Made a reservation online and when I arrived, the restaurant was closed. Wish they had either sent an alert or called.
Came for restaurant week. Ordered the three courses for $33 and it took an hour and 45 minutes to complete our meal. Noted that a party of 5 that was seated after us received their drinks and meals promptly, before us and another party of three that were there even before us. The party of 5 seemed to be "friends" of the restaurant. The food was quite good, but the service was too slow to warrant another visit. The space is very loud when busy.
Came to celebrate a special occasion with my family. Restaurant was extremely under staffed, appetizers came out an hour after being seated (we didn’t order anything that needed to be cooked). Dinner came out about 45 mins later, some things were cold or over cooked. Super disappointing.
We had a condescending waiter and that tainted the whole dining experience. The decor and atmosphere was great, the food was good, but I will not be quick to return, if at all, as I did enjoy the experience with our server.
We were a party of 3 and 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill.
We did the Seattle Restaurant week deal, but even then - the portions were very small and everything outside the Seattle Restaurant pre set menu was overpriced. The entree and dessert were rather good, the kale salad was not. It's too much money for the food and for the ambiance. On the upside: parking was great, which is exceptional for a restaurant in the Main Street area of Bellevue.
Used to be better . Service was poor even though we were only 3 tables at lunch. ??
Our service took awhile from sitting down at the table to when we ordered. After the courses came out, our server was able to check in with us often and our water was always refilled. Food was filled with flavors but plating could use work.
The food was amazing as usual. The service was not great this time around. We ordered a side to share with our SRW meal and it came when we were finished with our entree. Our dessert also took very long to come. They apologized for both instances however took nothing off of our bill and still charged 20% tip. Hope it’s better next time.
We had brunch and overall it was not impressive. I always hear their donuts are amazing. We ordered the donuts and they were pretty decently good. I ordered eggs Benedict with Ham but was brought out eggs Benedict with Dungeness crab. I didn't complain and tried the eggs Benedict. There was barely any crab on the English muffin and the poached eggs were practically raw. Whenever I go out I always usually get eggs Benedict anywhere I go. This is probably the worst place I have gone to get eggs Benedict. My boyfriend had chicken and waffles and he liked his plate. Overall service was alright and the food I think is overpriced on what you are getting on your plate.
Felt rushed service was minimal quiet night at the time
Feel like it has fallen food wise and service
Worst overall service I’ve had dining out in a long time. From the manager to the waitress, this place needs a big lesson on customer service. It’s too bad because the food is decent, but definitely not worth going back to, to be treated like garbage.
The food was ok, kind of bland. We ordered about 6 items off the menu. We went for restaurant week but we only wanted to do one restaurant week tasting, then pick a few regular menu items. They said we had to both order off the restaurant week menu if that’s what we wanted. He used the excuse of the kitchen having to work out the timing of the dishes. Which wouldn’t matter because we were sharing everything. They actually ended up losing money because oddly, what we ordered off the regular menu was almost $30 less than what we would’ve spent on the restaurant week menu with wine paring. And we got a bottle of wine vs. 3 half glasses with the paring. I think they want to be fine dining or fancy but they are not quite there. They were out of one large plate item on the menu which of course was the only large plate vegetarian option. It was a lobster mushroom dish, and the substitute they offered, vegetable stir fry. I’d be embarrassed as the server and chef to have such a lame substitute for a dish that had lobster mushroom as the main part. It’s a huge downgrade. Disappointed. Won’t go back and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Ordered two steaks which came prepared not as we ordered. Had to share one plate when other plate was returned to be cooked as ordered. The plate size was small and was expensive. For two main courses and one wine cost was 96 bucks. Service and quality of food was not worth half of that amount!!
With all reflecting wood/metal surfaces and an open space, it gets quite loud. However the tables are far enough apart to allow you to join in the chaos without disturbing the nearby guests. The food is superb, which is the point to 99 Park. Just-right portions prepared expertly. Parking can be a challenge.
Excellent customer service and even better food! We had a lovely first time experience and will be returning soon. Love the decor.
Pleasant meal with very good cocktails. Extremely quiet on a Sunday night. Lamb had unfortunate "fatty/mutton" flavor but everything else was exquisite.
Food quality has become inconsistent. Burnt potatoes. Minimal crab and hollandaise. Mushy corn chips. Minimal brisket. Really sad as I used to love this spot!
Loved taking my foodie friend here for brunch on her birthday. The grapefruit brulee was delicious and I just think grapefruit is ok usually. The donuts were great treat with a candle in it at the end of our meal. Loved being able to sit on the patio and watch people coming and going from Bellevue Park across the street.
Food quality not up to their usual standards. Must have a new cook. Eggs Benedict had undetectable crab.
Also expected at least one lunch type choice on brunch menu.
We hadn't been to 99 Park for more than a year, but wanted to return for dinner last week.
It was a fine early evening dinner and was a good deal more quiet (noise) than our last visit. Our waiter was very helpful and clearly explained the menu choices to us.
Dinner was delicious and my wife enjoyed her desert.
We'll be back sooner for our next visit.
We met friends for lunch. Small menu but excellent variety of choices and very good food. Nice wine menu good drinks. Good service. Would go back again for lunch or dinner.
Food quality seems to have deteriorated.
Chicken mole was terrible, soggy meat and mole was paste like. NY steak was cooked appropriately but measly portion.
Not going back
Nice patio, the good sized menu at decent prices (despite unusual small portions) make this is a good neighborhood option. My recommendation is to go with a larger group and share everything!
great fries and save room for dessert. Exceptonal service!
Food was great. Service was a little slow at first. Hostess forgot to check us in under OpenTable.
Excellent food, if small portions. Service was spotty but it could have been because it was a Tuesday night. Overall, though, a very good dining experience.
We decided to try a number of things and order small plates and sides to share. Shishito peppers, grilled octopus, and roasted beets with goat cheese were very good. Wasn't as wild about the lamb tartar. Service was very good and enjoyed eating outside on the patio on a warm night.
I was surprised I was never contacted by phone to confirm the reservation, but Open Table did sent two messages regarding the reservation, telling me I had two before and 1/2 hour to go to
99 Park for my reservation.
I was there for Brunch and it was fine, they were out of a few things because of the beautiful weather and crowds, but the food was good and the service was excellent. stayed later than usual to sit outside on patio and had an additional glass of wine.
I would recommend.
Coffee cup arrived with lipstick stains all over it. Staff seemed to just wipe it off (no new cup!)
Thought we'd try this with some friends having visited the park one night and liking the look of the outdoor terrace. Sat inside on an evening that outside would've been very pleasant, but it certainly didn't diminish our experience or the mood. Our waitress Alexa was gorgeous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, very engaging & funny! Would /will go back for sure! All the food we chose was delicious, fresh - the fresh oysters and smoked bone marrow an absolute highlight!
Came towards closing time, but was given impeccable hospitality. The food was delicious
My daughter and I went to lunch after shopping. We enjoyed great service & food.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff. The food was very good and fresh!
Very good food. Small portions. High prices.
The halibut is worth it. The New York Asada is not. Asparagus tasted "gassy". Appetizers are good.
great food but expensive. Menu has not changed much over past 12 months. which limits choices to a favorite few. Terrific bread but you must ask for it. Wine list is very good.
$28 for a glass of so-so wine was way excessive for quality. Bring your own wine with $25 corkage if you dare. Limited menu and moderate quality. They were not busy and I can see why. Nearby are so many good quality restaurants so they need to improve to be competitive.
Service was good not thrilled with oysters, how they were shucked gritty with bits of shells a tree was great halibut ... desert great habanero ice cream creative and delicious
The small plates were perfect for ordering a few and sharing amongst the table. The octopus was good and not at all smelly or rubbery. The gioia burrata was really lovely. The beets were not our favorite preparation. For dessert, the mini donuts were fab and I really liked the s'mores for something different. While the beer in tap was not extensive, the offerings were top notch choices.
All of the staff was amazing, responsive, and super friendly!
Great restaurant. Surprised more people don't know about it. Food is delicious. Decor is terrific. Staff is really friendly. Outdoor patio is great.
