I read the reviews and was excited to go! I was not disappointed! Bloody Outstanding!! Our waiter was knowledgeable, when I asked where the wine and food was sourced, He had the answer. From Portugal by the way. The food was mouthwatering. We are foodies and we travel alot. I am a very good cook, so i'm very picky. Personally, I can't wait to go back. The waiter recommended the Grilled Octopus (it was the evenings special) it was incredible!

Fish dishes (fish stew and seafood risotto) were fresh and tasty. Amuse-bouche was a nice touch. Servers were friendly and attentive. Bread could have been a little fresher but it was a very good meal.

The service was great, the food and wine were tasty but a little pricy. $17 for a 9oz of wine!? Geez. We've been to Portugal so it was kind of reminiscent of there. Fun place to go.

Pleasant place and excellent service plus you’re welcomed with delicious bread and oil and a bowl of black olives After ordering they send a comp app However I was disappointed with their signature dish Fish Stew. It comes in a big casserole but although the menu lists many components it is mostly lots of salmon and squid. Shrimp was listed as an ingredient but it was left out of my dish They did comp me with some biscotti to apologize but I looked forward to the shrimp and more varieties of fish. Other than that it was a nice dinner and I might try again but order something else.

Very charismatic waiter, quickly service. The octopus was good , but the other time that I went was better. The waiter suggested a wine that we liked, but before that we tried to chose 2 from the wine list that they were out.

This was our second time there as a couple and we took friends on vacation from the UK.
Staff once again were very courteous and helpful.
Helped my wife with a great choice of wine just based upon a description.
Food was top notch and I will be back.

Beautiful experience! This was for my boyfriend’s birthday and we both enjoyed our meal, the service and the atmosphere very much. Our waiter was very attentive, the food was delicious, fresh and generous. I am vegetarian and he is a seafood lover and we were both able to find good options. This is a seafood lover’s paradise. Servings are very generous so when we go back, we will not order appetizers! Delicious Portuguese sour bread and cured olives are more than enough before an entrée. We were very full!

We immensely enjoyed our evening at Adega.

The complimentary olives we enjoyed with the assortment of breads while we waited for our meals.

The cod fish small bites were very good.

The grilled octopus was awesome!

The fish stew was very filling and enjoyable.

And, to finalize, the staff were very helpful, always checking in on us.

Thank you, Adega, for a wonderful evening. We left with stomachs very full, lol.

First visit was for lunch! Liked the menu on line and decided to give it a try. Was not far away and actually arrived before my reservation did!! Server recommended a great bottle of Portuguese white. Feature salad was tomato, avocado, fresh herbs and was delicious. They bring amazing marinated black olives as you get settled, salty, spicy, slightly sweet, really great!!! We had the grilled calamari and grilled octopus entrees and both were fantastic. Both exceptionally tender accompanied by sautéed beans, roasted potatoes and sautéed kale! Great flavours no uneccesary breading. Cooked perfectly! Can’t wait to return for dinner!

This is definitely an 8/9 out of 10 quality restaurant. I found the appetizer (Sardines) salty - everything else was top notch. Service was slow at the beginning and I was impressed that our server was able to soon pick up on our ques - when to be left alone and when to approach us.
I will be back!

Our friends treated my wife and I to a Summerlicious dinner here because of its ratings. We knew the menu would be restricted, but didn't realize that the portions would be shrunken. But, even though size matters, taste and service matter more... neither were impressive. Now, it seems to me that Summerlicious provides opportunities for restaurants to win new fans, and would bring their 'A game' to the occasion. Didn't happen! Not only were the portions small, there preparation was inconsistent. The appetizers were nothing special... a very ordinary seafood bisque for three of us... can't remember the other. Two of us ordered the Dorada (Sea Bream)... one portion was twice the size of the other, and the smaller one was overcooked, dry and tasteless. The fish was served on a bed of coriander risotto that might as well have been Uncle Ben's microwavable white rice... with a miniscule bit of coriander... essentially tasteless. A third member of our party had an under-seasoned, overcooked pork chop, with a tiny smear of sauce. To be fair, she did appreciate the small mound of mashed potatoes, but not the under-cooked cubes of carrot. The desserts continued the tiny, imperfect theme... a Weight Watchers-sized sliver of lemon cheesecake, an almost-not-there foamy meringue with a small drizzle of caramel sauce and a supermarket-grade sorbet cup. Again, our fourth guest can't recall his dessert. What topped off our experience was an argumentative waiter who couldn't let go of a comment one of our party made about legalizing marijuana... a debate that started because our friend made a lame joke about not paying in cash (you had to be there to understand.) Anyway, none of us could figure out why Adega gets so many high ratings but, then again, that certainly wasn't our experience. Very disappointing... won't be back.

Service was good but food was just ok. We were not aware that they were serving the summerlicious menu only until we arrived. It was very disappointing because we wanted to order from the regular menu as the summerlicious options were sub par. They were also out of the wine options we picked from the list. They should inform people ahead of time when reservations are made that they are not serving the regular menu. Being that it was a Friday evening, it would be difficult to find another location to celebrate our anniversary last minute. We won’t be back.
