Thia was the perfect restaurant for what we needed. Clean, fast service, good food and right next to all the theaters.
My son and I were very impressed. The food was absolutely fantastic, the drinks were great and so was the service. I had never been to this restaurant. It is very conveniently located and I will definitely return.
The waiter forgot to put our food order in. It was a little stressful as we were heading to see a band across the street. He owned it though, and was quite apologetic.
first time visiting Abby Lane. our server was excellent, the food was great and the location to our event was perfect.
Abby Lane was awesome. My husband and I ate there prior to the theatre. The service was spectacular, the food was scrumptious. Reasonable priced for Boston Market. I would recommend and go back again.
Great service! Outstanding food!
Birthday for one of my friends..
Very loud, hard to talk. Zucchini fries were SO fried (hardly any zucchini but lots of fried stuff), not very good. Some dishes better than others. Not terrible, not great.
Great food and drinks! Ordered The drink special “Seemed like a good idea at the thyme” it was delicious and had a cool presentation with sprigs of thyme in the glass. My hubby and I both order a burger and fries and they were cooked perfectly to order and very tasty. The fries were hot, crispy and delicious!! And that’s saying something since I don’t usually like French fries. Sever was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back.
Dinner Before a show! It’s a great option!
Loved it. Portions are smaller than expected-really small, but it was very good!
We shared a number of small plates - Hummus, cauliflower, sliders, burrata. All were delicious. We didn't love the zucchini fries so much as they were heavily breaded, but still good. Plenty of food for 4 people and great value!
Great place for a pre/post theatre bite or snack. The drinks are fun, the Impeachmint. My DC had the tuna which was delish. The donuts were fun and the 3 sauces were great but the vanilla cream was a standout. I could have had a whole bowl!
Although we had made reservations weeks ago, and there were many empty tables when we arrived, they refused to seat us at a better table. Food was awful - over cooked mahi, a Caesar salad dressing that was tasteless, just ugh. Server was good and trying, but she had too many tables to care for at the same time. Basically a tourist trap in the theater district.
Great experience, with wonderful service. Tables for 2 were pretty close together, but food was amazing!
Great location for dinner as we were seeing Jim Gaffigan at The Wilbur. The food and service were very good. We expected noisy but it was LOUD, more the guests that were the issue than the restaurant. We will be back again but will likely try another place on our next night out in the area.
My husband and I were in Boston for a night and had our college sophomore meet us for supper with a friend. We had a really nice time and the staff couldn’t of been more friendly! The food was very good, filling, well cooked and so tasty!!
Good spot for before a show, convenient to Wilbur. We sat at upstairs bar the vibe was fun, upbeat. Food was decent but I wouldn’t make a special
I wouldn’t say I I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant. I’d recommend it if in a pinch before a show. But other than that my drink was not that great and very small. And the food was just so so. Not anything special or that great. Service was good though.
Great food and service. Very noisy. Overall a great place. We went before Kevin James and had a great meal
Concert at Shubert
We went to Abby Lane for dinner before a show, and the food and drinks were delicious! I highly recommend the steak tips!
Excellent all around. Terrific food and bevs and really outstanding service. First visit but definitely not the last.
We had a great time pre-theatre. Excellent creative drinks and a waiter who was very good at helping us decide. This was an early show so it was not that crowded and we had wonderful people watching window seats. A very fun time. We just had appetizers but everything wad delicious.
Went for a pre-show dinner with kids. Cocktails were sub-par and menu was lacking. Everything looked good from a menu perspective, but when it arrived we were disappointed with everything. Fries were coated in something gross. Nachos were, too! Yes, that's right. The tortilla chips tasted weird and it's because they put on a coating (gluten on top of corn). Ahi tuna was too vinegary. Caesar salad was tasteless. Glad it was near the venue but never need to visit again.
Great staff, apps were okay, dinner was awesome. The table by the window overlooking the street was nice!
Quality bistro style food.
We had a pre-theater dinner at Abby Lane and were very pleased to have been seated in the second-floor dining room, which is more elegant and less noisy than the street-level dining room. Our server, Lily, was wonderful - friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The food was very good.
We enjoyed our dinner. The nachos were great and quite large. I had the tuna entree and it was very good.
It could be a coincidence but downstairs was all white patrons but my party and two others ahead of us were all seated upstairs. This was my first time dining here and the service and food were good. But upon walking back downstairs to leave we noticed that and it made us wonder the reasoning behind that.
We were running late and 20 minutes past our reservations. No problem, they had our table ready and sat us right away. Knowing we were going to a show our waitress was right on top of things making sure that we received everything we ordered in a timely manner. The food and drinks were amazing!
The food was really good. Decent drink menu as well. Discount if your seeing a show is a plus.
I hadn't been to Abby Lane prior to this visit, and ended up there twice in one day: once at lunch that was catered for an event we were attending, and evening for dinner with a client. Excellent food, great people and AMAZING drinks. Def going back.
Shrimp scampi had no flavor whatsoever. Shrimp and noodles..,,very bland!!!
Delicious food! Attentive service!! We were 15 minutes late for our reservation and we still were able to get seated
Took a little while to get our drinks, but once we put in our order, our drinks and food came promptly.
Friendly and fast service of creative dishes that were tasty and well presented
Best place to dine pre-theater.
