What a gem! We stumbled upon this treasure by accident. We had the fried green tomato salad - excellent! My scallops were superb and my husband can't stop raving about his dish which contained lima beans. He doesn't even like lima beans and he ate every morsel. This is our ew favorite spot!n
We met friends from Massachusetts for dinner - our choice of restaurant. Everyone enjoyed the evening. Everyone had brisket - it was great!
Gave this place a try for dinner as it had good reviews on Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint! Good bloody marys, music and food! Nice spot to dine in Siesta Key Village.
Aaron's Fishcamp was recommended to my husband and me, but we were so disappointed!
I had made a reservation, and we were excited when we arrived, because the outside seating area had a great atmosphere and music. But the hostess walked us through that area, and seated us in their inside space. We were all alone there for about a half hour. She explained that I should have asked for outside seating, but since I am from another state, I didn't know that I had to do that. She insisted that there was not a place anywhere for us outside.
Beyond that, my husband's draft beer was flat, and the smoked brisket he ordered was a huge pile of tough, inedible meat. He sent it back to the kitchen.
We had looked forward to an enjoyable evening at Aaron's Fishcamp, but spent less than an hour there. Our waitress was accommodating, but the seating, food and beer made our dinner a bust!
From the appetizers to dessert and all the drinks in between. The service was exemplary. I can’t say enough good things. It was a great choice for our Valentine's Day. Thanks
Unfortunately, the night started out on a bad note; we had a reservation made onOpen Table for 8 at 7:15 but when we arrived we were told they did not have our reservation and blamed OpenTable saying they had problems with people using it. I have to say they did seat us but we did have to wait quite a while. I use Opentable frequently and have never had a problem so my feeling is it is the restaurant's problem. Once seated we did wait a bit for service but the waitress was great and the food excellent. We will go back again and hopefully won't have a problem with our reservation.
A group of six high school/college friends enjoyed a night of conversation and dining at Aarons Fishcamp The food was great, the server accommodating, the kitchen overwhelmed (holiday week end) and the location perfect. You see, we selected Aarons because it was less than a block from our hotel and one of our party has difficulty walking long distances. That we got a fun place with good food was a bonus! Also, they take reservations. The place next door does not.
really a shack of a place, but great seafood, very fresh and well prepared and definitely worth the wait for a table.
wonderful food and really great guitarist playing during dinner Monday. Such a fun evening, he carefully solicited song requests and was so talented. The food is delicious and servers great.
The only item we enjoyed were the brussel sprouts. Very disappointed. All the booth seats were torn. Forks prongs were bent out of shape.😟 By looking at their menu online I assumed it would be nice.
