   My friend and I went for lunch on a Monday to celebrate our birthdays. Our meal was delicious and Nick was an excellent waiter. The lunch specials are a value not to be beat! There filet medallions were perfectly prepared. Drinks were top notch. Def recommend

   Flirtini was not made properly the first time, it was pretty much just pineapple juice. More experienced bartender remade it perfectly. Raw oysters were good, all our other food was terrible. The tacos tasted like burned pepper bombs, Mac and cheese bites were gelatinous with an unpleasant heat. Ambiance was good, though loud, and our server was very sweet. But the food was just awful.

   Celebrated a birthday dinner. Service was fabulous. Timing on sushi platter for dinner was late- after the rest of us finished. But unforeseen a large group seated before us order a very large sushi order. Server was in touch and apologetic. The server comped dessert because of the issue. It had been awhile since we dined at 86 West - looking forward to going back soon.

   The atmosphere was incredible. Love the open courtyard between the 2 areas and definitely want to come back when it’s warmer. Food was delicious and service was incredible. There was a very lively table nearby that made it hard to hear each other but the restaurant can’t really control that. Very lively atmosphere!

   Love the oysters and sashimi. Space was noisy. Maybe do some acoustic work? Too many hard surfaces (we were in the old Knights House). Service very good.

   Melt in your sashimi. Had brussel sprouts appetizer, huge portion for $10. Jules was a lovely server.

    This was our first visit here and had a great experience. Started with drinks at the bar, both female bartenders were friendly and attentive. Then we got a table in the back and I wish I remember the name of our waitress because she was AMAZING! I got sushi very fresh and delicious, my husband go the pork tacos also delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

    Always great food no matter what you order and a go to spot. Huge variety on the menu. Flirtini drink awesome. Select drinks for happy hour though (wish they didn’t change that). Best sushi. Potstickers, sliders and wings also amazing.

    The restaurant was over booked. We arrived at 6:45 for a 7:00 reservation. We were seated at 7:20. Our table was not in the original 86 West. We were taken outside through the rain and across the way to the State Street Steak and Seafood. We were a party of 3 at a table made for 2 people that was crammed in the corner. The room was very small with a low ceiling. There was a party of ~25 people right next to us. They were actually using our table for the jackets and purses. That we had to wait for them to move. The noise level was very high as you might expect from a big party. We couldn’t hear each speak. We ordered drinks but asked to be moved, since we felt like we were attending a private celebration and it was extremely loud. We were told that they had too many reservations and there were no other tables. The food and service was great. Sadly I would never go back there if I know that we weren’t going to be seated in 86 West. Sitting in SSS&S was an entirely different dining experience. It was awful and for the price, not worth it! The worst part was my daughter and I took my wife out for her birthday. Just a horrible experience and not what we had ever experienced at 86 West in many past evenings.

    Enjoyed our meal and night out at 85 West. Crowd was energetic after the lighting of the Doylestown Christmas Tree. Service was outstanding, Nick did a great job. Would definitely recommend dining and drinks here for an adult night out.

    We had reserved for a table if six for my family which included two young grandchildren. Unfortunately we were seated at a high top table in the bar area. It was very noisy and some of the bar patrons were excessively loud and at times were using vulgar expletives. We asked if we could be moved but we’re told that nothing was available. Experience was very different from our previous visit. Server was excellent as well as the food, but the ambiance was less than satisfactory.

    Food was fair, and it’s pretty hard to mess up a salad. Mac and cheese was pasta with melted cheese on top. Had to look for server twice during lunch time. Place wasn’t crowded so I can’t imagine what she would have been like in a busy house. Parking non-existent. Can you tell I wasn’t delighted?. Will happily stay in Philly to dine!

    If you like sushi, 86 West is great! There are also many other food options. The online reservation process is really easy and the staff is wonderful.

    We took friends here for dinner. We loved everything. The four was delicious and our server was really nice. We had a 5:15 reservation and left around 8:15. It was starting to fill up around 7:30 do the noise level was a little hire as the night went on but we were still able to hear each other fine. I highly recommend this restaurant. We can’t wait to go back on a warm night and sit outside the seating and bar outside looked fun too.

    I went for my birthday with my daughters. One of them is vegan. There was nothing on the menu for her to eat. The waitress was slammed with tables and didn’t want to ask the kitchen to make something special for her. My fish taco was so salty I could barely eat it. While waiting for our check our waitress walked my in a rush and punched my daughter in the head! What a miserable experience.
