Great restaurant. Beautiful ambiance, really good menu selection and value. Only thing lacking was live entertainment. Will certainly visit again!
Last Sunday was my first time at Adelphia, I usually initiative to have a reservation, and that played well in my favor because when we arrived everything went smoothly. I was definitely impressed with the staff with the environment with the food and the service. I would definitely recommend it to my friends, and I definitely plan on coming again. Thank you for an enjoyable experience. Craig
Adelphia has an amazing brunch buffet with all of the favorites that one can imagine. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. My only disappointment was that I had to wait for a table in spite of making reservations ahead of time. If you go though, definitely make a reservation. It is very busy at brunch time.
Had reservations at twelve didn’t get seated till 12:37
I was there for brunch and some of the food was very slow to restock on the buffet. Some items were run out of and not re filled.
Sunday Brunch is always enjoyable. Plenty of great options to choose.
Always a favorite. The food is actually very good for a fair price. I had a salad with shrimp and scallops, and it was delicious.! Our waiter was so nice! Next up was dancing!... The music was great and there was a mix of older and younger crowd. Fun night, and we will be back!
the steak special oven fired was tough rib eye bone in also
red steak knife was a joke
Adelphia Restaurant has been our 'Go To' venue for quite some time as a date night, an afternoon enjoyment, and dinner before the Walnut Street Theatre. We travel 45 minutes from the shore just to eat here because of the selection, the quality of food, service and ambiance. The experience has been enhanced by the frequent dining card and the reward provided through a survey offer.
However, we've noticed and are upset by recent changes...most notably, increased costs and fewer offerings. There is now a $2 up charge when selecting a Caesar Salad (which hasn't changed in any discernible way), and meals that previously included soup AND salad have transitioned to soup OR salad.
Additionally, the menu has been trimmed down eliminating some of our favorites (i.e. Chicken Francaise).
There's always a good deal of patrons regardless of the hour, and with the banquet facilities, the bar scene, and all the special events offered by Adelphia, we find it curious that these changes are deemed necessary. The service this time out also left us a bit bewildered as it was slow and less attentive. I traditionally rated service and food quality as exceptional. Dining rooms were not particularly busy and ample staff was in attendance. So I wondered a bit about the kitchen help.
I will still recommend Adelphia Restaurant, but I may be reducing the number of my visits going forward.
Treated horrible by ownership
Looking for a good brunch spot? This is the place. Good variety. Nice service. Pleasant surrounding.
We had to wait over 30 minutes past our reservation time because...as the hostess explained...they get too busy to update the OpenTable app and they weren't able to accommodate our reservation. She said "you wouldn't have had this problem if you just called". Then don't participate in OpenTable if you can't handle it! Very disappointed. It's loud, disorganized, and poorly managed. We won't be back!
Food was average dinner food. We spent a long afternoon with old friends and the servers did not rush us. The two servers which we had were fabulous. Worth the trip for the service.
Loved this place! The food and atmosphere were fabulous and the portions were large!
Service was good, but the ambiance was boring, music was bad and the food wasn’t that great
Very Disappointed. Food was not hot or even lukewarm. I knew they had a brunch for which they never advise you of a price? Do not offer choice to order off a menu. Will not do this again ($50.00 with tip for 2 people for breakfast)
Huge portions and always delicious. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Always a go-to!!
It was very nice enjoyed my daughrers birthday a lot
My food had a gigantic hair cooked into the burger. My husband's chicken marsala was cold. I got pork sliders for an appetizer and they were very spicy I couldn't eat them. The potatoe skins had an abundance of melted cheese on them. You couldn't taste the potato at all. My son got chicken parm and the sauce was also very spicy it was burning his tonque. And I was very disappointed that you don't serve some kind of alfredo sauce or 4 four sauce for people who would like to have pasta but can't eat red sauce due to stomach issues. It's not the first, second or third time that I was very unsatisfied with the food. MY family will not be eating there anymore.
I'm staying here from Florida for a while and this is my favorite restaurant so far in New Jersey I come here a lot, Reservations were made not even 24 hours in advance for a party of 12, they accommodated us with great service ! Everyone's meal was exactly what they ordered, the cheesecake is delicious, the prices are excellent, and they have an extensive drink menu . The restaurant itself itself is very unique looking able to accommodate large groups with their own rooms they have upstairs and outside patio, I also bring my kids on Tuesdays they get big meals free with the purchase of an adult meal and that includes their dessert and drinks.
It was perfect!! Three girlfriends were able to sit and talk and no one bothered us!! It as awesom
As always, Adelphia's Sunday Brunch is hands down, the best. They easily accommodated us because we had children, and made the visit both pleasant and pleasurable. Erika (waitress) and the rest of the wait staff tended to our needs perfectly.
Been there a number of times. Everything was awesome. I would make a reservation everytime we would go there.
wanted to reserve a table for the NYEve party. Turns out the open table registration was NOT for reserving a table for the party. It was for the restaurant part, not the bar part, even though they serve food in both the bar and restaurant. I wish they were clearer with their advertisement. All in all we still had a good time!
Every time my friends & I go there for dinner, brunch, breakfast or lunch, our dining experience has always been top notch. From the service to our dining experience, it has always been the best in all categories.
First time eating at Adelphia's; food was very good; prices are good; service was excellent and food served very quickly on New Year's Eve.
Always a good place to go to to with friends and familu
Perfect table, waitress, and menu for the start of our New Year’s celebration. Our party of six enjoyed a great meal, with a nice variety of food selections for our yearly gathering! We will be back!
I never felt so rushed. Our appetizer Arrived & literally 3 minutes later the salads & soups were brought. I never even had the chance to eat my salad when the dinners arrived. Everything was so rushed I never enjoyed anything. On a good note, our server was wonderful & apologetic for the rush.
Did not like desserts at all. Ordered three different ones and did not care for any 😢
The food and service was excellent! We eat here frequently and have never been disappointed
Great meal! We really enjoyed ourselves
The house salad was horrible but the food was pretty good. Love the service and the setting. Definitely will return but I’ll be getting the Ceaser salad next time. Lol
Waitress was poor. Food was excellent, quick table.
All I can say is it was the first time my family was there,it was Christmas Eve, and they made it such a perfect evening for us. The food, service and atmosphere was just perfect. I recommend this restaurant, go try it out.
I took my family there for and early Christmas Eve dinner. The food was fabulous. I had the porterhouse steak, my daughter had the rib eye, my son-in-law had a pasta dish and my grandson had pizza. The steaks were prepared perfectly and very tender. It wasn't easy finding a really nice restaurant that serves pizza for my children. Our waiter was excellent and was very attentive. We will definitely go back again and this will now be our place of choice for Christmas Eve dinner.
Adelphia never disappoints. The food is excellent and the waitstaff is friendly , knowledgeable, and capable.
The place was packed- Sunday brunch 2 days before Christmas. Our waitress was wonderful, warm, friendly, authentic.
To expensive and to loud
