This was our first experience to a Michelin Star rated restaurant. It was an amazing experience and we came away impressed. Chef William Bradley is the man! Look forward to go hear a different time of year to experience a completely new menu! In addition the wine paring was on point. Tried different wines and regions I was not accustomed too. The service was a choreographed symphony!
Wonderful service, wonderful food! Highly recommend!
We did not care for the main course which was rare , tough squab.
We did not eat this as I never think rate poultry is safe and it wasn’t good anyway. Although we expressed our disappointment with is main course , no other course was substituted and there was no adjustment to the bill.
Otherwise the food was interesting and wonderful.
Service was phenomenal and setting/ ambiance hard to beat .
Perfect setting, service, and 10-course meal, artfully and deliciously designed!
A fantastic meal and impeccable service! Thank you to all for an exquisite evening. - Matthew Griffith
Just WOW! The seating arrangements they have due to the COVID tier restrictions was great!!! You get a view of the golf course along with the hot air balloons in the distance going up and down.
Our reservations were at 6 PM and the weather was perfect. You can expect a little chill since the coast isn’t too far but the way they had their patio heaters setup, it didn’t even feel cold.
Service was flawless! Well organized and choreographed to the “T”! You went to the bathrooms, there was a service staff standing near to show you where it is. You come back to your table, they are there to greet you back and push in you chair. Like I said...their service was flawless! They were always there ready to serve.
The food was delicious! Presentation of the food was beautiful and elegant. The service staff explained every dish to you so you’re not sitting their guessing. The flavors coming from each dish were mind blowing. We would almost dissect each dish to guess the flavors for each item and it was a fun challenge for me and the missus. We still talk about the food to this day!
We are definitely coming back!!! Such a beautiful place and great food!
Best experience ever! We did the 10 course tasting menu, so creative and such unique and delicious flavors. The service was the best I have ever experienced. The whole dinner was incredible!
Amazing clientele relations & love that they call in advance to ask about dietary restrictions or preferences. We truly feel they went above & beyond in helping me celebrate my fiancé’s birthday. An extraordinary experience.
So I’m in SD 3-4 time a year visiting family every year & I’ve been trying to take wife to Addison for the past year and a half. Of course the pandemic happened and pushed our 1st dining experience with Chef Bradley and his crew to April 2021 and they did not disappoint. We enjoyed the 10 course meal and it was utterly the most spectacular meal that we’ve had in years. All of the flavors popped and went together perfectly! The service provided by the team was impeccable and all of the members were friendly and sociable. The environment was breathtaking with the sunset occurring midway through our meal. I recommend that anyone who has the opportunity to take advantage and enjoy this experience!
We had a lovely evening at Addison for a birthday celebration. Everything was beautiful and over the top from the greeting to the choreographed service, the food and matching wine pairings, to the morning granola gift. Thank you Addison we will return again.
I’ve been to a lot of Michelin started restaurants with my travels and I was really excited about visiting Addison. The ambiance, scenery and service were fantastic. The food on the other hand was, meh. When you pay $200 for a 5 course menu you should get something more than squab, which was gamy, for the end entree. The preceding 4 course were also so uninspired that my wife and I had a hard time remembering what they were. The sourdough was fantastic as was the opening appetizer course and the desserts. Maybe when the restaurants are open to full capacity it will be better.
Addison is always amazing. Beautiful views and beautiful food. One of the best in San Diego.
Place beautiful, service amazing, great ambiance, food presentation A+. Just food didn’t live up to my pallet for the price not worth it to me.
Food was too ‘over the top’ odd, way too pricey for what we had. Disappointed.
Stunningly balanced flavors, great service and an awesome sommelier. Definitely a 5 star experience. They make their dishes with love and you can tell that a lot of thought and effort goes into it. If I would have any feedback, its that we were congratulated for my promotion and immediately offered champagne (before water). We didn't know the cost of what was offered. Later we realized it was the most expensive glass of wine on their menu. We would have appreciated seeing the wine list first. But I am still giving a 5-star review as they corrected the misunderstanding.
This was by far the best dinner experience my wife and I have ever had. From the food to the service to the atmosphere everything was absolutely top notch. Thank you so much to the Addison team for providing this extraordinary experience. We can’t wait to come back
It was good, but I'm surprised they have a star. Food was really good, but a few courses were sub-par (the signature squab was actually not very good at all). Service was spotty, with many lapses in etiquette and a terrible mix-up on the wine pairing. But to be clear, it WAS a very impressive meal. Just when compared to other starred restaurants, and at Addison's price point, I would expect a bit more polish and attention to detail. And I felt like there were too many "upsale" attempts, which was rather gauche.
Very comfortable experience, even outdoors. Heaters were sufficient, but should have a warm jacket or coat handy. The food is still the focus for a delightful evening.
Food and service was great! Loved the view! Would recommend
Everything was great! Probably the best fine dining experience I've had in San Diego.
My only wish is they list prices on a menu or paper when you get there. Even 3 Michelin star restaurants I've dined at still list their prices for you to see, so you can make an informed decision before ordering. My wife seconded that.
Wonderful culinary experience. Unexpected taste combinations that really worked. Service exemplary. Highly recommended.
The dining experience at Addison is consistently top notch, it is our favorite spot to celebrate our anniversary every year. Of course, we dine here several times during the the year for special getaways.
Another amazing experience at Addison! On par with any 3 star Michelin restaurant. Sarah and her team were excellent!
Just an evening celebrating bro g able to go out
Overall dining experience and service were great. The only thing was it was still quite cold outside even though they had a heater installed on the ceiling. I will come back when they have a menu change next season.
Excellent food and service, well worth the price to my opinion
Amazing. Service and food was top notch!
It was a great experience! Amazing food and ambiance!
Amazing, its an awesome and delicious experience
Excellemt food and ambiance. Be ready to expend a lot of money. But very well worth it...
Fantastic experience with fantastic service and fantastic food
My husband and I have been here twice. If you have been, definitely must try! The service, the food, and the ambiance is just so spectacular and unforgettable. If you are looking for the best food in Sand Diego and a romantic date, this is the place to be. We’ll for sure go back! We love Addison staff, and looking forward to meeting Chef Bradly when we visit again! ❤️
service as good as 3 star in france. Food unique, with King Crab and Waygu quality best. too long for a 5 course menu, can do 8-10 at Troisgros in 3+ hours.
as a serious wine collector who has most of the Burgundy's on your list, had to be careful to not bring one because paying half of your wine list price is stupid.
Corkage of $110 is fine. Upcharge on Paul Bara rose silly.
Addison is where I chose to celebrate my company's 5th anniversary. Normally, we go away on a staff retreat but because of COVID-19, I wanted a way to honor my team and to be safe. So Addison was the perfect choice. We sat outside, ate a delicious and leisurely 10-course meal. The food was equally beautiful and memorably delicious. Sarah and Sean and their team provided excellent service and made us all feel very special. Thank you to the whole Addison team. Chef William Bradley outdid himself again. I highly recommend Addison as the "go to" place to commemorate special occasions.
Dinner was fantastic and probably the best I've ever had. Highly recommend Addison to anyone!
very good, maybe worth it's michelin star. service was excellent.
but probably the worst value in dining i've experienced in a long time. portions are TINY. as in the fish course is smaller than most amuse bouche. main protein course (both the wagyu and squab) were no more than 4 small bites. yikes.
with 1 wine pairing, tip, and upgrades (truffles, wagyu) was $1000 even. been there, not going back.
It was only my second time visit Addison but like the first time it was a very pleasurable experience.
The service was exceptional and the food in my opinion is the best non Mexican inspired food that I have had in all of San Diego.
I went here for my birthday and the only thing I would change is to include my family and friends.
It is quite expensive, but the culinary experience is something you will never forget.
I will say it is more of a bourgeois dining experience so if you’re not into that then this not not the place for you.
It is not worth for the value versus investment. The food was ok. The hard bread with butter, tangy taste on foods and food quantity was not enough. We were hungry after the 10 course meal.
