   As always a great night with my wife... shame it was the last night for the current owners and chef. I am looking forward to visiting for the new experience in a couple of months

   This was a farewell meal at our neighborhood French restaurant. It is closing this weekend, but I understand that a new French restaurant will rise from the ashes of the one now closing. Lovely food, attentive friendly service, a nice neighborhood atmosphere all contribute to a pleasant experience. Prices are fair. The departing owners sent an email broadcast to their customers to say that they are handing off to someone they know and trust, so there is reason to hope that an equally good restaurant will remain at this location.

   Very appealing menu; hard to choose. Great food. Respectful, pleasant service. Low noise making it nice for visiting. Great view.

   The view of the city from this intimate restaurant is beautiful! I had the NY strip, which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by delicious mushrooms and potatoes!

   The food was delicious! I live nearby and La Bonne Franquette is consistently excellent! The food is fresh and the quality never disappoints. The husband and wife team are gracious and fun! You will not be sorry.

   This was my first visit to A la bonne Franquette. My experience from start to finish was just right. Competent friendly service, nice ambiance, wonderful views of downtown Seattle, and excellent food. I had the trout. It was prepared perfectly. My friend had the scallops. Equally excellent. The bar service is also quite good. If you seek a small quiet spot to unwind in a nice setting with excellent food and service, this gem will suit you perfectly. I will be back, hopefully on a regular basis.

   I ate here with my folks. The service was great and the appetizers came out really fast. The scallop special was incredible. Our only issue was that Dads chicken was under done. It was still bloody. Although they took it back to re-fry it, he was sitting there for ages while me and mum ate. We ended up giving him most of our food and by the time his chicken emerged he was over it. I'm pretty sure most of it was still under cooked, he just ate around the sides leaving majority behind. Sadly they didn't comp the meal, only offered a dessert on the house. I'd go back, just avoid the chicken.

   The service was unbelievably slow. We had a reservation for 8 pm and finally got our food close to 9 pm. The food was only okay, not worth the prices at all.
