Food was carefully prepared and delicious. We enjoyed our heuvos rancheros, beef empanadas and fish tacos. Guacamole was great too. When the plates arrived they looked rather simple but every bite was unctuous and satisfying despite portions being small to medium sized.

We love ABC Cocina ... one of our favorite restaurants in the city! The food is always delicious and the service is impeccable. They always do a great job making sure that my husband with celiac disease can eat well. Absolutely delicious and a fun environment. The grapefruit margarita was yummy. :)

Visiting from Chicago, my husband and I had dinner at ABC Cocina this past Saturday night. From the drinks to every morsel of food we ate, all the flavors were fantastic. Portions were a bit small, but it allowed us to try a few options. Bartenders seemed a little standoffish, but other than that, it was a perfect evening at this spot. Fantastic ambiance and energy, too. We would love to come back here on our next trip to NYC.

With the name Jean-George attached to this restaurant, my expectations were set a bit high. The dishes were not quite as refined as I had hoped.

Really fun girls brunch, but some dishes were miniature while others were gigantic and left us a little confused as to how much we should have. Also had to ask for new plates a couple of times because of the order things were brought in (Brussels sprouts with pancakes? No thank you!) service was great otherwise and nothing was left behind!

very busy staff attentive but hurried. Waiter was lovely and staff accomodating. Drinks were very strong interesting and also small
Portions were small spicey and pricey. Pretty upbeat atmosphere. Def worth the experience but not neccesarily a go to hangout.

We have been to ABC Cucina several times and it’s always enjoyable. This time it was even better than usual. There were three of us for a late lunch. We sat in our favorite window alcove table which is a little removed from the hustle and bustle. Great glass of wine, beer and cocktail. The 3 oyster selections were excellent as was the grilled octopus. The peanut butter chocolate sundae was excellent.

I understand the small plate concept, however they need to better execute the service and the portion sizes. I guess that they have some regulars who get larger portions and it is very disheartening to see the table next to you get twice the amount of chips that you got or if you have a party of 4 you get 6 shrimp, but were there three weeks ago and got a larger portion size. I love the food, especially the octopus and the Sunday dessert, but they need to work on consistency and portion control. If a party of 4 is going to spend 100 per person , would it seriously effect the bottom line to give 8 shrimp ?

The hostess was very rude and not accommodating. She didn’t help us with the door even when she saw me struggling to open both sets of heavy doors. We were not helped to put away the stroller and coats. The waitress was very nice and her service was great. The food was very good. Overall good, but very unpleasant experience having brunch today

I’ve been to ABC Cocina twice, and it was absolutely exceptional both times. It’s clear that this is a Jean-Georges restaurant—innovative technique and presentation, along with complex flavor profiles, demonstrate real expertise in the kitchen. The menu features lots of standout tapas-style options, like chicken tacos, mezcal cures salmon, arroz con pollo, and the best guacamole I’ve ever tasted, along with house-made habanero hot sauce. Busy and trendy bar scene from happy hour on, and a bustling brunch on weekends. I highly recommend it.

Visited this restaurant with my kids for our annual post Thanksgiving brunch and visit to Union Square holiday market. Ambiance and decor are excellent and each dish and beverage was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Everything was great except for the service. They were over attentive came to the table way too many times to clear and ask us if we were finished. So much that it became annoying and had a negative effect on the experience. But that being said the food was terrific and I would definitely go back.

The restaurant claimed my reservation was for the following week which as you can see it was clearly not. You and the restaurant need to get your act together.

The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of, was that they kept me waiting for 25 mins after the time of our reservation.

Quite busy at the lunch hour that reservations are recommended. The shrimp over salad was okay; clearly frozen shrimp and over done. The crab fritters were good. A nice place and ambiance but noting to write home about.

Very rude staff. We asked to move table as we were in a draft and our server took personal exception to this. She for the most part ignored us or was openly rude for the duration of our visit. Really disappointing as this is one of our favourite restaurants in NY and we visit several times a year

Food came out one dish at a time which is not ideal since the plates are so small and it took a really long time between dishes. We were there for three hours. Will not return and will not recommend it.

Underwhelming. Not sure I would've paid half of the price for the food. While the decor was gorgeous, the service and food were definitely below than average for a tapas place. Do yourself a favor and visit Boqueria instead - better dining options (though same level service) for about the same price.
