Heirloom tomato and melon salad was refreshing and delicious. Gnocchi was tender and light. Duck confit not the best but overall a good dinner experience. They seasoned the salad and gnocchi with cayenne so a few bites took us by surprise. Luckily we love spicy. Will return on our next visit to Nashville.
Extremely loud atmosphere, good seasonal menu, expensive drinks
Extraordinary food. A must if you are visiting Nashville.
Food was good but the service timing was off. Salad came out immediately and drinks took 15 minutes at least for each round we ordered.
Great food in a cool location. Solid pick for a family meal or a group of friends.
Fun place with a great vibe! Good for groups. Takes reservations as well as walk ins. Would definitely go back.
Traveling from out of town and went here on a recommendation from a co-worker. Was beyond pleased! From the shrimp appetizer tall the way to the coconut cake, this place was great, and I travel a ton and eat all over. Highly recommend
Excellent food and service
I usually enjoy going to Adele's. This last experience was not the best visit. Our service was painfully slow, and the food was mediocre. I wish it had been otherwise. We had invited a friend and thought we would impress her.
I have intended to check out Adele’s for quite sometime as I have heard great things about it. Our reservation was for 5:45 pm and we were a few minutes late due to traffic. I had called to inform them of this and they were very accommodating. Our server was amazing however our drinks came out “piece meal”. One of our party has severe allergies to hot peppers and spice and the server was very understanding and asked the chef regarding the food option available without the allergen. That being said, when the appetizers finally arrived (about 35 minutes later) an appetizer that was said to be “safe” was brought out covered in paprika. We decided not to bring it up because we had ordered other appetizers as well. The member of our party with the allergies ultimately only ordered two sides as her meal bc after the paprika showed up in the food despite extensive explanation of the allergy she did not feel like “chancing” a trip to the ER. During this time the restaurant went from almost empty to all table sat. I’m not sure if they were adequately staffed or just unable to handle to dinner rush because it took over an hour for us to get our meals which finally came about 730. We had to rush to finish our food as we had concert tickets and had to leave to make the event by 8pm. I have no qualms in paying $$$-$$$$ for quality food, and It may have been partly due to our rushed experience, but I was also very underwhelmed with our meal in comparison to the price. I’ve heard they do a great brunch. I may give them another shot.
Three friends had a nice quiet dinner with attentive service and great food.
We were cutting things fine as we had a show to attend. The waitress was very helpful and was able to expedite our order. Great restaurant, great server and the food was fantastic.
Sunday brunch is our favorite!!!!!! They have something for everyone. Kale, shrimp, eggs, bacon, chicken, bbq, and banana pudding for a group of us or just the two of us.
The food was good and I enjoyed the atmosphere.
Our waiter was so helpful with drinks and food. He explained it all and it did not disappoint. Highly recommended.
The best veggie pizza I have ever eaten and the appetizers r equally as good
Food was too salty
The ambiance was dark & menu text too small
Server was haughty and unwilling to accommodate
Sent back gnocchi over cooked and salty to uneatable
Manger did take the dish off the bill & offered replacement, even gave a complimentary dessert...
Sum: food was okay (example: polenta great, meatball okay, sauce was off...80% there)—but salty!!! The ambiance was dark and slightly confused, but the space is choice!! And the server was unyielding (posh restaurant disease??) but the customer service & willingness to make right was 4*
Absolutely fantastic! We had a great time and everyone was thrilled with their meal. Will definitely eat at Adele's again the next time I'm in Nashville.
Party of 8 celebrating a graduation!!! Perfect!
Outstanding! The food. The staff — If I could give the staff 10 stars, I would. One of my best experiences in Nashville.
Arrived promptly for our reservation but had a short (15-min) wait. Got drinks at the bar - cocktails were rather high priced. Once seated, our server was fabulous -- friendly, helpful, spot-on with recommendations. It was our anniversary, so he brought complementary glasses of prosecco. He recommended the crispy shrimp and heirloom tomato salad for appetizers, and both were outstanding. Perfectly prepared and portioned. When ordering entrees, we opted for trout (his recommendation) and duck confit, which was the only dish he named as a weak one on the menu, but my wife loves duck and doesn't often have the opportunity to eat it. We should have listened; it wasn't bad, but it was just average. The trout was perfectly cooked, but the bed of chow-chow was a bit heavy on the vinegar. We also ordered a side of their highly recommended roasted potatoes--quite possibly the best we've ever had. Finally, the budini dessert was chocolate nirvana. Aside from the overpriced cocktails, Adele's offers terrific value given the food quality. We'll be back!
Always a great dinner experience at Adele’s. Our waitress was excellent.
Adele’s is always fantastic!
Entree’s are a bit pricey for a casual lunch, but food and service was excellent.
Great place to entertain a business client.
The restaurant is very chic modern. We enjoyed the atmosphere and had a very attentive server. However 2 of our party of 4 ordered pork chops which were tough- they offered to redo them but we were already midway into dinner.
The other 2 had the red fish(very good) and duck confit, which was a skimpy portion. We got the
side of broccoli with pecans and bacon which was delicious but caused great stomach problems the next day. The Manager was very good and comped us a wonderful chocolate dessert. Not sure we would return.
The service is great. I have visited twice and have been fortunate to have the same server both times. She was pleasant and attentive.
The food is delicious and fairly priced.
The bruch at Adele's is second to none. It was delicious as usual!
Food was good. My entree came out quite late but it was complimentary. Wouldn’t personally recommend the bruschetta. The potato side was excellent. The duck was also excellent, as well as the gnocchi and the steak. Service was excellent
Very good!! Shout out to our server Matthew! He was excellent and very knowledgeable about the food and recommendations
Loved sharing lunch with my wife at Adele’s. Great burger and steak salad
Had my sons and daughter in law to dinner for a nice meal. I found food interesting but not exquisite and it was pretty expensive
Traveling from out of town for business: Not looking for a tourist place but local venue with local chefs. Adele’s hit all the marks. If I good give the establishment a Six I would. Great food, great service, great experience. All I could ask for.
We arrived just before opening and were surprised that a restaurant with such notoriety would be so slow at 5:00. Immediately, we saw staff removing service from an adjacent space, leading us to think we were in for disappointment.
Instead, we found service quick and knowledgeable of the menu. Our tartare was excellent and enjoyed the bruschetta apps. Entrees of ribeye and the new gnocchi recipe were top notch. Waitress collected feedback on the gnocchi—said it was recently modified and they had some feedback it was too spicy...it Wasn’t!
Enjoyed desert too. Would easily plan a return on my next trip to Nashville!
I've just never had a bad experience! If someone is going somewhere other than Adele's for Sunday brunch, they are just wrong.
Great food, service and drinks. Cool building and view of downtown.
Great food, highly recommend for a night out!
We had the pork chop and chicken. Our guests split the Redfish. All were overcooked and not very flavorful. The dining room was very noisy but it was a busy Saturday night. Lot's of options to choose from in Nashville. Next time I will try another place.
Bougie restaurant, very pricey, $30 for a skinny carafe of mimosa, food was good. Waiter allowed us to split a cheeseburger 4 ways and we ordered appetizers. Clean, friendly atmosphere, busy. No complaint other that the prices we really outrageous.
Fantastic and original
