   It was amazing . I had oysters on the half shell and they were awesome . She crab soup is to die for. And the Rib-Eye….could almost cut it with my fork. Finally …the Brussel Sprouts…there are no words to express how good they were !!

   Never had a negative experience at Abel Brown. Food is consistently excellent, restaurant is super clean, staff is amazing - they remember and cater to repeat customers. Always a great night out!

   Enjoyed a birthday celebration/girls get together at happy hour. Food was perfect- broiled oysters are a must and the best in Augusta. Can never go wrong with the cheese curds. Our waiter/bartender had excellent customer service/serving skills. He recommended the chocolate croissant bread pudding- had the perfect amount of sweetness and was incredible.

    I have the shrimp and grits. I know it’s for flavor purposes but the tail of the shrimp should be peeled before it makes it to the table. The Brussels sprouts were on point. The steak was chewy cooked to medium. Had flavor though but def couldn’t just cut it or chew it easily. The sausage was tough to cut or bite. The waiter was thorough. The grits were cooked to perfection. Overall everything was flavorful. The environment was loud and everybody was dressed like they were going golfing or something. I thought it was fine dining so I was a tad surprised that’s was their choice of attire. It was loud too. Like I could laugh loudly and nobody would bat an eye. I wouldn’t go back. Simply because the price didn’t match the environment. The food was ok but I had shrimp and grits and Brussels sprouts for 120… and a cocktail….. they lost their minds 🤪 I might get it to go though lol

    This is our second time at Abel Brown. Service was amazing. Cocktails were amazing. Cheese curds as small plate is to die for. I had the halibut, and my husband had the half chicken plate, both very well paired and cooked to perfection. The only thing we observed on the Charcuterie and Jamon Serrano boards was the preponderance of bread. Seemed as if the bread was offsetting for the lack of accouterments. This was disappointing.     Good food service was a little slow but they were busy. I had the shrimp & grits were very good but a little dry could have used a little broth. We enjoyed everything and will be back.. Definitely recommend

    We went here for a date night. We got fried oysters (pretty good), mussels (large quantity, decent), shrimp & grits (really not the best), and pan seared scallops which were a special (these were 4/5 starts, actually pretty good). Honestly though, I’d go to Farmhaus and get an amazing New Mexico burger for me and my girlfriend for $30 instead. This meal cost us $212 which is absolutely nuts when you consider it just wasn’t anything to write home about. Nice people, food was 3/5 stars, value is really really poor because of the expense to quality ratio.

    We were in Augusta for the Masters in 2023 and Abel Brown didn’t disappoint. There were 3 in our party; we had broiled oysters; the Brussel sprouts where amazing; the Johnny cake with pimento cheese spread (nod in anticipation to our visit to the Masters); 2 special entrée serving Halibut & the Scallops as well as the Shrimp & Grits; all were fabulous! Our Server was Michele who made our experience so much better with her great attention to detail. We would highly recommend!

    As always the service and ambiance was perfect. The shrimp and grits were particularly delicious and the shrimp were big with plenty of sausage. The tuna fillet was prepared nicely and cooked exactly as it should be. The dessert was yummy.
