My server was great and attentive, the food was perfect, and my not so old fashion old-fashioned that way it was great! Very pleased with my experience here.
Always well done!
The food was outstanding, the service was flawless, and the atmosphere wonderful. Enjoyed the singer tremendously. He made our visit very pleasant.
We make it a point to stop here when we go through Harrisburg. The cocktails are fun and the food is tasty! The service has always been excellent.
Ad Lib is located off the lobby of the Harrisburg Hilton. Our first visit to this venue for brunch was a most enjoyable experience. The menu is more interesting than the normal eggs, omelets, pancakes and waffles. The four of us had three different entrees and each dish was excellent. One order was a breakfast calzone, one was tacos and two ordered Cuban omelets. Our server was very attentive without being intrusive. Bloody Mary’s had a generous pour of vodka. One comment…there was live music which is a good thought and the entertainers were very good. However, the volume was too loud which detracted somewhat from the experience. We are planning to go back again in the near future.
Our bartender Rob was amazing! He had such a cool vibe and made our brunch memorable!!
The complimentary mimosa and monkey bread plus the live acoustic music was a great touch!
We were able to get seated on short notice. Food was fabulous. Steak tartar in Harrisburg? WTH- it was great!
Excellent service and food. There was live music which added to the ambience of the meal. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed brunch!
Amazing food and amazing service! One of the best in the city!
Dinner was excellent. Tired the fish tacos and brisket pizza.
It was a pleasant surprise to have music as you are having brunch! Justin was nice and very knowledgeable with the food and cocktails. Food was creative and delicious- the bacon and egg open sandwich was amazing! The eggs Benedict were so tasty! Cheers to Mark from 1700 degree Steak house for suggesting the brunch!
A must if in the area!
Parker is a very good server.
She is knowledgeable about the menu & honest in recommendations. Also kept water & coffee filled.
Crab omelet seemed a bit light on the crab, other portions seemed generous.
Music nice, but a bit loud at times.
Overall a very nice brunch experience.
The food was absolutely delicious but the service should have been better……too much time between visits from our waitress; food arrived before the wine and lost interest in dessert after waiting 15 minutes for her to return to our table after bringing dessert menus.
The best dining experience in Harrisburg by far. The food was incredible and the service was outstanding! Found our new date night spot!
Worked out nicely for our large group. Greeter/ host and our server were wonderful, attentive, knowledgeable.
Pretty restaurant, prices very reasonable, our food varied: apps great (basil ricotta was a super pleasant surprise, Brussel sprouts yummy, and the recommended short ribs a hit), and all dinner entrees thumbs up, except for my flatbread. It was a pretty generic pizza. Expected dollop of ricotta and discernible sausage pieces, but both were elusive. It was basically white cheese pizza. But all in all, nice experience and would recommend!
I had the absolute best experience for brunch this past Sunday (11am-2pm). Complimentary drinks, apps, and amazing entrees. They did have a kids menu as well, which wasn't displayed online, so do not decide based on that. Their was a gentleman playing guitar and singing throughout brunch. It was not loud at all and extremely pleasant, setting a great atmosphere. Our server was just the best. He was so engaging and personal without overstepping or holding us up from enjoying our meals. The food itself was exceptional. Everything was fresh with wonderful flavor. I cannot wait to go back.
The best restaurant experience I have ever had. Food was heavenly, server was amazing, prices were great and all around experience was perfect.
Service was horrible took over 45 to get our meal ordered appetizers which never came even though waitress assured us they were cooking. Dinner menu is very limited.
Inedible food. Whoever thought short rib mac n cheese should be topped with salt and vinegar potato chips, clearly thought it up during a late night... Most of the food looked like grey matter, but the drinks were spot on and the service was good
Good food and service!
Fish is fresh
Excellent restaurant with the best filet mignonette I’ve had in years! Friendly staff and excellent service!
We plan Harrisburg as our rest stop between Atlanta and NYC specifically because of Ad Lib. It’s a bistro- like venue with good food and exceptional craft cocktails. Service is friendly and welcoming.
We enjoyed our visit to Ad Lib. We had excellent food and the service was friendly, prompt and considerate. We will definitely visit this restaurant again.
My husband and I had a date night here and we were so impressed by everything! They had incredible cocktails and the dinner was outstanding. We look forward to going back soon!!
The food was impeccable and the service was great.
The staff was clearly stressed by the number of diners. Appetizers and main courses arrived at the same time, we were time-limited by need to get to a concert. Food was ok, but overpriced and undergood. We went there in the before times and had a great time with the small plates menu, which seems to have mostly gone away.
The food was delicious! Service was good. We loved the monkey bread as an appetizer! Will come back again!
Excellent service! Simple, tasty appetizers. Entrees were excellent. The variety of choices on the menu made it easy for a foodie and a finicky teen to find a great meal
Excellent decor, food was amazing and Parker our server was exceptional…well done. A great jewel in downtown Harrisburg.
Great Music! Waited a LONG time till anyone came over. Food excellent, but would appreciate more gluten free brunch choices.
Celebrated my parent’s anniversary… food and service was outstanding! They really enjoyed it.
The noise was distracting. We were in the corner by the road. Not a good place
Very good food and drink selection. The Bourbon selection is very well tailored and menu items are diverse and well prepared. Parking is free on the street after 6pm...so don't get tricked into paying the City's high garage rates.
Prices too high for quality of food. Everything is ala carte. Had the smoked salmon pizza. Some type of pumpkin spice on the pizza was off putting.
Everything was amazing
The seafood pot I got was delicious with a scrumptious broth I wanted to drink every last drop of
Ad lib was amazing! We sat out doors in Strawberry Square and sipped cocktails, great dirty martini and a great cosmopolitan. For dinner we had basil ricotta cheese, roasted cauliflowers, wedge salad, wings. The food was delicious and the service was great. We will definitely be back to Ad lib!
Had brunch. My chicken fried duck bacon was awesome, but my partner didn’t care for his bacon cheeseburger. It was kind of loud due to the piano player so we couldn’t hear each other speak. Service was slow, but it was also busy and I think the bartender was also serving. There was plenty of staff it seemed, but not many of the staff were waiters, which was weird.
Great food and service
