Located in the Elston Industrial District--not quite Bucktown, not quite Lincoln Park--Ada Street offers dinner and late night service six days a week.
Love this lace - a real gem!
Ada Street consistently impresses me. The food is always incredible and the service spectacular. This restaurant elevates any occasion to make it much more special. I had never gone on a Saturday night before, so I was a little surprised at how lively the dining room was, but it was positive. The Wagyu strip steak was to die for and the chocolate ganache tasted as beautiful as it looked.
I’ll always be back for more.
The restaurant surprised with a special menu and special pricing for the day. We did not enjoy the special menu. The salmon came out very undercooked.
Service was terrible. While eating our first course salad, someone came out and asked us to leave and was very insistent that we didn't have a reservation and our time limit was up, even though we made a reservation on OpenTable 2 months in advance.
Overall, would not recommend or return
We went here during restaurant week not knowing what to expect, since I have been to restaurants who fail during this time. Ada Street did not fail and in fact passed with flying colors. Everyone is our group of four was raving about the food, the ambiance of the speakeasy-like building, the service, everything was superb. With the pre fixed menu we weren’t sure what to order so we all basically ordered one of everything to share and I’m glad we did. The steak tartare, gnocchi, and lamb ribs were the best I’ve ever had. I will be coming back to try more!
Went for Restaurant Week. Amazing dining experience!
Excellent Restaurant Week selection. Beautiful space, attentive service, superb ambiance.
Can’t recommend enough! Excellent food and service. The steak tartare was the best I’ve ever had... and the lamb ribs were wonderful! Can’t complement this place enough! The staff are wonderful too!
Came for restaurant week and loved it! Great place but very small. Loved the romantic feel!
Went for restaurant week with 3 friends. Not a bad option on the menu.
We went for Restaurant Week and had great service and very good food. Steak tartare was the highlight. My only concern would be the $48 price for a brief 3 course menu.
Food wasn't the greatest but great vibe and service was awesome!
Ada Street never disappoints. Excellent food and staff as always!
Always a great experience. Awesome service, good vibe and delicious food!
Took my parents here for the first time— had such a wonderful meal by perfect candlelight with the most delicious cocktails!
Food was really salty. It has been better in previous visits. We sat at the bar and the server was more concerned talking to the manager who was eating there with his date.
So I have had hit or miss experiences here. Our visit on NYE was a miss for me. The gnocchi was SO salty (and I freaking love salt) I could barely eat it. And, the radicchio salad...it's a lottt of radicchio, but like the hard white-ish/bitter parts, and not much else. It needs more balance and a better dressing for that as a base. My partner got the salmon which he liked a lot.
We were visiting from out of town and decided to go to here for New Years Eve. The food was amazing, and the service was outstanding. Will go back whenever we are in town!
Off the beaten path somewhat, but well worth it!
MK owed restaurants always somehow knows how to bring that uniqueness to all their meals.
Amazing service, food (per usual), and ambiance. Love this place. Can’t wait to go back.
My husband and I had dinner at Ada Street for NYE and were very disappointed. This was our second time dining at Ada street. The first time was a couple years ago and we were very impressed but sadly that was not the case this time around. We did the tasting menu and had to ask for each course after waiting for at least 30 minutes. We saw other tables around us get served well before us despite them coming much later than us. We felt very ignored during the entire evening, definitely not how we planned to spend our NYE dinner. The food was good but not outstanding. The burrata was cold (would recommend warming up a bit), the brussel sprouts were drenched in sauce, and the steak (I asked for medium well because I'm pregnant but it was quite rare, which made me nervous eating it).
We went for our anniversary, and right as we sat down we were given some complimentary bubbly to celebrate. As always, the service from Michael was incredible and the food was delicious. This is the spot to be for the best service and incredible ambiance for any occasion.
Overall, the food was quite good, creative. Food was heavily salted; all of our group commented on salt.
Service started out well, then became very very slow.
Temperature in room was warm; waitress said there had been problems with controlling temperature.
Room was noisy.
A toss-up as to whether the food outweighed the other issues, might not recommend for a return outing.
Sat at the bar and loved it. The service is great! Explanation of the menu as well as some favorites were given and we loved every single one! Smaller portions allow to try multiple dishes. The drinks are delicious, as is the food! Very nice vibe! Will definitely be returning!
Every time I’ve been to Ada Street (twice) everything has been absolutely amazing from the food to the service.
Delicious. Lil’ salty. Lotta nice.
Great food, nice room/location, easy on street parking, can not go wrong eating here..........we enjoyed the food and the service and would gladly return and reccommend
Everything was wonderful. Only complaint was that the exhaust fans from the kitchen didn’t seem to be doing their jobs. Was pretty smoky and smelly in there. Not terrible but enough to notice.
Great food and great service. Loooooove Ada Street!!
My sisters and I wanted a special dinner together and we got that and then some. Love your place!
Small plates, the appetizers were really delicious one entre the scallops were good just a little salty. We also had a steak it was ok. The drinks were very good. Great atmosphere! Nice place, romantic. Would go back!
Service, ambiance and food were all exceptional. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or just have a fun date night.
Very cool space. The menu was pretty limited. Food was fine but per the reviews we were expecting more. with all the restaurants in Chicago, we probably won't be back.
The pyrotechnic cocktails and food (cabbage rangoons, Brussels sprouts, mussels, gnocchi, and scallops) were excellent.
The gnocchi is to die for!!! Loved this spot! The ambience was very speak-easy-esque. Bartender took great care with the drinks, which were also delicious.
Great experience, wonderful cocktails and great food! Portion sizes are generous. Friendly and knowledgeable bartenders.
We started off with the burrata which was an interesting and very good presentation. For dinner Laura had he sea bass which was cooked to perfection the skin was broiled fish than cooked. I had the duck dish which was an unusual preparation, and delicious. For dessert Laura ordered a mousse cake which she devoured.
Delicious food and cocktails, and Autumn was a wonderful server!
Birthday dinner. Delicious food. Especially the Gnocchi and great French Martini. Our server Mike was really cool and knowledgeable
The service, food, ambiance and drinks were all amazing! My girlfriend and I were thoroughly impressed! I already have and will recommend to others!
