Loved it! Great food, great ambiance and dog friendly :)
Just really slow overall, nice atmosphere, food was average but the food took 1.5 hours to come out. We were all pretty hangry
Wonderful ambiance, food, cocktails, and service!
The staff was nice and the outside area was pretty, but the service is spotty and they don't seem to pay attention. I came here with my husband to celebrate his birthday, and the best part was honestly the complimentary water. The Mediterranean Salad had absolutely zero Mediterranean flavors; I could have found a better salad at a Bronx corner deli with more flavor and more freshness honestly. In addition to this, the flatbread my husband received was cold. Not only was it cold, but we waited so long for our food that the server from the next shift came to us to take our order AGAIN, and when we told her that we were waiting for food, she came back very quickly with everything. It was obvious that the food had been sitting on the counter and was completely forgotten. To add insult to injury, we were the ONLY table in the restaurant both outside and inside-we were watching other tables next to us envious of their having food to eat. I tried to cancel the frozen store-bought cheesecake (it had an incredibly soggy bottom, and was so full of condensed moisture from defrosting that for them to say it's fresh is insulting) because my husband "absolutely did NOT want to give this restaurant any more money" Despite my asking to cancel it, they brought it anyway and charged me. It was the most frustrating $10 I've spent. Adalya is a good place to have a glass of water and wait for a friend, then going to the other restaurants around it. Nothing about the food is good, and despite being generally nice, the servers aren't paying attention. Seriously go to a deli on any NYC corner and it will be a gourmet meal compared to whatever the heck Adalya gave us. Avoid avoid avoid.
Great atmosphere with good food! Outdoor area is outstanding.
Lovely an easy-going place and a beautiful street
Great service and outdoor seating! Very much on the sidewalk, but the ambience was great with the warm weather. The food and wine was also nice -- nothing too unordinary but a delicious meal overall.
Excellent food and great atmosphere!
I made a reservation and we arrived on time. The sat us right away, but the place was packed (mostly outdoor seating) and it took them too long to take our order and even longer to delivered it. :-( They really need more staff. The food was great though. :-)
Great food. Lovely staff with good service and reasonably priced. Sat outside in a private booth with a space heater lamp above us.
Went on a Thursday evening and sat outside. The outdoor experience was great with nice ambiance. The food was very reasonably priced and all delicious.
The Lamb chops were made to perfection. The Mediterranean salad was so fresh and hand cut fries were deliciously crisp. I tried every cocktail and they were all WAVEY!!!! Looking forward to coming back.
A heater, partitions, great food, great service. Pretty much all you need for a pleasant pandemic brunch.
Great food and great service!
Cute little place near Union Square. Interesting menu as it says Mediterranean, but randomly has tacos and burgers...? Regardless, the octopus was really great. Highly recommend! They also have happy hour so get there before 7! The staff was just fantastic and really accommodating.
Nice selection on Meze platter. Wine was a bit pricey, even for NYC.
Restaurant was dark. Some of the dishes were hit or miss. One waiter serving a large section so there was some delay in ordering and getting our check
we will be back to try other things from the menu. We had a great experience and everything was delicious.
Ventilation is poor- is very warm especially sitting in back of restaurant.
Service- average maybe slightly below.
excellent turkish food--and plenty of options for vegetarians.
we asked to sit in the back, away from the bar, for the quiet--which made dinner esply pleasant.
The service was extremely slow. The food was not horrible it not very good. The atmosphere was loud. It could be a cozy place if it had good food and service. It had a hooping bar scenes. Go there for drinks
Food was good. Place was boiling hot on arrival. Had to ask twice to lower / turn off heat... Had to wait an inordinate amount of time for the final entree to arrive. No decaf coffee?! Not very attentive service ... had to ask twice for wine. Food was good though.
Just doesn't work to have a restaurant separated with a curtain from the very loud bar section. Not to mention dining while they moved an entire bench out of the restaurant in order to accommodate musicians that were coming in to play. All very odd.
Poor experience. There were cockroaches on the wall right next to our table. It was disgusting and when we told our server he said “yeah they sprayed in here today, so the bugs come out!” Never going back. Besides that loud and service not great.
Service was so nice and attentive, they let us stay till late for being a Monday. The food was good and the atmosphere too. This is perfect for a group hang out.
Literally waited an hour to even have our orders taken. At any given time it was unclear who our server was...or if we even had one.
Love to come here for happy hour!
The food was pretty disappointing, especially for the price.
Had a great time here! Bartenders Caner and Mami were great guys. Food is delicious and amazing cocktails are being served. Great spot for happy hour. Overall I am so glad to discover this spot.Definetly will be back.
I had great time here today.happy hour here has great many options. Service was amazing. The team knows their stuff and they are very friendly. Meet the guys Caner and Mami. They are fun people! Food is delicious here and great cocktails.
Great food. Great beer choices. Great service. Not crowded between 6&7:30pm Thursday nights.
Six of us went for dinner before a 9PM show at the Daryl Roth Theatre. Good location, comfortable space. Food was good for the price, but the service was a bit disappointing. We were early, which wasn't a problem, but the server seemed a bit overwhelmed by us. We did want to order apps first but he forgot to take drink orders. After a while we had to track him down. When the bill was put on the table, we gave them two cards to split. When they brought the bill for us to sign, they had charged someone else's dinner by mistake. It was a similar total to ours, so it took us a minute to catch it. It's a small restaurant which we really liked, but makes the spotty service a bit more puzzling. Definitely go to Adalya, but plan to advocate for yourself a little more than usual.
Really good food, especially the fried cauliflower. Friendly service and sophisticated decor. The tapas and other plates to share were perfect for a girls' dinner. Weeknight wasn't too crowded.
Some dishes were excellent (fried cauliflower, halumi with spinach, tacos) and some were disappointing (brussel sprouts, side of mixed veg and french fries).
To be fair, it’s a Mediterranean restaurant, and we didn’t order any Mediterranean food. We ordered a burger and a chicken sandwich. The burger was very good, and there was a huge pile of fries, which were ok. The chicken sandwich was nothing special, the chicken was ok, it was weird to have asparagus on it, the sun dried tomato was hard to chew, the melted cheese was good. It, too, came with a huge pile of fries, but I switched out the regular fries for seasoned, curly fries and those were very good. It was happy hour so all beers were $5 but they didn’t have our first request in stock. The place was pretty empty on a Saturday night, but we left at 7:00 pm and it was even more empty. Service was ok but slow, despite the few people there.
Food was great, wine was great, service was great.
I cannot complain, very glad we decided on dinner here.
Will definitely be back.
Strange experience.. went here a year ago and it was awesome. Last night it was like a diner.. laminated menu and French fries. Waitress was annoyed that we were having a conversation when she wanted us to order.
Everything was lovely. Would definitely go back.
Good enough food from a very brief menu. This is basically a bar and, as such, loud. Nice bar, nice drinks and nice bar food. A bit pricey. Not really for a relaxed dinner.
