Was great to be able to share a nice steak without any concerns as I have seen other restaurants not allow sharing without a charge. We didn’t care for one of the sides and the waiter took it off the check without issue and even without us asking him to do so.

Happy with the food, service, and ambiance. Noise level is just right - active, but not overly loud. Enjoyed the "old school" charm, and live music at Sunday Brunch.

We were seated 25 mins late and promised a free side by the hostess and waiter before they changed their mind when the bill came. We brought it up and the manager argued with us before giving in over what was roughly 5-10% of the bill. Will never go back again.

Made a reservation for a Saturday night, and very glad that we did! The food was incredible, and our waiter Bobby D. took great care of us, including his recommendations. Will be back!

Abe & Louie's remains my all-time favorite steak restaurant.
It's not listed as a notable quality, but arriving before your reservation for a pre-dinner cocktail in the area is worth it to me. My dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives was perfect.
I ordered 1/2 dozen oysters. I forgot to ask for tabasco this time around.
At our table, we ordered bone-in filet and rib eye steaks. All were cooked to our liking.
For sides, we ordered brussel sprouts, lobster mac and cheese, and carrots.
Wine list is very good. We ordered a nice 2014 Darioush cabernet.
You can always go to Capital Grille or any other national chain. But when in Boston, you come to Abe & Louie's.
