900 Park Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
We had the grandma pizza...amazing. The chef also came out to greet us. However, the menu was not what is posted on open table website. They had no idea of the reservation I made on open table. The waiter was unknowledgeable and inattentive. Nice to have option of outdoor dining and indoor dining.
Had to grab a waiter to see who was going to take our order. Eventually the bartender came over. Service was slow. My chicken was not fully cooked. Never saw our bartender/waiter again. Had to find someone for check. Check included the uncooked chicken. Very disappointed as the reviews on OpenTable were so promising.
The people here are great the waiter was very attentive..everyone was nice. Unfortunately, based on the food alone it's not worth recommending. My shrimp was extremely over cooked almost like eating a tire the shrimp linguine was really bad. Absolutely no flavor. My husband ordered lamb with broccoli rabe and that was extremely bland too. We ordered a few coco loso's but they were basically just glasses filled of ice. Maybe it was a bad night for the chef but the food definitely could have been better.
Disappointment is a understatement I went to Saturday brunch at 11:30 AM they offer Prefix menus. I don't know where to start... I guess it would be fair to start by discussing the poor service . The waiter had zero personality he seemed like he did not want to be there and could careless about what we wanted or how we want it. I asked him a simple question which sangria is better and he responded well we have red and we have white that was his response!!! I ordered the red and it was terrible.
They only have 3 breakfast items! After I ordered I was told that they were out of the part of the meal the waiter not the chef accommodated or made an suggestion. I finally order an omelet and guess what... it is burned. At this point I just want to get drunk because of the bottomless option so I ordered another sangria but guess what they were out of sangria!
Did I mention that my friend and I were the only two people in the entire restaurant at 11:30am. How is it possible that they are out of not only food items but also a popular drink item!
Never again will I step foot in that place
I walked in and I looked for someone who looked like they worked at the restaurant and I told them I had a reservation. A woman told me to just sit any where do my friend and I went on the patio without menus or any settings. The decor was beautiful. We were greeted by our server who then gave us menus and asked us if we wanted anything to drink. We told him to come back in the meantime the same woman who told us to sit wherever sat a table with menus behind us. I thought that was a little odd. My friend and I ordered an appetizer and 2 entries and a bottle of wine.. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman who served us our wine. He was very pleasant. Our appetizer took about 34 min to come out and our food took an additional 20 min after that. The food was overall pretty decent
I had planned a dinner reservation for my girlfriends birthday last Thursday night and I had flowers delivered to the place before we arrived. When we got to the place our table was ready with all that I requested. There are a great staff friendly and very helpful . I cant wait for my next reservation. Till next time I want to say thank you to the young lady that I made the reservation with I cant remember her name but she was awesome!!!
My fiance and I went on a Wednesday night thinking the crowds would be at a minimum and the service wouldn't be so rushed. We and another couple were the ONLY ONE'S inside the restaurant and I have never been to an establishment that rushed me to put in my order from the start. It wasn't like the staff was overwhelmed with patrons. We ordered a coco loso...watery. Coconut shrimp for an appetizer...they had none and had to order something else I didn't really want. Fiance ordered chicken francese...overpowering lemon taste. We weren't too upset by the service because we got a great deal on Groupon to try this place out. The experience definitely left a bad taste in our mouths.
We'll never go back for dinner but we will try brunch. Which I hear is excellent. We'll see.
The food was great and they were very accommodating for our party of seven. Our waiter kind of disappeared on us, but others came over to check on us through dinner. I don't know if he was new or what. He failed to tell the kitchen that my brother asked for a caesar and not the house salad. I also asked for the potato croquette with my entree and received pasta instead. When I told a passing employee, they threw some vegetables on top of the pasta and brought it back out to me. Kind of weird, but the rest of the dinner was good and the entrees were very generous.
I was skeptical that the brunch would have gone downhill since the new owners took over but I have to say, everything was wonderful. Service is still at the same high quality, maybe even a little better than it use to be. Cold seafood seems to be a higher quality than what use to be served before the new owners took over. My only complaint was that the eggplant rolantini and penne vodka were cold. They can't count on sternos to heat up food, yes they'll keep it warm but food should be put out hot to avoid it being cold at the start of brunch.
Came here for Mothers Day with the family for the afternoon dinner buffet. The food was awesome, fresh, lots of varieties, different food coming out eat time when something was finished. The buffet always had different selections each time you went up, enough to get you so full that you cannot even go home. My family enjoyed it. The desert table was okay but still they bought out a different desert each time, but by that time you are so full that you do not want to keep getting up to get another kind of desert. Planning to go back and check out their happy hour specials with my husband.
We went to brunch to celebrate with my family for my sisters birthday!! It was very nice, I was amazed how everyone was so attentive to us. the only thing is when it's time to sing the happy birthday song, they should coordinate on getting more workers to sing and make the birthday ambiance better!! But other than that it was beautiful!! Thank you
Not a place I will go back to. The restaurant looks almost like a diner from the street. I was expecting something nicer. The bar lounge does look nice for those after dinner or just having cocktails gatherings. The wait staff were fine. The fried calamari was tasteless. Our entrees were good, but nothing special. There was a large party off the main dining area, 85 guests for a birthday party and only curtains separated that room from the main room. There was a DJ for the party and it got loud. I wanted a nice dinner but got a bit less than anticipated.
Service was very spotty, when we flagged down one guy he was very helpful and got us the napkins and silver and water that should have been served on our arrival. But, then the actual waiter came along and really didn't know the admittedly extensive menu. My husband ordered the vegetable lasagna which arrived more like an Alfredo soup with some bits of vegetables and patches of lasagna noodles swimming in it. No red sauce at all. I think they hadn't prepared this lasagna ahead of time and so improvised badly. Sent it back and ordered the pasta primavera (Husband can't eat butter, cream) that we were told would be fresh veggies lightly sauteed in oil and garlic over pasta. Came back, tired boiled to death vegetables in a vodka cream sauce. AGain, he didn't want the cream , so picked around the sauce and ate a few of the veggies. We just wanted out of there at this point. My choice, Christopher's pasta, with shrimp , arugula and sun dried tomatoes was much more palatable. Shrimp cooked nicely, maybe a little too much brown sauce, but veggies were fresh and not overcooked. As the bread and olive oil first served at the table were excellent, we had high hopes for this place. An oasis possibly in Morris Park. But, were sadly disappointed. My son swears by the chicken parm. Maybe best to stick to the tried and true here. Or question the manager closely about what goes into the preparation of any dish.
The brunch here is the BEST in any Borough in NYC. They have an all you can eat brunch that is amazing. They offer anything you can possibly want to want and give service with a smile. I go for Sunday brunch and will continue to indulge. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED place to eat, but you MUST have a reservation or you may be turned away.
Even though they advertise brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, if there is a private party on Saturday they won't serve brunch. Which is fine if they would let people know. Was looking forward to breakfast but ended up having lunch. The food was good so I may go back for brunch, but will call first.
Went to celebrate a wedding anniversary and we arrived early enough to have brunch. The food was very good and many selections to choose from. Waiters were constantly filling up the glasses with Mimosa, Bellini, etc. Price was very reasonable. Everyone there is very friendly.
900 Park surpassed my expectations by far. The ambiance, food, and service was very good. I would definitely go back again. I tend to go to Manhattan restaurants for dinner, but now that I know about this restaurant, I'll be staying in the Bronx more often.
It was so disorganized and hot we left after waiting 40 minutes. It was horrible! It was more than 80 degrees outside and you're going to tell me there's no ac? My infant was sweating and so uncomfortable. If I would have known I would have made reservations elsewhere and not have Mother's Day plans ruined. We never be returning
We were thrilled that 900 Park could accommodate 10 people for brunch and more importantly we had a wonderful array of foods satisfying all palates. Even better, we could were able to walk home from the restaurant. It's wonderful to have such a diamond in our area. The omelettes were the crowd favorite along with the spanish dishes. Our service was great and we never had to ask for anything. Will be returning soon.
