb ribs and green beans. The roasted potatoes are also the best. My wife enjoyed her shrimp and scallop kabobs. The other entree ordered was a very ample Greek sampler plate.
While our meal was good, it was not up to their usual standard. Our service was only average and the size of my daughters salad with salmon was on the small side. It was much nicer that previous few times we were there. We will go back again to see if it is better the next time.
Aegean is fairly consistent. The menu has many different options to meet everyone's needs, The presentation is nice and the portions are a good size. The prices are moderate.
We had dinner on a Saturday night. Very quiet, not many tables filled. Wine glasses are very small - wine was good, but for almost $10.00 just not much of it. Grape leaves are very big, overstuffed and hearty.... not sure that should be grape leave qualities?? Would have preferred more than 4, just smaller. Great bread dip of oil and feta. Mixed seafood plate bland... very unappealing to look at, with small bits of each fish, no pizzaza here. Tasted ok - but a strong smell of "fish" when it was served. Spinach pie was oversized, ate about less than 1/4. Lemon "roasted" potatoes were a whole potato, boiled and quartered - no sign of any "roasting" going on. Not thrilled overall, probably won't return. Service was adequate.
I had the trout, steamed broccoli and salad. All were very good. The server was very pleasant and had to be reminded to bring water and extra lemons which we had requested.
Important to know that I certainly will return to this restaurant.
The restaurant is nice and spacious. The parking is large. The food selection is tasty. The rack of lamb is tender, and nicely grilled to rare and medium rare. The seafood is fresh, and well cooked. The cocktail selection is well made. The service is prompt and attentive. The ambiance is warm and quiet.
Everything was excellent! I would say that the food came out a bit too quickly as we hadn't finished our salad before the entree was there. We would absolutely go again - delicious meal!!
The food here is really tasty. From the bread and oil to the Scallops. I loved the taste of the rice with the sauce they put on it.
Very average meal. Very good wait person. Good for families. Fair prices.
Overall everything was very good. We were a party of six and we all ordered the lamb riblets. My dish was supposed to be medium rare and they were not at all pink. The waitress was nice and took them back and brought me some larger pieces of lamb that were cooked perfectly. My husband (who absolutely loves this entree had more bones than meat. He chose not to send them back. The waitstaff was lovely; the receptionist was lovely. and accommodating. My husband has a hearing problem and they let him go to the table to make sure that he could hear with the lively conversations in the room. We brought a cake for our anniversaries and the waitress brought it out with a candle and plates. Great experience.
Very limited menu for vegans. Not. Too much on healthy menu
Aegean is one of our favorites. This was a dual birthday celebration. Did not disappoint.
