Located in the Elston Industrial District--not quite Bucktown, not quite Lincoln Park--Ada Street offers dinner and late night service six days a week.
Ambience is great. Wish the food was as good. Food should never be worse than the ambience. We ordered several items and none were "wow", all pretty much "meh".
Parents night out! It was my second time (first was just one week ago) and my husband’s first time. Absolutely delicious! We’re already planning who we’re going to be bringing back with us :) .
Amazing dinner, service, and experience
Awesome place!!! Great service and great food. Waiter recommended 5 plates to share between 2 of us and it was the perfect amount of food.
Our favorite Chicago restaurant. Never had less than an excellent dining experience. Love the small plates format. The pretzel bread pudding is to die for.
I was expecting something more spectacular. The food was just ok.
Delicious food, fast and full service at the bar!
Beautiful food and a kind & thoughtful server made for a comfortable, relaxed, enjoyable meal.
All good, excellent food, reasonable prices
We had an outstanding time. Starting with a beautiful setting.
We tried their new spring menu and it didn’t disappoint! In fact, it was luxurious.
Great drinks and small plates to share!
If it is just 2 people dining, I highly recommend just sitting at the bar. Great Service. Food is on point. Don't let the location fool you!
Delicious dining experience! Everything was perfect.
We have always loved this place and hadn’t been for a while. Nice to see it’s as good as ever!
My last trip to Ada Street I had a delightful meal, but this time it was just the opposite. Don't know what has happened but the food was like cafeteria food. There were only four tables occupied at the busiest time for most restaurants. The manager tried his best to make it a good experience, but it really was dreadful. Won't be going back.
One of our favorite restaurants in town. Our visit was for two celebrating Valentine’s Day. The fixed price menu was an Italian theme. The service was great just as the food and drinks. Restaurant was dimmed yet lighted by candlelights.
It is a very nice spot. Tables are very close together so you are able to hear all conversations around you. Went the weekend after Valentines Day and had a pre-fixed menu. Would like to go back to explore the whole menu as the food was very good.
Pre-fixed menu that we were unaware of when we booked the reservation.
Autumn was fantastic and made the experience outstanding! The occasion was Valentines Day and the menu did not disappoint. Quality options for a prix fixe menu. From start to finish they did not disappoint. Can’t wait to go back.
My girlfriend and I went here for Valentine’s Day. We were both pleased with the food and service!
Very romantic dining experience
Friendly and attentive staff
Good value for the food
The kitchen was terrifically accommodating and we appreciated that very much.
We went to Ada street to celebrate a birthday and everything was great! They had a Star Wars themed pre-fixe menu for restaurant week that was super creative and made it a perfect way to celebrate my man's bday as he loves Star Wars. The Tie Fighter Wings were awesome and the cocktails were unique and delicious. My only disappointment was that the BB8 meatball was just one large meatball and didn't have a smaller one on top for his head. We loved the service and the atmosphere and are excited to go back and try their regular menu!
We came here for restaurant week and were a bit disappointed. We had all been here before and loved it, but the restaurant week menu was just meh. The appetizers were pretty good. My main was a delicious meatball and so-so fettucine. My friends all got the fish and nobody ate more than half of it. The desserts were pretty good. My friend's first cocktail was bad, she sent it back, but the others were tasty. Service was decent. Décor was awesome.
Very unique place. Small but outstanding menu and just a really cool place!
We went for Restaurant Week, which was Star Wars themed at Ada. Truly enjoyed the food and the service. We will go back.
Great theme for restaurant Week this year. Shouts out to chad who took care of us!
Went for restaurant week and everything was amazing!
We went to their Star Wars themed Restaurant Week dinner. The ambiance and service was nice. However the food mirrored the quality of the Star Wars movies; first course was great, and then the second and third courses were very disappointing. All for the price of 2 watching all 6 episodes in theaters. Continuing the Star Wars themed I give this 2 Stars: “Light Savor”.
Restaurant week menu was so fun! We booked before actually realizing the Star Wars theme (and needless to say my boyfriend was excited). The decorations for the night were just enough and not too over the top and the music was normal with the occasional Star Wars music score. Food was delicious and the theme was a great idea!
We had a limited menu restaurant week so I don’t think they showcased their food.
Went for restaurant week. Great drinks, great meatball, a new addiction to their cinnamon bun! There was a smoke machine so heads up on that as I wasn't expecting the restaurant to be all smokey. Make sure to take some food back home, they wrap your meal in foil paper with a cool shape!
Great little place. We went for restaurant week so pre-fixed menu. My food was good but a bit cold when it came out, which makes me think it may have been plated ahead of time. Excellent drinks. Would go again because it’s a cool spot and want to try the regular menu out.
Great service! Laura was a fantastic server!
An out of the way location with a variety of delicious small bites. I had a Brussels sprout dish and a pasta bolognese that was delicious. Drinks were inventive and in very cool glassware. We sat at the bar and engaged in the "scene". You could ask for a high top facing the cooks and the kitchen. Very energetic.
Loved it and will definitely return!
It was a nice restaurant but I felt like I had to scream because the music was too loud. Also the lighting is horrible, very dark, hard to read the menu.
Great place! Love the ambiance. The food was terrific. The service was amazing. It was a perfect evening to share with a special person.
