As always, our dinner experience and food were outstanding. I hosted a dinner with customers and they had a fantastic time. Acero never disappoints and it is my favorite restaurant in the STL Area.

This was a birthday celebration dinner, and it went about as perfectly as you could expect. The food was excellent, matched by the service. The server was fully knwoledgeable about the wine list and made excellent recommendations. It was a wonderful evening.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. Our server was amazing. All six of us thought the food was the best we’ve eaten out. The mushroom pasta melts in your mouth. Intimate and relaxing atmosphere with exceptional food. I love the offer of a tasting menu so you can try several things without being too full at the end of a beautiful meal.

Highly recommend the 4 course tasting menu. Each person can choose their own dishes and even though they are half portions it was plenty of food. Jesse was our waiter and he was fantastic! We also did the wine pairing with our food and he was extremely knowledgeable of the wines and took our comments into consideration about what we liked when selecting our wine, which again each person can choose their own red/white to their liking. All the food we ordered was amazing but the ravioli pasta was my favorite, different than anything I’ve ever had before and absolutely delicious.

The food at Acero is always fantastic - I’ve never had a bad experience at this restaurant. We don’t even live in St Louis any more, but try to have a meal here every time we’re in town.

We admire your menu choices and they way your chef prepared our meals. But what we liked most of all was an attentive and knowledgeable waiter that Harris was. He made great suggestions and clearly is a skilled waiter. We will be returning to Acero for the food but also to enjoy Harris.

Seated in the very back of the second room, it was incredibly warm, making for an uncomfortable experience. The restaurant was abuzz with chatter, which was wonderful, except that we were seated next to the most obnoxious table of entitled a-holes who shrieked and talked over the entire restaurant. We had difficulty hearing one another at our own table. It was so blatantly rude, and ruined our dining experience. Zurn was lovely, knowledgeable, and worth coming back for. He made a so-so evening worth the 5 stars for service. Food was fantastic, as always, and we enjoyed the wine pairings, however we’re disappointed the 4-course meal only came with three pairings. It felt incomplete. All in all a good experience, and we will come return.

It was so lovely to arrive and find our menu printed to recognize our anniversary! We knew we wanted the 4 course tasting menu and accompanying wine flight. What we didn't expect was almost all new dishes since our last visit. Service was friendly but professional, food was stellar, wine and spirits likewise. The only drawback was the noise that grew over our time in the restaurant. To be fair, the way they've broken up the space helps a great deal as do the sound buffering "pads" in strategic spots. We will return, hopefully in time to work through more of the current tasting menu.

Our party of 2 were first-time weekday diners. We had wonderful service at the table with a very knowledgeable server. The receptionist came across as a little cold. The food was excellent with fair portion sizes and was very nicely balanced. We were a little disapointed in their cocktail selections and quality -- they are clearly more focused on wines. One party was vegan and the options to accommodate that are quite limited.

We ate there for our anniversary. They had happy anniversary printed on our menus! A nice touch! Our waiter was wonderful and his recommendations were amazing! We did the 4 course dinner option and had fabulous meals! We enjoyed the meal so much we bought a gift card for our daughter and son-in-law’s anniversary . It definitely was a delicious meal and wonderful experience!

The food is so good. I had the Roasted Bet Salad and Spaghetti Chitarra Amatriciana minus the Guanciale. It was soo soo yummy. My husband had the 4 course and we shared his dessert. The waiter we had we soo knowledgeable about the menu as well. This is our second time but will not be our last!!!!
