A Touch of Italy impresses from the first smell of the wood fire pizza oven while walking to the door, to the quant and quiet ambiance with a fire place in the dinning room. Calamari was very good. Fresh baked bread basket was warm and full. Entrees were good. Pizza was probably the best of the offerings though. Seafood ravioli was a little dry in the middle. Service was excellent. My only real complaint was the karaoke sounding live music they had. I asked the waitress why a place like this would have karaoke and she said "oh no, that's the live entertainment we pay for". Oh....my bad. The singer was too loud and not good at all. I would invest in a Sirius XM for business satellite radio, put it on the Sinatra channel and let Dean, Frank and Sammy handle the entertainment if I was them. Limoncello cake was excellent.
Salad, apps, main course and dessert were all fantastic.
Great service staff and kitchen
This is my favorite place, for every occasion and simply every day dining. My husband and I are vegan; our friends are not. And every meal was just perfect. The service is outstanding as well.
Great dinner at a reasonable price! Everything from greeting at door, to seating, waiter and service through dinner and dessert was a really nice experience. Great value as well. We got lucky with their Parm tuesday. It was ~60$ for 2 dinners, 2 salads, 1 dessert and a bottle of wine!
The food, veal over pasta, was better than most I've eaten. The service was good, thanks to the busboys. After the waitress took the order, the busboys delivered the bread, salad and entrée.
Only complaint is the noise from the bar area. Don't go if you want to enjoy a meal with pleasant conversation.
Have visited many times for MANY Years and the service and atmosphere are terrific.
Always a great meal
There 9 of us for Easter Dinner the service was great and the food was perfect. I have been to The Touch of Italy many times and I have never been disappointed. Would recommend.
Food was outstanding and well presented. Service was impeccable and friendly, our server anticipated all of our needs (drink refills, etc.). Owner made his way around to introduce himself and check on our meals and service. Definitely will return soon.
we have been here many times, and I can say never had a bad meal. Love it
veal os the best you can get anywhere
Great service & Food
Always a great experience! Food is spectacular!!!
Had dinner for 5, on a Sunday evening. Food came out hot and delicious. Server paced our meal just right. Not too slow and not too fast. Highly recommend
We love it at the touch of Italy
Dinner was amazing and our waitress was so nice and polite. The cannolis were a A++ Can’t wait to go again.
The food was delicious! Can’t wait to go back. The calamari was one of the best I’ve had.
Consistently great food, customer service is obviously important, Scott & his team value happy dining experiences!! Why go anywhere else??!
We usually go to dinner during the week, special occasion birthday we had to go on a Saturday. A little nosier than usual.
Fraternity Brothers from all over the country (ages 19-75) were in town for our annual business meeting. We made reservations for 12 of us. It quickly ballooned to 16 but the staff took it in stride. They graciously accommodated us. The meals were superb. I'd like to go back to sample some of the other menu items.
Food excellent, service was good, only problem was the bar was overcrowded and you couldn’t hear anything with the 2 pc band they had playing so everyone was screaming! Went there for a special occasion which was a bad idea on a Saturday i guess, if you do go for a date or special occasion ask to be in the front might be a lil quieter there, but for everyday dining it is good!
Awesome restaurant! Great service, awesome food in an atmosphere that is clean and comfortable. This is a very well run establishment. Highly recommended.
The staff were very welcoming, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very pleasant and romantic
Everything was wonderful food was amazing. Except entire meal took around 2 hours. Everything was spread out even time wise just seamed a little long for a restaurant that wasn't packed but we where on a date so worked out. Had a nice long romantic dinner. And great desserts.
Best Italian restaurant I have been too in New Jersey, maybe just period.
Made reservations for Valentine's Day,it was a mistake. Too many people,EXTREMELY LOUD,no background music while the band wasn't there, and we weren't pleased with the holiday type menu. Seated at a small table, food barely fit on table.
Amazing!!!! They truly ha be the best fish in town!! Great service and ambience at a reasonable price!
Everything was superb! The service and food could not have been better. They had a lobster special that came with homemade lobster ravioli that was outstanding! The owner even stopped at our table to ensure that everything was fine.
I highly recommend for great food and service.
Wonderful as always
We had dinner to celebrate my wife’s birthday with our family. Great food and excellent service! Scott the maître d always makes you feel at home!
Food was good, drinks not quite as good as usual, but the regular red headed bartender was not there. Also were sat in a different room off to side that I didn’t know existed.
Excellent meal last night. A bit noisy but what restaurant isn’t anymore? Service slow in the beginning but improved as the meal wore on.
Oysters were so great we ordered another serving!!! Salads are crisp & fresh, great flavors. Fried Shrimp ( who orders that @ Touch? ) were spot on! My husband's Sirloin was tough...flavor was good, but really tough....we'll be back anyway!
Food was good but when I order Chicken Milanese I expect more than a plate with one piece of fried chicken cutlet. The broiled flounder was a lone piece of fish on a plate for $25. While it was prepared well, you expect "more" for that price. Our side for each dish was sautéed broccoli. It had not been sautéed as it was wet with the water it was boiled in and the stems were to hard to enjoy. The best meal was the brick oven pizza. It was a nice average personal pie. Ask for a martini with a wedge of lemon - got a vodka martini with lemon juice added.
We could have gone to the local diner, had the same meal and paid half the price.
I don’t know why I bother with the menu, because I always order a special. This time it was seafood ravioli and it was delicious!
I was very impressed with A Touch of Italy and will definitely go back. This wasn't my first time there however it always seems to get better every time I go. The owners are very friendly and often visit the table to check on things. We had a Margarita Pizza and sauteed calamari followed with Seafood Raviolis and their Homemade Lasagna. Everything was delicious!
Another great meal at Touch of Italy. We have not been disappointed yet and will definitely return.
Always a great meal. However packed the parking lot is they always seem to seat you right away.
Never disappointed @ Touch!☆♡ excellent service, food is spot on in every way!
