Great food and experience
Great service and great food! Perfect for post-boston Marathon celebration!
Excellent high-end steak and seafood place. Class. Well dressed waiters who are professionals, like Paul who took care of us. The way many restaurants used to be. Great for post-race Marathon. Most of the patrons that evening had run, as had we. An excellent wine list and great steaks and halibut. The bread alone with salt on top was a treat. Will be back after my next Boston marathon.
Great service and food
We love Abe and Louie's Boston. When we visit it is alway on our list of restaurants. Service is outstanding and food is always fantastic!
Always have the best meal when dining at Abe & Louie’s, I live in New Jersey and visit my daughter occasionally and always dine at this restaurant, it’s my favorite. The service is great, love the cocktails served in the ice bucket, the rolls are delicious, and every meal is always done perfectly.
The food, ambience and service were exquisite. Just lovely. Thank you!
Our waiter, Bobby, was wonderful! The food was excellent! He even offered us free chocolate cake after our meal to celebrate my boyfriend’s 21st birthday! Nothing but spectacular service!
We started with cocktails which were some of the best I’ve had. Our server Chris was fantastic, he was attentive, gave great suggestions. I had the filet it was tender. My husband had the Bone in Rib-eye and loved it.
80 year old father running Boston Marathon
We celebrated a birthday and the food and service was phenomenal!
we sat in booth and first out were these amazing buttered rolls that melt in your mouth.
The service was outstanding they were always bu but not hovering, Can't say enough about the food - every morsel was delicious.
Paying for valet was worth it - no driving around looking for parking!
We are definitely going back - just not near Marathon day-lol!
As always it was a wonderful time. Wait staff and food are always great.
Meeting a college friend I haven’t seen in 20 years
Our waiter was fantastic
Went for brunch. Ate at the bar here for the first time. Definitely enjoyed the personality of the bar staff Very polite and personable. Brunch is always delicious and on point
Absolutely great experience and service every single time!!
They have friendly waiters, give you good advises and the food is really good for a fair price.
Excellent lunch spot.
Food was very good.
Food was great! Although we all had the sea bass, I’m sure the steaks would be excellent. Two of us had martinis which were yummy (and strong!). Wine was fairly expensive. It was busy, even though it was a regular weeknight but the service was fairly prompt for the most part. Dessert was also a hit- we had creme brûlée and the bread pudding and I would order either again!
Perfectly cooked steaks and fish. Everyone in the group enjoyed their meal.
I try to make it a point to visit Abe and Louie’s when I am in Boston.
Wasn’t thrilled with how the host treated us. Don’t think he was very professional and even though I checked in under a reservation it wasn’t properly recorded through open table.
My son and I ate here before Yankee Red Sox game. Cocktails were excellent to start with. The wedge with blue cheese and the garden were both delicious.
We had the porterhouse for 2 and it was perfect. Can’t wait to go back.
Place was fantastic. Amazing steaks and even better service. Our waitress Victoria was on point and didn't miss a beat. She even secretly heared that it was my fiancee B-Day, to which she brought out an outstanding 7 layer Chocolate cake. Extremely attentive and accommodating. We will be going back
Amazing service and even better food!
Had an amazing Sunday Brunch with my lady. Bloody Mary's were spot on, the brunch options were varied and delicious. Very good portion sizes. Not too much, but kept us full until dinner. Donnie was our waiter. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Loved it!
One of the great Boston restaurants, atmosphere and service are always outstanding
Over priced and boring place
I’ve been dining at this restaurant for over 5 years (my business school graduation dinner was at here too). And tonight was my worst dining experience in my lifetime. The food wasn’t well-prepared, and the service was extremely horrible. We are a group of Asian girls and sitting between two groups of white people. Our waiter was ignoring us all the time, and we had to ask three different people just to refill our water. He never came to ask about how the food was or do we need anything else. In the end, we brought this issue to the manager who’s on duty, and she was acting like she doesn’t care about our feedback at all. She’s super rude and never apologized. I appreciate that she changed the number on the bill, but she didn’t want to solve the service issue- what concerns us the most. While we’re talking to her, our waiter was standing in front of us and pointing at us with his fingers. I am sharing this experience here because this is definitely not the right way of doing hospitality of a high-end restaurant. If you’re an Asian and reading this, maybe you should consider not to go to this restaurant because it seems Abe and Louie’s doesn’t care doing business with Asians.
Three of us went for dinner post Red Sox on a Saturday. The place was rocking, with everyone seeming to totally enjoy the experience. Despite the crowd, we could have a conversation without shouting.
The service and the knowledge of the server was excellent. The recommendations from the server were spot on. Highly recommend asking advice if you have any questions.
The food was absolutely spot on. It was cooked to perfection, was hot and delicious.
Great food, exceptional service and pleasant atmosphere each and every visit.
Great dining experience with some friends !
We have been coming here for 19 years when we lived in Boston. We live back in the UK now but come every time we visit. It has not changed one bit. Looks, sounds, feels and, most importantly, tastes the same: excellent. If we had a complaint it would be that they push you through too quickly. It is very difficult to have a relaxing diner - aperitifs, starters, main course and out in one hour is too fast.
We had another very good time at Abe & Louie's! We enjoyed the sirloin steak, whipped cauliflower and lobster mac n cheese. The appetizer special, mussels, was also very good along with the ahi tuna. The key lime pie and skillet cookie were excellent!
Our waiter was wonderful, wish i could remember his name. He was older and kept us entertained with trivia tests and his suggestions when asked about his favorites.
Wonderful time! Looking forward to visiting this restaurant again soon!
Regular customer. Always a great experience
Always a top notch Steak with great service
My family and I enjoyed our meals.
We come here often and are never disappointed. Service is always attentive and friendly - Walter was our waiter this time - and the food is great. On this visit we discover the grass-fed filet mignon and it was out of this world. See you next time!
Like so many steak places, it's just over priced. The steak was good, the sides were good, the wide was good - the check demands excellent. If you are going to a steak joint, Abe's is good, but for the price it should be excellent.
The food and service were awesome. The portions are big but our waiters redid. My steak was done perfectly. The only detractor is that it is a very noisy restaurant. But highly recommend it.
Our waiter was great. The wine selection by the glass was outstanding.
