    My family and I were very excited for the new menu and were also MASSIVELY DISAPPOINTED. The service was excellent. The food, not so much. The shrimp cocktail were not deveined. The replacement was slow. The salads were excellent. My brother and I had the ribeye and it was AWFUL. I mean truly TERRIBLE. Mine was super fatty, overcooked and tough. I requested the scallop entree as a replacement and the scallops were raw. My brother took his ribeye home for his dogs because it was so tough. This restaurant needs a new beef source; the current beef is poor quality and unacceptable. I have no desire to return to Abel Brown. Extremely disappointed for a $500 meal for 4 people.

    Great service! Everything was ok but not worth the $145. Four beers, fried scallops, Caesar salad, Brussels sprouts, lobster roll. I know inflation but geez! Fries were half warm and half cold. Overall it was pretty noisy and drinks/food took pretty long. It’s a good spot but overpriced.

    Excellent food and service. They had good vegetarian options on the menu, and were able to make ingredient accommodations. The only negative for our experience was how cold it was sitting by a window. Both myself and one of my friends had to wear our coats the whole time, which was annoying. But otherwise it was a great meal.

    Gracious service and good food made for a lovely evening. Enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, fried oysters, halibut and pork chop entrees, and creme brûlée. Highly recommend

    We were greeted and seated and served with smiles. The waitress provided tons of information on specials and served table bread and appetizers quicker than we expected. We had bronzino and scallops that were prepared to perfection! Will definitely be making a return trip!!

    Food and drinks were great. The bar is small and I did not like that one of the bartender is openly drinking a non alcoholic beverage in-front of the guests. I’be worked in the same business so I appreciate employees who respect guest and guest service.

    I've been coming to Abel Brown for years, and as usual, I was not disappointed. The best selection of oysters is the CSRA. Always a friendly staff and a fantastic meal.

    Only one thing kept me from giving 5 stars . The main courses took a long time to be served. Oysters Rockefeller came real prompt. Drinks pretty soon . We began to think we were not getting main course. We arrived at 7:45 and did not leave untill 9:45. Food was prepared great.

    Abel Brown is my favorite restaurant in Augusta. If you are a true fan of oysters, this is the spot. Imported fresh daily, there are usually 6 regions to select from. The food is absolutely delicious and you just can't go wrong. Good drinks, great service, and top-notch ambiance.

    Excellent food, outstanding service! Yes, it was noisy but the restaurant was totally packed (on a Tuesday night) so of course it was noisy. Oysters were perfectly shucked - some of the best we have experienced! Next time we visit Augusta we will definitely return to Abel Brown!
