Brunch was fantastic. The bacon was out of this world and fresh OJ was perfect. Also, the bread with brown sugar is a great starter. Highly recommend.
We had as usual a fantastic meal!! We arrived a little earlier than our reservation & was promptly met with a smile & able to be seated.
Never been without full attention to every aspect of a great experience. Food is phenomenal with the added touch of the new fish & seafood menu we were delighted to try & thoroughly enjoyed!! The calamari was spectacular!!
Thank you once again for yet another awesome evening my Husband and I enjoyed with two young kids!!!
Es el restaurante que me gusta en Boston, aún no he probado un plato que esté regular. Buen servicio excelentes precios, todo me gusta
Best Steak House I’ve visited in the Boston area
Tell the waiters to slow on taking orders .. I have been many times but the waiter rushed us ordering which I didnkot enjoy
I have years going to this restaurant because i just love it! The food is exquisite, we love brunch at this place . Service as well is always is amazing . We always recommend as a must to everyone we know .
Such good food and the band even played Happy Birthday for my son-in-law! A very nice place for great food or a special or romantic event.
Steak was good but nothing spectacular coming from a couple who has eaten at every great steakhouse in the USA! Now I will say that their sautéed spinach, garlic and mushrooms were very good and their dessert, the butterscotch bread pudding is delicious! Service was great too!
The food was amazing.
I went out with friends. Food was good, service was good, but for the price I expected top-notch. One of my friends asked for a Margarita and was told they don't do blended drinks. They have a wine menu, but other than seasonal mixed drinks, no cocktail menu. Other restaurants in the same price range do it better.
Everything you'd expect in a high-end steakhouse. Excellent service, the perfect gin and tonic, and a great cut of steak, cooked exactly how you want it. I've eaten in many steakhouses around the country, and Abe & Louie's is one of the very best.
Amazing streak house with great wine selection. We went to celebrate a birthday and the menu was well received. Many high end beef options along with seafood and poultry.
Electric atmosphere and attentive wait staff who do not rush you. A great place for high end dining.
I visited Abe and Louie's Boston this past Saturday, March 17, for my birthday. I wanted a nice looking and moderately quiet place. The ambiance of the venue was nice, the food was tasty as well. I ordered the french toast, a 6 oz. glass of pinot grigio and butterscotch bread pudding for dessert, which was my favorite part of the meal. My server was polite, however, he did not approach my table, which consisted of only my sister and myself, as often as I would have liked. I did notice that he did approach the other two tables he was serving simultaneously to check in and see if everything was alright with them. I was a bit disappointed with this, I am not sure of his name either, he did not introduce himself.
Family and friends gathered for a birthday brunch. We were s group of 9 adults and 1 two year old.
Everything was perfect - food, ambience and service, as it always is at Abe and Louie’s!
Best steak in town, always a great meal. Hit a Friday night and it was unusually busy, but we had used Open Table earlier to make reservations for 8:15pm. We had to wait at least 25 minutes past our reservation as the front desk was not communicating. We were told 3 times that we had a table by one person at the front desk and when we went to be seated, the table had been given away by another front desk person. Have never run into this before and it was frustrating already given the later time and lack of cohesiveness you would expect from a restaurant such as this. Ask for Walter, he is a terrific waiter, knows the menu and is incredibly professional yet engaging. Will always go back, as I said the food is amazing, but would like to see order at the front desk.
One of the finest meals I have had. Food was outstanding from the fresh, lump crab through the bone-in filet.
I ordered a fine wine which was decanted without my having to ask.
The service was top notch,
Every time I am in Boston thus is my go to place.
The steaks, lobster, and ambience are unbeatable. Expensive, but worth it
Amazing as always! We sat at the bar for a burger; the drinks and food were perfection as always. I live in Baltimore and visit Boston periodically and the martini is better than I’ve had anywhere. Food was cook as ordered, noice level was low and atmosphere was as nice or relaxed as you wanted to make it.
Bobby D was a wonderful server and we had a great time! The special tuna appetizer was fantastic. The steaks and chops are always the highest quality cooked to perfection.
Food was amazing! Great server!
It was great
Awesome service and the food was excellent! If you haven’t tried the blackened swordfish you are really missing out!
Great Food at Abe and Louie's. Classic Steakhouse, great cuts of meat, terrific selections. Recommend highly.
Service was fantastic
The food was incredible as usual. We have never had a bad meal here. Our waiter Drew was also excellent - he really helped make our anniversary special. Abe and Louis is hands down the best steakhouse in Boston.
It was all good. Noise level a little high but okay
Yes, it's a little pricey - after all it is a steakhouse - but everything about it was great. The steaks were perfect, the drinks were strong, and the service was excellent --the big three.
Excellent food and service. The only low point is that I asked for a pilsner type beer, which should be cold, and was warm...
The music was a bit to loud at Brunch. For a conversation, sit away from the Performers.
We had a fabulous Sunday Brunch at the bar with Mike Buckley, the best bartender ever!!! The food was amazing and the service was excellent .!!!!!!!
Bone in Rib Eye was excellent!
A good steakhouse in Boston near the convention center
We sat at the upstairs bar and the two bartenders (Bryan & Brian) were awesome.
They were very engaging and helpful with food suggestions.
A classic steakhouse with impeccable service. Steaks are huge so we split the bone in ribeye. Still had plenty. Sides are innovative and meant to be shared. Homemade cheesecake was excellent!
Fantastic in every way! Best meal we had in Boston!
It was my husband’s birthday and they treated him extra special. Always a great time at A and L’s!
This was my second time here with family and friends and it was a very good experience apart from one downside. Abe and Louie's is known as a steakhouse and therefore when ordering the $50 filet, my expectations were above average for the steak preparation. I had ordered my filet to be medium, but unfortunately my filet came to me so raw in the middle that it was hard to even cut. It was sent back to cook some more and when it came back the second time, it was still under cooked. Rather than wait for it a third time after the rest of my table had almost finished eating their meals, I decided to eat around the under cooked portion of my filet.
Moving along to some positive feedback, the side dishes were outstanding. One such dish was the carrot dish and it was literally the best carrot dish of my life! The service we had was also impeccable! Our server literally noticed everything and was handled herself very well. The manager came over to apologize for the underdone filet as well, so I felt a true sense of positive customer service. They really did everything they could to make up for the kitchen's mistake.
Came to celebrate our anniversary. Food was good but tables are seated on top of each other and it’s very loud. Service was nothing special. Other steakhouses in Boston offer a much better experience/value.
Server was intelligent, knowledgable in his advice and patient. Good job.
Great date and lovely staff! We got dessert on the house - our server loved us!
