Wasn’t horrible, but was a bit expensive for what it was. Except for the scorpion bowl - that was delicious and worth every cent! Will definitely be back for that and some ping pong! 🏓
The food we had was delicious. However, as a mostly vegetarian, I was surprised to see the lack of non-meat options on the menu.
Amazing new menu, delicious food, great atmosphere!
Staff really needs to exercise more common sense but otherwise super fun time!
Food is pretty inedible. Beyond the bad food, they are in a rush to turn the table. The only reason to go is for table tennis. There are other places that have better food and table tennis. Thumbs down.
I feel that the first person you meet at a restaurant really sets the mood. Unfortunately, the hostess wasn't the most pleasant person and that was a real turn off. Our appetizers were very good, the imperial rolls were good and so was the Pork belly buns. My husband ordered the spice market beef ramen and although he said it was good but only had one piece of beef in it that was disappointing to him. I had the Bibimbap and it was very good.
Ace is one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. The new menu is awesome! The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. We love Ace!
I enjoyed the food they had a lot. Best part about the place. Unfortunately I have to reserve a ping pong table outside of reserving an eating table and they go quick.
The food at this pool hall is excellent. It turns out it was the Chinese New Year. There was a special on the menu for a whole fish that was flash fried and served with herbs, pineapple and jalapeno . To eat this you added a sauce and wrapped the fish in lettuce leaves. It was very creative and delicious!
ACE seems to be on it's game lately - everything we've had from the recently-updated menu has been good. Fast, tasty, fun, and very reasonable.
Great, non judgmental, and chill dinner go to.
My husband and I love to try a wide variety of places for our date nights and this was a great surprise. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the service we received throughout the evening was excellent. We had lots of fun and will definitely go there again.
Our server and food were great, the ping pong reservation system was a bit confusing but oh well.
Always enjoy going to Ace, we’ve even made it a New Years Eve tradition.
Food, as always, was great. Service this past NYE was somewhat absent minded. That’s really the only way I can describe it...left us sitting waiting to order (in an emptying dining room) for 30 minutes, forgot that I’d ordered another drink... made eye contact and gave him the heads up sign twice as he visited other tables - never came by. If it hadn’t been for the manager randomly coming by... not a typical experience by any means. Usually service is excellent.
Still - had a great evening and the great food that keeps us coming back.
We ended up leaving without eating. I had taken a look at the menu and read reviews beforehand, and thought this place would be good to try, plus, it was close to where we were going after dinner. I also sent the menu to my friends to make sure it looked ok, but clearly no one looked at it. We sat down and were completely underwhelmed by the menu and lack of options. The menu is small. I have a lot of food allergies, but I can usually find a few things on the menu that I can eat. Of the things I could eat, I was not excited. We ended up going next door to Steuben's. We won't be back.
Fantastic ramen and gyoza! Will definitely be back again soon!
Menu changed and waitstaff at beginning was rude although our actual waiter was great. Brussel sprouts were the only thing to write home about this go around.
Our server was great and the food came out quickly. I appreciate Ace for taking reservations. I only wish the menu had more items and more ramen options! As more and more apartments and condos pop up nearby, it makes finding parking especially difficult.
Went there to meet a friend visiting from out of town for the fun ambiance. Pre dinner ping pong was a great way to break the ice for our kids who had just met that evening. Unfortunately, once we sat down for dinner things went South. Personally one of the worst meals I’ve ever eaten, which came recommended as best item on the menu from our server. Bi Bhim Bob. Tasteless. Steak and snap peas like leather. Kids noodles were basically stir fried with soy sauce- can you say salt attack, and cold. Just gross. Wish I could say better things, cool spot, bad food.
The food was great and our waiter was great! He even gave me ice cream with a candle for my birthday! The hostess failed to check us in for our reservation. When my friend called to reserve a ping pong table whoever answered was very rude and chastised her for calling the day of. Bao buns were our favorite and the shiva shots were yummy!
What a fabulous place to have fun and eat fantastic food! Happy Hour is amazing and the ping pong tables are a blast! Great for groups, special occasion and anyone that has an asian food fetish!
Great fun place for asian grub. Like the games and the good beers.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They made our evening enjoyable. The food was very good. The drinks were refreshing.
I come here for the atmosphere more than anything. The food is fine, I would like it more if it wasn't so expensive. I feel like it isn't a great value for the money. But I will say the service is fantastic and I love their homemade sodas and cocktails. The great service and atmosphere make it worth checking out.
First time here and it was wonderful. My sister and I really enjoyed the food.
Great job taking care of our group of 14, Thank you
overall very positive. Super loud and entree took a long time to come, not unexpected on a Friday evening. First courses were out quick, service was good. Food is always reliably delicious.
We were in Denver on a visit and wanted to try something fun. This place rocked! Our server was splendid, her recommendations on the menu was perfect. We had the Pad Thai.. incredible! Shrimp fried rice.. fab! Calamari and Egg rolls on the appetizers ... beautiful! Local brew .. tasty! The energy was fun, uber hip and vibrant. Great place and highly recommended!
We use to love Ace but they changed the menu since we last visited. The food was good but the menu we literally craved change to a menu that's, just fine. It was good but we're not in as big of rush to get back. Oh well.
We had dinner here for my 50th birthday. The food was delicious, the service both excellent and non-intrusive, and our server was lovely! Thanks to Ace for a great time!
Seriously fun and delicious restaurant. Our kids love the ping pong and we love the Brussels sprouts.
We had a wonderful time and our boys enjoyed playing ping pong while we visited!!
I would say that Ace Eat Serve has great potential. It's a fun atmosphere with table tennis and drinks. However, the "gluten free" menu is full of items that would make you sick if served as described. I as a celiac person and my fiance both had meals that made us feel ill later. The woman who was filling waters in the restaurant even though we had water on the table, filled my drink glass with water on top of my cocktail, then disappeared w/o solving the problem.
I would not recommend the restaurant until they get it together. Pretty weak with potential.
Was a great experience, delicious different arrangements of foods to choose from. Happy hour has many great items on the list discounted, and of course...the ping pong! Had a really great time, will be back again.
We had a reservation for 7 pm but moved it up to 5:45 when we found out Ace has a Ramen Happy Hour! Dare I say it's the best HH in the city? Full bowl of ramen and a beer or sake for $11. You can't beat it.
Wonderful food and an even more impressive service experience. Keep up what you're doing!
I went for the "famous" wings. We arrived about 5pm. The menu was very limited until dinner at 6pm which seemed goofy. You can get ramen and a special drink but not just ramen. The restaurant smelled fishy when we walked in which was a turn off. And then the wings were crispy, saucy (tiger sauce), and reasonably priced. However, again, they smelled like fish. I realize that they use fish sauce or paste as an ingredient, but they just weren't pleasant to smell which wrecked the entire experience. The bao buns were soft and mushy and small so surely not worth $5 each, so nothing we ordered except the pickled cucumber salad was good. Disappointing.
My first time here and I really enjoyed it. I work full-time as server in upscale dining which makes it hard for me sometimes to enjoy eating out, but Ace nailed it. Friendly host. Great server who knew her stuff, especially about the wine selection. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back. One odd thing about their wine menu is that they don't discount a bottle of wine vs 4 standard glasses. There's no incentive to get the bottle. I thought that was really odd.
A little too loud for a first date.
A group of 4 of us visited ACE. We were sat outside promptly per our request. There was a bar adjacent and people playing ping pong nearby. The decor is fitting with the times and very well done. We shared multiple appetizers and raved about every one of them. We each had a different main course and I didn't hear a single complaint. In addition to a great meal you can play ping pong while you wait or play before or after. ACE is a unique experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends. I will be back
