Sushi will be a highlight with maki rolls featuring triple k.c., sakura roll, snow crab roll, fireworks salmon and crunchy lobster, with additional sashimi and nigiri. A great bar with many specialty drinks to please.
It was a special occasion for me and my daughter.....No kids, no hubby’s....just the 2 of us having time to talk.
Always good. Our server was great tonight.
I had soup and sushi. It all was great, and the wait staff was top notch.
Wow, what a great place. Sushi, wine, Seven Flavor Chicken. Yum!
Great service with explanations of dishes. Lots of choices. Great casual restaurant near the Roselle train station. No problem with “hot” personalization. Plenty of parking.
Walked in to an empty restaurant at lunchtime, and was met with a woman who didn’t seem thrilled to see me walk in. I probably would have turned around except a nice man came up and was welcoming. Server was fantastic, super helpful and nice. Food was okay, but my friend said it was more authentic than I may be used to, so it may have been me! I may try this again if I’m in the area on a weekday.
This was our first trip to 8000 miles. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was great. I really liked the outside patio.
Lacks customer service and the food was mediocre. Will be my one and only visit. They should smile when customers come in and make them feel welcome.
Have to turn down the entertainment music on the patio...literally our only complaint
Very nice! We split pad Thai, orange chicken and magnolia beef and it was very tasty. Very fast service and affordable too, it ended up to being about 12 dollars a person for dinner.
Our appetizer and entree were ok, but extremely over-salted. Our sushi was good. Service was very slow, it seemed like they only had one person working on the floor, which is odd for a Friday night. Overall disappointed with our meal.
Sushi was good and fresh! They got new seating that is cute. I got the spicy fish dish and it was authentic and had good flavor.
I’ve eaten at this place quite a few times now and I’ve noticed the past couple of times that I’ve eaten here the service seems to take longer each time. We were seated and it took about 15 mins before our server acknowledged us though he was nice and very polite. Our food took awhile to arrive even our appetizers. Im not sure if they were short staffed both in the serving area or in the kitchen.
The quality of care has declined....Dirty dishes, tables, etc. and the establishment was empty so no excuse.
We sat outside on a beautiful evening. The service is always very good. There were two of us. We ordered the Roselle city hall. All of the fish tasted fresh and it was enough for 3 people. Very good!
Food was good, but this place doesn’t really excite us. It was lunch time on a rainy Sunday and we were the only customers for a while. A couple more customers came near the end of our meal. The server was very friendly. We didn’t know that the lunch options are not served on Sundays; it was only the dinner option on Sundays. The dishes were large servings (because it was the dinner option) and so we ended up taking half of our dishes home and having them for another meal. All in all it was an ok experience.
Celebration for my grandsons music award.
We took my mom for Mother’s Day and when my brother was running late, they were super accommodating to push our reservation back for us! Food was great and quick which I greatly appreciated having a young child with us! The manager was friendly and stopped by to check on us as well. Our server was great, sorry I wish I could remember her name! Can’t wait to come back again! So many tasty looking dishes to try!
Food was great service was great be there early parking is hard
We were very pleased with our dining experience. There were four of us. Everyone loved their meal .
Had a 1st date at this location. Had a great server who made my date and I feel welcome. Food was beyond delicious. Will come back for more
Really great food and reasonably priced for the uniqueness.
Very good. Will go back. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Many different choices for everyone.
We went on a Friday to have seafood. First timer here. Parking was a challenge for a 6:30 reservation. I felt like the place was short staffed. We didn’t get water right away. Food was mediocre. Service was mediocre. Ambiance was great, the space was nice but I think they were lacking in quality of food and service. Place has potential and noticed they had a couple of private dinner areas for small parties. I would come back for a second try but place does not get me excited.
We felt welcome from the moment we walked in. We love the decor. We love the food and our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
I have always loved going to this restaurant and it never fails to amaze me. I recommend highly everything on the menu.
My family and I went to this place as first timers. I wanted to order sushi but decided against it since there wasn’t a sushi bar and was prepared in the kitchen. Ended up ordering stir fry chicken chili. It was batter fried which was not I was expecting and chewy (perhaps chicken wasn’t deskinned). My wife ordered tofu noodles. Seems like tofu was fried and it was chewy as well The service was great but food could use a little touch. I may give it one more try in all fairness.
Always exceptional but the temperature in restaurant was so warm it was hard to enjoy dinner.
This is the best Asian food in the area. Quality ingredients and quality service.
This was my second time eating here. The service was spotty the first time and just plain bad the second time. Food was less than mediocre. Ordered pad Thai and it came covered with gigantic stems of cilantro. And I mean stems! A few leaves and mostly stems. We had to ask for things several times...like more water or hot peppers. Too many good places to have dinner with friends to waste time and money here again! People around us waited over an hour for their meals. I won't be back.
Great service and excellent food! Ariel is a perfect waiter.
This place was a terrible experience from beginning to end. Service took forever, we had reservations for 7, but we didn't leave until 9:15. Maybe they were short on servers that night, but it took at least 15 minutes for our server to stop by to put in drink orders. When he finally got our food order he did not write any of it down and of course forgot to put in my appetizer order. He didn't realize it until the main meal came, and I asked him where my appetizer was. The sushi I ordered wasn't anything special, just like any other generic sushi you can buy at the store. When our checks came, the server didn't give us the half price off bottles of wine special for the night and had to go back to redo, extending our night even further. The only good about the experience was their plum wine, which was excellent, and the server taking the late appetizer off the bill. I do not plan on going back, there are much better Asian restaurants in the area.
We had a great birthday dinner
Best lo mein!
We always enjoy 8000 miles and are never disappointed. Very good sushi and great Asian dishes.
Overall, it was good food at a reasonable price. However, service was extremely slow and it wasn't even crowded. I would worry if place was packed and I had to get somewhere.
We have been a couple of times both for lunch and for dinner. Food and service were great, prices are reasonable. Quickly becoming one of our favorite restaurants.
Our waitress was amazing. She was always checking on our drinks and if we needed anything. The food was fresh and great. The crab rangoon and calamari for an appetizer is a must!
Casual atmosphere and good food. The menu has a nice selection of Asian foods and the drink menu was fun, too. We’all definitely be back.
The food is always good. But tonight the sashimi was exceptional. Also had a couple of their signature dishes, the flavors all jelled well together. Our server was Ariel, he was awesome.
