What Insiders Are Saying
ABC Cocina is the Flatiron-located, Latin-inspired sequel to ABC Kitchen, and it’s better than the original.
Our party of 2 had a wonderful late lunch at ABC Cocina. Service was lovely - very helpful and knowledgeable. We never felt rushed although we were by far the last table to leave. The food was inventive and delicious. Lots of gluten-free options. Our server suggested a Mexican, slightly effervescent white wine which was very different and delicious. We have been here several times before - we always leave happy - and we will return.
Idyllic as always - amazing food, perfect presentation, excellent service and while busy not overwhelmingly noisy. Love ABC!
Treated well; loved the service; even had amazing lobster
Food was delicious but portions are tiny. Not great value for money. Service was not great, numerous servers came and went and we felt rushed out despite a lot of empty tables.
Service was awful and crazy slow
Love, love, love ABC Cocina. Food is wonderful. Fabulous place to go with a group as small plates are great for sharing.
Was so good. Food excellent. Staff very nice. Loved it!
Lively. Charming. Delicious food.
We came to celebrate a 50th birthday & had a blast!
Great food, awesome service!
Lovely restaurant with friendly service. However, the word "cocina" implies Mexican cuisine, and as such, it was about as disappointing as possible. In fact, it was more pretentious than tasty: bland tacos and empanadas (no wonder there's a bottle of habera salsa on the table...without it, the food had no discernible flavor) and an overdressed salad.
We wanted something in the area close to movies ABC Cocina was right there 1st time Service was great and helpful, Can recommend the crab balls , empanadas are amazing waiter said they have a women that comes in to make the dough and you can tell so light I do laugh that opentable list this place as cheap isn't not the most expensive place in NY but wouldn't say it's cheap $ it's more $$ due to the wine list and it's tapas portions are small as tapas is but average tapas is $17 All that said will be back when in the area our Waiter was the best
Great food! A little noisy and crowded, but service was great. It just took a little bit to get seated but overall meal was very enjoyable. Loved the griddled fish tacos and the popsicle dessert.
Expected a little more out of the quality of food. Grilled octopus was excellent.
The food was outstanding! And our waiter was really awesome as well. Carefully addressing our concerns. One of my favorite places to dine.
I loved my experience at abc Cocina. The bar tender was very helpful, charming, and my drinks were amazing. The atmosphere and the service was wonderful. My only complaint was that there was a particular sauce, I think it was chipotle flavored, that was on several dishes. Some variation in that respect would have been great. But overall loved my experience and highly recommend!
Super pricy bad food
Waste of time and money
Good food, grrreeat environment no doubt at all!!!
Excellent to share...A bit too noisy but hey it was a Saturday night so can’t blame the good times roll ...
Amazing food and great service. Loved the passion fruit sangria. Only complaint is tiny portions. Our bill was massive and we didn’t leave feeling very full. Bad value for the money.
Highly recommend group of at least 4 so you can pick two plates per person. Food was very good and came out in a timely fashion. I really loved the spicy ham fritters. Cocktails were tasty and their special habañero hot sauce is so good! Definitely going back
Great food, service, and a wonderful atmosphere
great food, great music and service was great as well
Love the place!
Started on the early side at the bar with a spicy Margarita for me and a Basque white for my first wife. Then to our table for fluke, jamon, fish tacos and the best arroz con pollo ever!
My birthday dinner with my husband.
Read reviews and ordered shrimp, guac, chorizo & fish tacos. Sangria was excellent
Couldn't ask for more.
Service was very attentive.
I love the atmosphere here- industrial with the perfect amount of "pretty" glassware, flowers, sparkle. The dishes are plated so attractively and are wonderful combinations of flavors, foods that surprise. Loved the shaved brussel sprout salad and fish tacos. I'll be returning to taste more.
Best lobster EVER and consistently so!
My husband and i always look forward to returning here at the expense of trying other restaurants in the neighborhood
Fantastic restaurant. Always delivers a perfect experience or delicious food, fun yet romantic atmosphere and the best cocktails.
This was my second time there- everything was outstanding.
Great atmosphere, great food, and great service! Loved the brussel sprouts, fluke, and short rib tacos tapas.
We were ignored most of time we were there. Our waiter literally ignored us. A different waiter felt bad for us and took over our table about half way through our our prix fixe lunch.
Very negligent service. We had to get up and ask for our server at three different times during our meal.
I like ABC Cocina. I recommend this place to everybody.
Delicious food! So many healthy options! Loved it and can’t wait to come back.
Great dinner! Food was good, 2 plates per person is enough. Service was a little slow but very friendly.
Brest Mexican restaurant in NYC.
Food and cocktails out of this world, amazing service. 100% recommend.
the excellent food was overshadowed by the poor service, inattention of the wait staff. after initial contact, still had to ask for cocktails and water. slick atmosphere but a little spooky. overrated.
One of my favourites in Manhattan. Love it here
Cool looking and good vibe.
Food was somewhat unique and very good.
Definitely pricey and very loud.
Service was lackluster.
