A Modo Mio
This modern yet charming restaurant welcomes diners with warm colors, comfortable seating and plenty of natural lighting. Guests can eat in the dining room or on the outdoor patio while enjoying the peaceful sounds of the ocean.
The menu consists of Italian cuisine with refreshing, seasonal influences. Menu items include homemade pastas, braised short ribs, and grilled filet of branzino. Chef Antonio adds a modern twist to his dishes, all while staying true to classic Italian recipes. Be sure to come in for lunch and try an authentic panino!
Fabulous! Everything was above expectations!
Not good for kids. Felt rushed.
First time at A Modo Mio and we will be back. They greeted us warmly and our table was ready. Wait staff patiently answered our questions about the entrees. The steamed clams were wonderful, the seafood in our entrees was perfectly cooked and all were served piping hot. A truly wonderful experience.
Always a great meal!
In fact I did recommend your restaurant while I was shopping in Stone Harbor someone asked where was a good restaurant and my friends and I highly recommended A Modo Mio to them. All of our meals were delicious and our server Maria was outstanding.
Excellent as always!!
Amazing food amazing service. Couldn’t have had a better experience. I would recommend this to everyone and anyone. Will be back!
Great as always
This is an excellent restaurant and one we always look forward to returning to when we visit Sea Isla. This most recent experience was no exception and we look forward to our next meal there.
Highly recommend the gnocchi! We will be back for sure!
The best in Sea Isle City!
Always our favorite place to eat.
I have been here many times and have enjoyed my meals!
The last 2 visits we have had different experiences . Our food has not been good at all and we have felt rushed out of the restaurant. I will be looking for a different restaurant to bring my out of town guest to.
Never a disappointment.. Eric and the crew are wonderful!
This is a “Bring Your Own” wine establishment. While the food is excellent, the prices are a bit on the high side.
Good, as usual. Food always served hot
Fantastic food cooked to order! Not rushed! We had special request due to food allergies and they met our needs exceedingly! From waitstaff to chef, outstanding!! It was also nice to see entries under $30 in Sea Isle at this caliber of restaurant.
Service was great. Food was delicious. Prices are good. BYOB. It’s one of our go to restaurants!!!
Our dinners were very good. Pork chop, and Gorgonzola chicken, plus pasta dishes. Apps not so good, octopus was skinny. We waited 1 hour after our apps for our dinner to arrive. Gratuity for 6 was included but our waitress didn’t tell us just happened to check it again because it seemed to high
this is a terrific place that always meets or exceeds expectations.....the kind of place that you hope no on else knows about, but they all do!
We chose to sit outside. Unfortunately our table was off the main street, and at the very end around the corner so we felt somewhat like outcasts. Also there was no light at the this table which would have made it impossible to eat in the dark. The staff accommodated as best they could so in the end it tuned out to be a very enjoyable meal. Great staff!!
So good, we want to keep it a secret. The secret is already out. Best Veal Saltimbocca on the east coast.
We love this restaurant! Food is amazing and fresh. We booked on open table and were seated in the dining room to the right of the entrance. There was a large party of about 18/20 and we were seated right next to them, every table was empty but we were seated right next to the large (loud) party. We were hoping for a nice quiet date dinner. Other than that we do really like this restaurant!,
Dined early in the evening before the Friday crush. Excellent all aground as we’ve come to expect from our favorite SIC restaurant.
Service was suberb. Mary our waitress was very attentive. Our water glasses were never empty.
Both of us got the specials. Lobster ravioli and Chilean sea bass. Delicious and the presentation was outstanding. I had the special argula salad with pears. The dressing was light and tasty. Yes great place to go for a special dinner. Can be a bit noisy
Awesome restaurant and amazing service!
Awesome short rib and risotto.
Always accommodating without a reservation.
We finished the night with cheesecake and tartufo.
This is by far our favorite restaurant in SeaIsle
All the food was very good. Staff was friendly and very nice.
Very nice. Good food
Our meals were very good . However it was very warm in restaurant , it was very loud , and the lighting was horrible .
Would rather dine here in the off season!
Great restaurant Fabulous. Food nice service very good seashore restaurant
There were 5 of us. We were seated promptly. Service was good. Seemed to be a little delay with our food but when it was served, all of us agreed - IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!! We will be back!
Our favorite restaurant in Sea Isle City! We love the food, the pasta is home made, everything is fresh, and their specials are so creative! Last weekend the appetizer special was fried zucchini blossoms, stuffed with prosciutto & served on a bed of eggplant reduction! Mushroom ravioli is a perennial favorite. Others in our party raved about the braised lamb shank and the mahi mahi. Service is always good (thank you Shannon!) Highly recommend A Modo Mio, but be sure to make a reservation if you're dining in July or August!
Service was wonderful- food was delicious - portions on the large size-not a lot of ambiance- restroom was literally 2 feet from one member of our party
The food was terrific, well presented, tasty, clearly Italian Fine Cuisine. Couple of disappointing details: we were two couples and the waitress refused to provide separate checks, the table was street side and we were sitting next to a wooden palisade behind which was a roaring compressor, luckily, we were not in a romantic mood.
I must say that I was a bit disappointed with the food after getting a number of recommendations from friends. The bottle of wine was opened but then left on the table and never offered to pour or pour the wine for us. We shared a salad which was rather watery and small and not especially tasty even with the dressing. I had the veal but the sage gave it a different taste and one I was not especially fond of; and, not as tender as it should have been; came with potatoes and a lovely veg mix--getting sides w/out a la carte is always a plus for me! My friend had the sea bass in parchment which again was watery, maybe from the steam and a rather small piece of fish but it did come with a number of shrimp--tasty and good and enjoyed though. The dessert of the Limoncello Cake was absolutely delicious! light and tasty!
Spoke to friends and most of them had ordered the homemade pasta and were surprised that we didn't LOVE the food and place. Would try again though. Our waitress was pleasant and helpful but the maître d didn't seem very friendly and hardly said hello, let alone, did you enjoy and good bye. The noise level was way too loud.
Family get together
Love this place! BYOB. The service is always excellent. The food is delicious. We always look forward to the specials which are seasonal and creative. That it is open year round is a bonus. The off-season is quiet and romantic. During the season, it is noisier but not too bad.
Highly recommend this restaurant. The food was excellent from the salad to the pasta dishes to the seafood entree. Go! You will not be disappointed!
