ABC Kitchen Ratings and Reviews
Staff was fantastic and nice. Shocked about food. So mediocre I couldn’t believe it. Nothing memorable other than the staff, Angelo and Levi. Also we needed to change our rez from a party from two to three and were given a choice of a high top or bar. Beyond annoying because through the course of the dinner there were empty tables — albeit a few, thoughout the restaurant. Wouldn’t go back.
Charming and delicious,This little hideaway is a gym. From the moment you walk in you are in chanted with the post and beam structural elements that lace the interior. The wine was superb and The Cuisine, innovative..... wish that this place was in my neighborhood, I’ll be there all the time!
The food was great,, but whoever was holding the front was extremely rude, she got mad when I declined a walk in table with stools,, I made a reservation a week in advance I want a nice table. And won't talk to us and she sent someone else to seat us at our designated table 20 minutes late,,
The $34 prix fixe lunch menu is an incrdible deal. On it are staple menu items like the pan seared salmon (amazingly crispy with fresh bibb lettuce) and shaved raw fluke as an appetizer (impossibly fresh with just the right amount of tartness with gooseberries and a flavourful marinade). Highly recommend the popcorn sundae for dessert to share with someone - it's toothachingly sweet but OH so good - as well as the cookie plate. Service was consistently attentive and gracious.
Liked the ambience, decor, and interior. However, the server kept interrupting our conversation rudely and giving us a pressure to leave the table asap. I understand it’s a popular place but it was definitely not a pleasant experience.
Besides, there was a hair from the food that we ordered. As soon as we told them about it, the server said they’ll bring a new food. Okay. But then the new food came out tooooo early. Felt like they reheated somehow? Anyhow, we had to believe so we just had them.
The food, well. They are fine. Just fine. Can’t find any clue that this is a very popular restaurant.
ABC Kitchen is a great restaurant "on paper", but in reality, the food plates are disappointingly sparse considering the high price tags. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a little more from Eggs Benni when you pay $20 bucks for it. Doesn't even come with a little garnish. Everything else about the place was good, but let down by the food.
We went for a mid-afternoon lunch/dinner. The food was incredible. The drink selection was creative and tasty. I had the thyme lemon-aid cocktail and my partner the Manhattan (when in Rome!). We brought our young infant (4-months). They had a nice hair chair; however, the bathrooms lack a changing table. We were directed to use a small footstool for changing, which worked fine. As first time parents we are learning to be creative when we travel
Very satisfactory overall.
The host, however, was unpolite and did not respond to our requests once we complained for be waiting for 35 min past our reservation time.
We had 13:30 reservation and arrived 13:29!!! We were sat past 14!
When I asked about the “expected delay”, was answered simply: “there are many tables ahead of you. Step aside and wait, please”.
Not worth returning.
Have eaten here at least twenty times and this visit did not meet their expectations
Difficulty with our reservation and had to change business dinner to 9:30 pm.
One of our guest ordered fried chicken and it arrived at the table not quite cooked thoroughly. Was sent back and came back to the table with so much hot sauce that our guest was ill all evening.
So disappointed that a manager never acknowledged this unfortunate incident. I will reconsider my high recommendation of this restaurant in the future for dinner. Will stick to business lunches instead.
we loved our experience at ABC Kitchen. We ordered the tuna, ravioli, angel hair pasta, potatoes, squash, caramel ice cream, almond cake, And loved every thing, service was also really great!!!! This was a fantastic place to eat, and enjoy the evening. Amazing all around!!
Food was delicious. Our waitress seemed to have an attitude right off the bat. They also seemed to keep trying to turn over the table. It was also really, really loud. Mainly the food was exceptional and the presentation was lovely. The service and ambiance left much to be desired.
What a fantastic meal. The ambiance is so special and specific. Think industrial, urban, beach house chic. It sounds like a mess but it’s actually stunning. The food was perfection too. All the fish dishes were perfectly sized and prepared ...if one was to be picky perhaps a bit salty and pricey and that’s true but honestly worth the splurge. Would return again, absolutely.
Amazing food, not so amazing service
Had a reservation at 1:30 we got there earlier. We were told we would be seated around 1:30 which was fine by us. However we started seeing people get seated before us when they got to the restaurant after us. We had to talk to the hostess twice before getting seated. We finally sat at 1:45 after going back to the hostess. Strange enough, there were a lot of empty tables - why make people wait when there are empty tables??
Underwhelming. Drinks were good although they took a long time to arrive like 25+minutes per drink. Calamari was good. Food portions were small and the pasta was bland. Service was ok, our server was pleasant and when our server wasn’t around there were other people that checked on us. Dessert was really good.
