ABC Kitchen Ratings and Reviews
We had a great meal and the service was pretty good until the server announced he was finished for the day just as we were ordering dessert! The person who took over from him was run off her feet and didn’t have time to attend to us. We had to ask for the check and then track her down to pay. Disappointing end to an otherwise lovely evening
Lunch disappointed. A fly popped lazily out of the kale salad. We trapped it under a bread plate and called a server over. He killed it and took it away but failed to return to wipe the table. We waited. Ten minutes. The second course failed to arrive. It was busy. Finally we flagged down our waiter. He alerted the manager. I asked to move tables. Fine. This was incredibly painful and unpleasantly amateurish for a restaurant let alone a top choice with high (!) prices. Afterward I tried to remember all the old jokes about “Waiter, there’s a fly in my soup.”
We went for lunch on Sunday, I had the turkey sandwich and fries, the fries were a little salty but very good. My daughter had an interesting pizza with shaved Brussels sprouts and she really enjoyed that. The reason for 4, not 5 stars was my husband’s eggs Benedict—-very undercooked and not very appetizing to him. I love their vodka thyme lemonade but the price has reached $16 for a rather small glass. Overall we love this restaurant and will return and recommend it to others!
Love the vibe, the food and the food company...definitely returning and recommending.
Was here for brunch - omelets, pizza, donuts, sea bass, French toast and butternut squash soup...a wonderful eclectic menu, zero complaints, all tasted amazing..
Well done to the entire team there..
Great restaurant with an amazing atmosphere. We really liked the interior design. Chef is presenting seasonal dishes by using all natural and organic ingredients. Service was great too. We definitely recommend this restaurant for a date or friends get together type of dinners.
This place was great!! I took my mother here during our trip to NY and it did not disappoint. My mom is getting up there in years so I'm always looking to find things to do with her that are memorable and things that will impress her! This restaurant did just that.
My mother got the Fettuccine with Pesto, and she couldn't believe how FRESH it tasted. I know it's a farm to table place, but WOW! The flavors of every herb were so prominent and the aroma was amazing. I had the ricotta ravioli and the above description fits this dish perfectly too.
We also each had the Smoked Sea Salt Butter Nut Squash Soup, and it was just heavenly. My mom really enjoyed herself. I'd love to come back some day and try more things on the menu!
Our waitress was outstanding as was the service. Kind of amazing. 2/3 of the food was also outstanding and one third very good. Squash toast, butternut squash soup and sea bass were perfect. Our waitress’s name was Summer. She was awesome.
Table and chairs and huge space left me a little cold.
It was an anniversary of our first date and everyone made a sweet and wonderful note of that. Really nice.
First time there, very low key entrance, good vibe, mixed crowd dwindling down,
perfect for a late lunch during Restaurant Week.My big disappointment was the meager selection and actual choices on the Restaurant Week menu. If the restaurant participates I would think it would like to show off a little. Of course there was a salmon dish, a portobello
mushroom sandwich and a third forgettable entre choice. My wife chose the salmon, I opted for a burger and fries. Fries exceptional, burger acceptable. All in all I felt let down. I would suspect ordering from the regular menu would bring different responses.
Food was ok, nothing to rave about. Had the liver toast (good, but overpriced); raw fluke (too much salt /citrus, and too many competing flavours), and the fettuccini (tasty, but too much pesto / sauce and left a weird aftertaste). Wasn’t awful, but for the price and reputation, it was “meh”. Service was good
Be aware!!!! They overcharged you!. I had lunch with my friend last week and I paid them 36 but they actually charged me 39.75???? I would not know it if I didn't check my bank statement. Even contact them are there any error? Just one person forward email and said someone will help you but no one responsible for it! No one!!!!!
Worst customer service!!!!!!!!!
