Acadia is a two star Michelin restaurant in Chicago's South Loop Neighborhood. Chef Ryan McCaskey's seven course menu is seasonal with contemporary takes on classic food. Most roots come from classic American, French and Italian influences. Seafood and shellfish products will mostly be sourced from the area in Maine where Chef McCaskey spent his summers, but also which happens to be a source to some of the highest quality shellfish in the world.

The overall dinner was great, very attentive servers . The food was good the first few courses. The lobster pot looked amazing, but the bisque was so salty that it took away the flavor of the lobster (which was cooked perfectly). The one thing I was disappointed most was the fact that our server did not mention about the foie gras options which I was more than happy to pay extra for. I did mentioned it when he brought out the lobster pot pie and he said "pot pie was better and that the foie gras was coming". I was shocked when they started to send out the desserts. I was very disappointed, I choice this place because he had a foie gras option. Beside that it was a good dinner.

The food portions are extremely small. I did the wine pairing with dinner. The amount of wine was generous. However, due to the small portions of food I had to quit drinking because I was getting tipsy. My husband got home and ate a lunchable. I fed my daughter pasta and ate what she didn’t finish. Our bill with 21% gratuity was $740. My husband’s boss treated us to $500 for dinner. The $240 we paid wasn’t worth it.

We celebrated our anniversary. The restaurant is perfect for this type of occasion. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented. The wine perfectly paired and the service was impeccable.

Very disappointing evening. Two dishes were cold and it took 20 minutes before a waiter even made it to our table. Not even worth 1 Michelin Star.

Spectacular culinary experience. Unique dishes with superb service and environment that is perfectly set for this type of dining.
Some other michelin places in Chicago are clearly overrated when compared to Acadia.

It should be on the "must-do" list.

Exceptional dining experience with a creative and unique presentation of items. The new seven course menu is just spectacular. The service was exceptional in every way. I truly enjoyed the evening with them

Dined at the last seating on New Year's Eve. It was the priciest among a few well know high end venues. I decided to try it out for their eight course menu and a night full of "many entertainers" throughout the New Year's Eve event. THIS WAS MY WORST NEW YEAR'S EVE DINING EXPERIENCE! The food was sub par, the service was amateurish, and the restaurant design looked like my alcoholic uncle's basement after a super bowl party. The bartender's had no decorum and their drinks tasted like they missed Chapter one in their bartender's for dummies guide.

What was the night cap, you ask? After our wonderful dinning experience was over they told everyone they had to stand in front of the restaurant (gave us our coats- because was the coat service was closing up- of course) and we waited while they converted the restaurant into an after party event space. Really??!!

And, by the way, their many entertainers consisted of a wannabe Mick Jagger impersonator, one Blondie impersonator who did not sing or look like Blondie, and 80 yr old woman with a head tattoo (to be honest, she was kind of fun).

Not the place I can come to everyday, but a place I will come back too for sure. Exceptional food with wine paring. This was our pre-New Years meal and it was outstanding. Treat yourself to this experience.

It is completely a whole experience, even more when you have the wine pairing. We would only change the music. Everything else was excellent!

2nd time there. Presentation and service was great. Food was a little bit better the 1st Time. Did 110 wine flight which not sure worth it but they did put on a good show. Going to sit in bar next time and give that a try.

Location is in the south loop of Chicago. The front of the restaurant has small bar and place where you can have late night eats and drinks. We opted to have the tasting menu with wine pairings in the main dining hall. We were seated right away. However, we sat and sat for about 10 minutes without anyone greeting us at our table. I thought this was odd given the status of being Michelin restaurant. Kind of started the night off on the wrong foot. Evening improved from there. Waiter apologized. Food was amazing and so were the wine pairings. Afterwards, they took us into the kitchen for quick tour and photo op. Next time I will try their famous burger and cocktails on their late night dining menu.
