Food was good, but we waited 25 mins to get seated for our 7:00 pm reservation and waited quite a bit for our server.
I usually love Abel Brown. However, last night I had a reservation for 7:15pm and was not seated until 8:00pm. It was clear that there were too many people for the chef to accommodate. Our order of oysters came 1/2 hour after ordering with entree being served 45 minutes after ordering. The food, though, was amazing. I just can't deal with waiting so long. It was a ZOO when we arrived at 7:15....the bar was packed with people waiting for tables. I'll give it another shot because the food is that good.
Went for husbands birthday dinner. Food was amazing as always. Phil our waiter
Always makes us feel at home. He’s the best waiter we have ever had.
Exceptional food and service every time. A little pricey but worth it.
It was great the server and food were both amazing. I will be returning soon.
This is the first time I have every written a review for a restaurant. Four of us went there for dinner on Valentines Day. Had tried unsuccessfully to make reservations at other restaurants and could only get in Abel Brown at 5:00. This was our first visit to Abel Brown and we certainly weren't disappointed. We were seated promptly at a table at the front window, which gave a little area that provided more privacy. We were given a wonderful young lady, Victoria to attend to our food needs. She had a warm sweet smile and was so attentive and informative of all the items available. She made recommendations when we were unsure what to order and was spot on for each of them. We had Springer chicken, shrimp and grits, a Chilean sea bass dish and the tomahawk pork chop. Not one complaint from any of us in regards to the presentation, flavor and quantify of the food. Each of said that we could not have asked for a better dining experience or better food. Looking forward to our next trip to Abel Brown and only hope it remains the same as this time.
I had Abel Brown highly recommended to me by a colleague and it certainly did not disappoint. Don’t expect to get out of there with a small bill; it is pricey. But the food and service are definitely worth the occasional splurge.
The day before Valentine’s Day was very busy. The food was still great. Thank you for everything.
Took a little while to get seated but well worth the wait...yum !
Atmosphere and service were good as usual, but our first visit on a Sunday evening was lacking in menu options for dinner. It was a little disappointing.
