I am a big fan of ABC kitchen and was excited to try. Don't get me wrong, the food and drinks are good, but they're just a lil expensive here for what you get. And the hostesses unfortunately suffer from thinking they are too cool to be nice to people.

ABC Cocina is phenomenal. Our server was excellent, the food was delicious. Had the charred octopus, mushrooms with goat cheese, short rib tacos and it was all excellent.

Pretty fun place, especially if you like the ABC vibe. Food is delicious (esp if you like things spicy).

The margaritas are phenomenal right as they are - a perfect balance of all the ingredients. The guacamole is a 4 out of 5.

The potatoes were cooked to perfection and beautifully paired with sauces. The fritters my bf loved they looked completely on point and had a lovely plating.

I had the fish tacos, I am a huge fan of fish tacos in general but these really need a makeover. The flavor of the other ingredients bring out the fishiness of the tacos. I ended up on the 2nd taco just eating the fish out of the taco with a fork and left the other ingredients on the plate. I think the slaw was the biggest offender to the fish.

We really like most of our ABC meals but this one was a little underwhelming due to the fish tacos for me. My bf loved his dish and we had a lovely time. The wait staff were very friendly and delightful.

The food wasn't bad overall, however the portions are quite small, and it's expensive.

The restaurant menu week was not up to par form the reviews I read. The choices were not great & food was soso. The 2 desserts offered were mediocre.

The food was amazing!!! I’ve been here before but I came back for restaurant week for lunch with a friend. Pre fixe was excellent, server was very attentive and we were seated quickly! Love all the ABC restaurants.

Food was good, but not for the price. Wasn’t wow’ed by anything. Service was bad. The waitress rushed our ordering then never came to check on us until the end I expected a lot more...Disappointing!

Birthday lunch with a friend. We enjoyed the spicy shrimp, Hen of the Woods mushrooms with goat cheese, and raw shaved Brussel sprout salad all delicious. Finished with fried cream fritters with chocolate and espresso. Great vibe. Another Jean George restaurant that I would visit again. Wait staff was incredibly friendly, informative and careful about allergies at our table.

Awful. Came for Restaurant Week. Although they had the dessert we wanted, they decided to take it off the RW menu that was on their website. Because the remaining 2 choices didn't appeal to either of us and they wouldn't rectify their bait & switch, we ordered a la carte.
$25 + tax & tip for a tiny pedestrian salad.
To add insult to injury, I got to watch my friend eat her sandwich (lunch) for 20 minutes while I waited for mine. After she was finished eating, my salad (lunch) was brought to me.
If we had wanted to eat alone, we would have gone to separate restaurants.
A miserable, expensive experience.

I loved the energy at ABC Cocina. There were both traditional tapas items and creative small plates, including delicious vegetable dishes. Each dish came out promptly without feeling rushed, and was piping hot. There were no misses--we enjoyed everything. The grapefruit margarita was perfectly balanced and a perfect accompaniment to our meal. The noise level is high.

Went for a Restaurant Week lunch, and if all I was reviewing was the food, this would be a rave. But the overall experience was really compromised by service that left a lot to be desired. Our appetizers and main courses came so close together that we'd barely finished our first courses (with dirty plates left on the table) when one main course arrived. Several minutes went by before the second main arrived. No apology or explanation offered by any of the multiple servers who seemed to have been randomly assigned to our table. And then we waited an eternity for our desserts, which we had ordered at the outset as part of the three-course set menu. Then, we were never asked if we wanted coffee or tea - the check simply arrived.

Now for the wonderful an delicious food. Superb guacamole (not on the menu but well worth the extra cost), raw Brussels sprout salad, hamachi, fried fish sandwich, shrimp sautéed on q bed of quinoa. Every bite was outrageously good, and perfectly prepared.

Too bad we didn't fully enjoy the experience.

Met friends there for lunch on a busy Saturday and was quickly roped in by the innovative menu choices, both food and wine, and then blown away by how delicious all of our dishes were. Looking forward to another visit ASAP!

The music level was so loud our group had to shout to be heard. It wasn't "energetic" It was just noisy. The drinks list was bigger than the food list.
We chose the prix fix menu. All of the courses were cold. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. For a big name chef, this was poor quality.

The wait staff was good, however.

We had a fabulous dinner here! The BBQ tacos were the best, as well as the chicken tacos. We loved the chorizo sausage. Cocktails were great! We will definitely go back again when we are in NYC!

What an excellent experience the other day. From the moment I was greeted by the hostess to our waitress and staff, everyone was warm and welcoming. My friend and I shared some delicious tapas to start, then had our own meals - my burger was great, and he loved his cubano. The atmosphere was energetic. I look forward to the next meal there.

I heard good things about this place and it sorely disappointed. It is over-hyped and over-priced. The food was okay, nothing special. The vibe is very pretentious and a "look at me" crowd, which maybe is just not for me. Service was good though and someone recently told me the menu is always changing. So maybe it was just a bad night. Still, there are so many other options around here that I won't be returning.

Had dinner at ABC Cocina for my birthday. My husband and I ordered the crab fritters, which were quite tasty. We also had the fish tacos which were absolutely delicious. We also had the braised short ribs tacos, and those were really yummy. Lastly, we tried the empanadas, which were just mediocre. I felt that they needed more seasoning and spice. We also had the fig cocktail and passion fruit margarita. They were both very tasty. Overall it was a very nice experience.
