We have been going to ATH since the earliest days of the business. This is the first time going since the restaurant was sold to a new owner in the Speing 2017. I was very impressed. The food and service was every bit as good, even a touch better. This visit we had about five or six of the small plates and they were all great. We skipped entrees and dessert. Will will go back and try more dishes.

The service was very good and the waitstaff was friendly. The mussels in all three ways were fantastic. We weren’t rushed and had a really enjoyable evening. The restaurant was cozy and the noise level was fine . Parking can be a challenge but there is a town parking lot a few doors before the restaurant.
Really really good french type cuisine in very quiet setting. Grilled octupus and chicken was fantastic as was the grouper. Friendly service. One of the best restaurants in Union County
I’m very disappointed with the owners’ lack of transparency regarding their special occasion pricing. Their menu on Open Table for New Years Eve was not updated to reflect their New Years Eve pricing nor were the sky high prices reflected on their menu when we sat down at our table. I can understand hiking prices for special occasions, but the owners’ total lack of transparency on their pricing seems rather underhanded. In any event, $300 plus for a dinner for 2 at a BYO is completely ridiculous anywhere west of the Hudson River regardless of the occasion. Food and service were good, though.
The restaurant is very cute And feels like a farm home. However, the menu is very limited, the food is simply fine (not wow!) and is overpriced - with no reasonable priced options. The mussels in the fondue had little flavor and the black bass was tasty, but not anything special. I won’t be going back - as there are too many other good restaurants that have a fuller menu, more reasonably priced with better tasting food.
We always looked forward to coming here for special occasions. However, this time for my wife's birthday, after a change of owners, it no longer feels special. We didn't have a good first impression, when, upon arriving, we were pointed to our table and not escorted to our seats. The staff, although competent, was not as personable as the previous staff. Although never inexpensive, the prices seemed to be more extreme. The presentation of my M.C.S. (Mexican Corn Salad) appetizer seemed somewhat haphazard and not very appealing. The dish itself was ok, but if I ever return, I would not order it. My wife enjoyed her Brussel sprouts, bringing the leftovers of the large portion home. She also enjoyed her entrée of scallops, except for the bits of sand that remained, demonstrating less than pristine preparation. My pork chop was large and well-prepared. However, again, the presentation left something to be desired, burying the accompanying vegetables in a flat mess under the chop. For desert I had a healthy portion of crème brulee, which was very good. However, my wife's apple crisp was not what she expected. It had an apple slice and cubes strewn about, some smears of caramel on the plate, and what seemed like an afterthought of crisp/crumbs tossed on the side. Also, her birthday candle was presented on my desert, not hers.
Although not bad, our experience was only good, not special. It didn't match our very positive experiences with the previous owners/management/staff, especially at these premium prices. I don't anticipate returning any time soon.
We had a standing reservation at the old place for years - ate there more than 100 times. This is just not close to what it once was. Prices have not changed but the product surely has. Sad to say but we won’t be rushing back.
Honestly, I knew something wasn’t right when we sat down. Now that I’m home and googled it, I can see that the ownership changed in March. Not a disappointing experience, but certainly not what it was. Service wasn’t as great and knowledge of product just wasn’t there. They need to step it up to stay on top.
