Adele's Ratings and Reviews
Food was good, not great. We asked for steak to be well done because my wife just had our baby and my mother also doesn't like raw meat. Both steaks were sent out medium rare. The lighting was low and they didn't realize until a few bites in. We didn't have time to send it back because we only get about an hour out of the house with him before the baby loses it. I know sometimes chefs get offended by people asking for meat to be well done but staff and chefs should be more conscience of this.
Food was good and service was great. We ordered the cauliflower salad as an appetizer and it was really good! A little too much dressing on it, but very very tasty! I had the chicken, one of us ordered a steak, and one had the duck. Everyone was extremely happy with their food. We also shared the brussels sprouts.
The ambiance of this restaurant is very cool, very open, and food was served quickly. I will definitely eat here again and highly recommend it. I do wish they had ate couple healthier appetizer options, but cannot complain.
Food was not very good and entree portions very small. Everything was ala carte. For $28 I got about 4-5 small strips of a grizzly strip steak. The others dining with me were equally unimpressed. I would take a pass on this one. Far better restaurants in Nashville and the Gulch.
Cool ambience, fantastic service and everything our table ordered was delicious. We started with olives, bruschetta (delightfully different), trout dip and the finely chopped and spherically presented kale salad that was of shareable size. Then we had the chicken specialty, pork entree and gnocchi that almost melts in your mouth and was combined with root veg (even turnips that I normally don't like but really enjoyed). A side of brussel sprouts were perfectly roasted and also shareable portion size. Chocolate mousse was a rich temptation you don't want to miss so save room for dessert. Great wine selection, local beers (served with a pony, not a pint, glass) and seasonal cocktails. The service was as phenomenal as the food and drinks. Make a reservation and enjoy!!
Excellent food, waitstaff and reception were very friendly. Smaller menu, but something for everyone at our table, kale salad was excellent and crispy shrimp as welll as the main courses. Only down side was it was a bit loud when the place filled up. Somewhat to be expected.
Went here for brunch by the recommendation of a friend. Wow! What a great experience. The food was absolutely amazing. From the kale salad to the fresh pastries, to the whole pig, every bite was met with a look to my better half of pure culinary delight. Just when we thought we had our fill, we sampled dessert. The Budino was the best I ever had. The banana pudding was phenomenal. If we weren’t here just for vacation, we would be here every week for this truly delicious meal and great experience.
Best brunch in Nashville. We have been to Adele's for dinner. As good /great as dinner was, the brunch was even better. There were many many choices for brunch and I wish my stomach was big enough to try them all. We need to go back so I can try the items we had to pass on.
The food was just OK. The squash gnocchi had a weird sauce that did not go with the rest of the dish - I couldn't finish it. The service was very lackluster; the food took forever to be brought out without explanation and we were rarely checked on. Also, the music was ridiculous and bounced back and forth from being super loud with reverb to barely audible. If I hadn't had a better experience at a previous visit, I would never go back based on this one. I'll probably give it one more try, but that's it.
Incredibly friendly staff who clearly enjoy the food they serve! We had the crispy shrimp and pigs' ears-both were amazing. My entree, the tagliatelle, was outstanding! My husband was less happy with his steak (disappointing). Both desserts were soooooo good!
We went to Adele's for Thanksgiving, there were just 3 of us, but we all loved the food and wine..I don't eat meat, but I didn't even miss it, cause they had some of the best vegetables I've ever eaten! My bf and friend said the turkey was incredible..Joel gave us great service, and they had the best chess pie! Loved it..
Enjoyed a nice dinner on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We had a party of four and only one of us of been there before. Adele’s has a nice atmosphere and interesting decor.Service was a bit slow for a restaurant that was not that crowded while we were there. Two great appetizers of trout dip and meatballs. One person ordered the cheeseburger for dinner, but was not asked how they would like it cooked, and it came out well done with very little cheese, Which is not the way she would have ordered it, had she been given a choice. The JW chicken, the grilled steak, and the pork loin were all very good.
My son and I went here the night before Thanksgiving. Waitress was very informative and friendly. Had the olives and kale salad for appetizers. Very yummy. Nice hip vibe inside. Our entrees were the gnocchi and tagliatelle. My gnocchi was delish, served piping hot , had kinda of a sweet/sour flavor going on. I tried my son's tagliatelle, it was lukewarm at best. I said to him "it's kinda cold"...he replied "yes but it tastes good". He was in the Marines and is used to eating MREs so would never complain. A little disappointed on his dish but overall good experience.
I had high expectations after reading such good reviews and having a friend recommend the restaurant to me. I didn't love or hate it.. just didn't do much for my husband or me. I likely need to give it another try. Seems a better option for a group of friends than for a couple dining out.
I can not say enough about how great the Sunday brunch is. The service was great and all of the offerings on the brunch buffet were excellent and all freshly prepared. The only downside is waiting in line for the buffet...but, the food is well worth waiting for.
This restaurant was recommended to us by some friends and it did not disappoint. We had the olives and forgot your bread, kale salad, and the duck for dinner. I felt like the salad in the appetizers were under priced and the dinners were overpriced. With that being said, everything was great.. The duck was the best I’ve ever had anywhere. And the salad was phenomenal and very splittable between two people. Would definitely recommend just mentioned that the dinners are a little pricey for what you get. On a sidenote, the red wine selection was not very big but they offered was good.
