Roast Prime Rib Au Jus - The House Specialty
Crisp Romaine lettuce tossed in classic Caesar dressing
The ribeye tasted boiled and the wine was not a Napa Cabernet as the wine list said. The spinach was over peppered and fries not cooked.
we all had prime rib. It was cooked to perfection and would melt in your mouth. There were six of us and four were celebrating their birthday. I was allowed to bring my own cake. They brought it in with a lit candle. The experience was perfect as always. Our waiter was Austin who could not have done any better. Thank you to the Barn!
Our 1st time. Looking for a great steak, good drink, and appropriate apps. I got the 9 oz. filet mignon which had a "tangy" flavor to it I did not recognize. Unlike any steak I had ever had. It was thick, tender, but not tasty. I was expecting something seared in butter.
The drinks, Brandy Old Fashion for my wife, and Makers Mark Manhattan Rocks for me were great. Lobster bisque was very good. I was hoping to get mashed potatoes but not available but the baked potato was good. My wife's escargot was excellent. Eric the waiter was very good.
Just not a great steak flavor.
Once again we totally enjoyed our evening at Aberdeen Barn. We celebrated our Anniversary (#52) as we have celebrated there several times in the past 20 years. The prime rib was perfectly cooked, the sherried mushrooms were delicious, as was the fluffy baked potato. The French onion soup and the wedge salad were excellent. Derek provided excellent service - we plan to be back soon!
First time visiting Aberdeen barn, we went for my husband’s birthday. Excellent service & food!
Service was 5 star our waiter was quick attentive and on point. We were seated immediately on arrival. The food was very good the barbecue shrimp were a little over cooked but the steaks were cooked perfectly. Dessert was ok like a pecan chocolate Sunday. Nice evening we were celebrating our 39th anniversary.
My husband and I have been going to Angus Barn to celebrate our anniversary for the last 52 years and they are very attentive and good waiters. Back when we first celebrate our anniversary Prime Rib was 25.00 for two. Now prices have changed as we all do. Love their Prime Rib and all their food is well worth the money.
Fantastic service and food was great!
It was amazing like always and our boys enjoyed there 1st fancy meal.
The food is as good as ever, I just wish they would update the decor. It is a bit too dark and dreary.
The wait staff is always wonderful and attentive and make the experience worth while. We love having Kathleen as our server!
my go to place for special occasions for over 30 yrs
our favorite place to order the Roast Beef Princess Cut Rib very rare
No parking. Service good, food good, not great.
Aberdeen barn was great as always! Salad, baked potato, prime rib was wonderful!
Tremendous shrimp cocktail and prime rib was cooked to perfection.
Service was outstanding. All the staff was terrific. Food, not so much. Steak was good, but the lobster bisque was terrible. And my broccoli tasted like warmed up frozen broccoli. For the money I am not sure I would return.
Great food and service, definitely need reservations
, highly recommend
We’ve been going to The Barn for over 20 years. Always a superb experience
It’s not the old Aberdeen barn that it used to be. It seems as though they have cut corners and lots of places that changes the whole experience
Great food, great service and it’s great to be able to dine at my favorite restaurant.
Service and food was on point. Fast, efficient, quality in Aberdeen Barn was outstanding.
Nice friendly staff, excellent service, great atmosphere, food was a little pricey but excellent.
Great service, great steaks!
Delicious steak grilled perfectly per request, great sides. Fast Service, nice dim ambiance. Will certainly be back.
Great food and service! Glad we came there while visiting the area.
Highly recommend their fried shrimps and prime rib - to die for. Service was superb!
Great restaurant, I would visit again!
You can always count on good food and great service at the barn
Expensive (dinner for 3 $150), Very accomodating waitress. Dark as a cavern (though not damp as the dew). Needed flashlight to read menu.
food was good as always but the highlight was our server she was wonderful.
The service was superb, very attentive and accurate. The prime rib is great as is the warm bread. The decor and ambience is as it was in the 1980's when I started dining there, and that is fine with me.
Solid - nothing special. C+ Food - service A+ Steak was cooked well but no flavor. Mushrooms left something to be desired. My wife’s wedge salad was good. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meal it was just not a breathtaking experience for me. I’m a meat lover so I’m pretty hard on restaurants that cost this much and don’t leave me wanting more.
The waiter we had was about as coarse as they come, clunked thinks around the table, was noisy with other people in the room and disinterested in us. He was a large man, so maybe a longtime employee or family. We ordered oysters Rockefeller to start and they were served burned. Then our prime rib was slopped onto the plate, woefully undercooked, tasteless, the broccoli was overcooked, but the mushrooms were okay. We had to beg for water, and the wine we ordered wasn't available so they replaced it with something that was "$10 cheaper" without presenting the wine list again. Just a terrible experience in what we'd hoped would be a nice, locally owned steak-house sort of place. Instead it was a noisy, slap-dash, inedible, culinary disappointment. I hope it was just a bad night for them.
Fantastic beef. Sides and drinks are good, but it's all about the excellent quality prime rib. Small town feel. My waiter was attentive and professional. Another server on the floor was loud and unkempt. Take your chances - the entree is worth it!
Great food with fine dining ambiance. Perfect for birthdays and anniversaries.
Fantastic job by all! Thank you, and try to get that Las Tours back in. I can’t find any, but grab the next vintage - I know I will. Thanks again, and see you soon.
Food is excellent! Sadly they don’t include salads anymore with your entree so it’s an additional charge and prices are already high for the entrees.
This restaurant was recommended to my husband and I and we were not disappointed. It was probably some of the best prime rib we’ve ever eaten. Great service. Would highly recommend 😋😋
