Abe n Louie’s was its usual excellent self! The filet was outstanding, the lobster Mac n cheese....it was just a phenomenal meal as it always is!
Definitely $$ ($207 w/tip, drinks, steaks, shared dessert), but excellent for a special occasion. Our server was Jason (again!). My bone-in filet mignon (not on the menu -- have to ask for it) was excellent. Both of our steaks were cooked just the way we like: Pittsburg/rare and Pittsburg/medium. Unfortunately the accompanying potato gratin had to be sent back as the bottom layers of potatoes were not cooked enough. Nice martinis (my promegranate was just a bit too sweet); good Pinot. We shared the cake for dessert, as it was hubby's birthday.
Excellent!
We all had steak-each a different cut and each was tender and done to perfection. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing. Abe & Louie's is always consistently good.
We had a delicious dining experience at Abe and Louie's. We shared a bone in filet, and the snow crab deshelled Both were delicious. The crab was salty, but the sweet melted butter helped neutralize that. Service was excellent.
Lovely restaurant
Had a waiter that kept on interrupting our
Conversation and asking if we are finished with wine glasses, bread etc
Very annoying and not professional and
A little too familiar. Charlie is his name from
New Jersey:(((((
Every moment we were in conversation
He piped up asking to remove dishes.
Too bad the restaurant is excellent but charlie has to go. Tutti b
Our experience at Abe and Louie's was spectacular the service was phenomenal the food was incredible the prices were reasonable and we all had a blast I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy great service a fun enjoyable time all staff were attentive and funny and amazing everyone had a great sense of humor and our experience was beyond extraordinary
The bone in ribeye was tough and hardly had the bone, Which is where the juicy meat is. I asked the waiter to be sure my takeout order of ribeye was better and he said they are all the same. What a disappointment that the steak I come there for is no longer the same quality that it used to be.
Good food... great service.. very noisy.. ridiculously priced. I don’t mind paying for a good meal but this was silly
Wonderful dining experience will go back again
Valet parking was awesone service
Inside the waiter was attentive an did an awesome job
Food and service was fabulous as usual. Onion soup is the best around.
Excellent place to eat and have an amazing date! 😉
We are pretty new to the area and have been wanting to try the place
We were seated right away and the Waiter came over in a timely manner and took a drink order
After that a couple right behind us were seated and the waiter and a Waitress said your VIP's
they took there order sat there having a conversation and completly ignored us
after about 10 minutes he camer over to take our order - food took awhile but thats ok
to be ignored like that was pretty bad .
We eat out quite a bit
Boca has a small, select group of exceptional steak houses, and Abe & Louie's certainly deserves
an honored spot on that list . We were seated promptly on a busy Saturday night with our Open Table reservation for a small birthday dinner for three. The steaks came out perfectly cooked to order and fabulously tasty. You must try the peppercorn sauce. Our professional, knowledgeable and friendly waiter Josh, was spot on with his service and helpfulness when ordering and throughout the meal. A memorable evening we will all remember with smiles.
As one who frequents the fine NYC & NJ steak houses. I have found over the years that Miami 's steak restaurants are not comparable to their Northern locations. However, I find Abe & Louis to possibly be the best of all the Florida, East Coast Steak Houses.
Food good but not worth the price they charge. Everything is a la carte. We can go elsewhere and get better tasting food for a better value. Also it got too loud for us to truly enjoy our meal.
Overall it’s was good. The steaks were a little overcoked
The service started out great until the soup never came, but our main meal did. We were then asked if the soup and steaks could come out all at once. They wheeled the steaks and sides back, brought out the soup and then a few moments later the steaks came.
This is where I am livid. We paid $50 and $55 for the bone-in Ribeye and 10oz, Filet. Ordered MR, why on earth would you let it sit there to continue cooking? So when it came out to us, the steaks were a good Medium to Medium Well. Dry steak for a lot of money.
I would honestly never try Abe and Louie’s again. It’s a shame that I was referred to this place, but I will never refer this place to anyone I know.
Thanks Abe and Louis’s for buying my soup and dessert. The soup should have been on you and the dessert for the birthday was free anyway, so thanks for nothing but a bad meal and experience I will surely pass on to the next person.
This is a reliable, special, local, favorite spot. Easy to bring out of towners as well as every day friends. Excellent service, as always excellent menu. The creamed corn added to everything else is a killer dish. Dessert, even when full, is worth a loosened belt. Thanks Abe. Thanks, Louie.
Love the food. And wait staff is very good. Noise level is very high
Abe & Louie’s is one of the best steakhouses in America with amazing food and very professional servers. Can’t wait to return again and again.
The waiter Dave was very attentive
Food delicious as usual.
Since they opened we have visited 1 or 2 times a month judged as our best restaurant. Unfortunately we have run into a temperature problem in the last several months with a new chef on board. Most meats are over cooked. Management and our great waiter have given us discounts other ammenities and recooked a few orders. It should not happen so often. With our guests on 4/2 I did not complain on my over cooked Veal chop. To complain over and over is embarrassing to us and time consuming. It is frustrating that several years of perfect execution by the kitchen has led to the most basic kitchens job of a correct temperature as ordered. We will not give up and our Waiter has and will, we hope, remind the kitchen of our past problems.
Went there for Easter Sunday food was fabulous. Charlie our waiter (who we always ask for )adds to our enjoyment. Highly recommend if you have never been there.
service was good but my Rib Eye s was disappointing. No one will confuse you with Peter Lugers
We had our family Easter lunch here for 7 of us. We wanted to try a new place, so someone recommended Abe & Louie's knowing we enjoy nice steakhouses. First and foremost, the main part of our meal was amazing. The seafood tower was truly unique with a mix of ice cold shrimp, lobster, clams and oysters and then had cooked items as well - unlike any tower we have had in the past in a good way. Bread was lacking as it was a mix of mini muffins and 1 croissant. Seemed odd as we prefer rolls and other types of bread assortment. Cocktails were sub par (my husband's old fashioned was not even drinkable) and had no variety on the cocktail menu to speak of. Steaks were overall fantastic (had various filets, ribeyes, delmonicos), but one or two served a bit overcooked (ordered medium rare and clearly was medium). Salads and sides were wonderful with a huge variety. We got 6 sides for 7 people so lots to go! Our table was in the "bar area" instead of the main dining room (most likely due to the odd size of our party), but that made us feel a bit isolated. Would have preferred to be in the main area. Also, I think this presented a problem for our server as he was having to come across the restaurant to attend to us. He forgot some drink orders and disappeared for a bit too long on a few occasions. I think it would make sense like other high end steakhouses do it to have an assistant waiter who can jump in while the main server is busy. So, food 4.5 - 5 stars but service knocked it down a notch. When we spend $900 on lunch, we expect impeccable food and service. Overall, would give them another chance with a smaller party size.
Had Easter Brunch with my Husband, Daughter and grandkids. We totally enjoyed our food, the service was wonderful. Will definitely will visit this restaurant again. A bit pricy, but whats life if you cant enjoy yourself.
Easter brunch was lovely. Food was very good and the service excellent and friendly. Nice place for holidays and special occasions.
Another Great Brunch. I like Abe's Brunch, because you order off a menu, and everything is made fresh. For Easter they offered the Dinner & Brunch Menus. We ordered a mix of everything, from Egg White Frittatas, to Steaks and Lobster. Steaks temperatures were spot on. Josh was our server, and ensured everything was perfect.
Can't wait to return.
Wonderful steakhouse, food and service was excellent.
Myself self and my family had a great time and meal. Our server was excellent and was at our table when needed. Our meals were cooked to order. Thank you.
We only go on special occasions because it’s very pricey but the service and food is always excellent.
It was great!! Service was great and we decided to sit at the bar area and it was fun
Great independent steakhouse. Lots of tasty bone-in cuts. Lots of side choices and starters. Service very assured and professional, but we were rushed. Clearly our waiter wanted that second seating. Even after we informed him we needed a little time to visit before plunging into the extentve menu, he pushed hard to move us along. It was brusque, but hey, it’s a steakhouse. And a very good one.
Brandon, our waiter, was great. So was the food and especially the butterscotch bread pudding. Portions are gigantic.
All the food here is so good and the service is friendly and very efficient! Have had fish and steak and all is terrific salads are very good as well! You have to watch out for the bread, it is so good that you'll end up eating a lot more of it than you wanted to. Portions are large some you can split certain things. They try very hard to please and succeed!
Great time
I had requested a quiet table and I was offered one in the main dining room by the bar - we didn’t even sit down it was so loud. The hostess said our other option was a table in the corner in the back room. No atmosphere and a very loud woman at the bar. I said to the waitress that in a restaurant of this caliber that wasn’t acceptable. The waitress understood and mentioned it to the bartender who had said he thought they would be leaving soon. This restaurant I would be happy to frequent but not until they invest in some sound barriers which I know other restaurant that have done so and the end result was wonderful. When you dine out with friends/family you would like to hear the conversation. I would like to go back but not under these circumstances.
