7th Street Social
Our food was great and our server was extremely nice.
Wine very good fish special ok
Very welcoming for families
Our experience there was wonderful. What made the experience wonderful was our server. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name. However, he was very courteous while we kept him busy with app and drink orders as our group sporadically arrived. He was very pleasant to deal with us both professionally and personally. The apps and drinks were also very good and they all arrived to our table in record time. We really enjoyed our experience there and will definitely be back.
Love 7th Street Social. Friendly waitstaff, great menu well executed.
Cold soggy fish and chips.
Server was nice but service was exceedingly slow for a night when they were not busy. Food was ok, however pork burger seemed under cooked. We wondered if they rushed it because after 45 minutes we asked about our food. Poutin was good.
Would have been a five star all around but we had to sit at a table by the door... brrr! Will definitely be back though!
Also a great location if you're coming or going from MSP airport.
Outstanding service and overall dining experience. This was my first time at the establishment but I will be back again!
Food was great, service was incredibly slow. Granted we were a group of 8, however we were the only diners in the entire back room.
The food was not good at all! The saving grace was the cheap happy hour drinks and the great service.
We went for trivia night. It was fun and the food was good.
We’ve been to 7th Street Social several times as a family and have always enjoyed it. Service can be slow but it’s a pretty consistent place.
Pretty average everything here. Looks like they have plenty of space for groups. Our host was not ffriendl, but waitress was great. Limited tap beer selection.
The food was pretty good - as were the prices. The design of the dining room was comfortable and cute but dead silent. You could hear what everyone else was saying. They could use music to liven it up and provide more privacy. The bar area was too bright, while the dining room was a bit too dark (sleepy almost). There was only one server it seemed so service was on the slow side. For a Saturday night, it wasn't busy and we didn't need a reservation.
It was ok. It didn't feel welcoming. The beet salad was not good, it was lacking flavor and it wasn't fresh. The buttermilk fried chicken burgers with buffalo sauce were ok. They brought 1 instead of 2.
We wanted to share the fries but they thought we wanted to share the burger. Mistakes happen and it's ok.
They brought the second burger later and a second plate of fries that we didn't order and that they charged us for it. I didn't say anything as it costs only $2. They seemed annoyed with us. Don't know why.
It's a cute place but I wouldn't go again.
We needed a really good meal without a wait before a concert. The Hot Mess is the best burger I’ve had. I am a little fussy about my cocktail and they did it perfect. It was not busy at the time.
The place can use adding some ambiance. It felt cold and the service was slow. Server was friendly . The food was better than expected.
Perfect place to stop before catching a flight at MSP. Great burgers and variety of beers. Will definitely return.
Very good food. Just a couple minor opinions kept it from outstanding. Jambalaya had good flavor and nice crunchy veggies and jumbo shrimp. Just not as much rice or spice as I would like. I did add some hot sauce to taste. Will go back again. Excellent presentation of that and street corn.
Located in our neighborhood, wanted to try someplace close. Easy to get to, not crowded, so it was a relaxing meal. Comfort food at a good price.
Very friendly service. Good food. Good atmosphere. Nice patio.
Had tickets for Circus Juventas and wanted to eat close by, and happy we did. Friendly staff greeted us with a smile and seated us promptly, and the cheese curd burger topped with bacon was very good and so were the fries!
Had not been here before. Food was Good with a nice selection and the service was up to the task. My one issue was that overall, the place from the bathrooms to the dining area was simply not very clean. In fact, kind of grubby. There was way too much debris on the floors, as if they had not been swept up in days, the tabletops were sticky and the mens bathroom had an area on the wall that looked as if some fixture had been torn off the wall and the holes were not patched. Yuck. Sorry, because of this, I would not be interested in returning.
Average. Waitstaff was personable. Took forever to receive food.
Sat out on deck. nice enough.
Chairs were too low. Tables were uneven on the surface so drinks got spilled.
Food (grilled sandwiches) were mushy.
Out of most of the tap beers on that Monday night....
Surprisingly good. New to me. Uncrowded on a weekend night.
It's the place to socialize, eat and listen to music. The Social is a great place to go with friends when you want to wind down and have an extra fun time.
Great food. Great Patio
My husband’s meal was very good. I ordered the chicken and it tasted like it was spoiled. I asked our server quietly if there was a chance it was left out and she said no. She did offer a sauce to put over it but that would not have help. She gave us a discount but I did not eat it for fear of getting sick.
Best ever shrimp tacos and perfectly prepared duck...
Great menu and food is as good to taste as it is to read on the menu.
Friendly and helpful service
Decent ambience with friendly and attentive service. Food was modestly good. Sat out on patio on a nice day. The rest of what I say is personal preference--I would return for the casual environment but not necessarily for the food. Also, patio is nice but somewhat busy street on two sides and two parking lots on two sides as well. Pretty good experience.
Service was very slow and bad. Deck was charming but right on 7th street so noisy. Food is fine. Fine place to stop for a drink but they need to up the game on seervice.
Hamburger was good basic preparation. Not very crowded but seemed to be only one waiter who was quite busy. Never the less he was very friendly and helpful when able to get to us. Good experience not outstanding.
Went for mother’s day buffet and food was pretty lackluster.
Food was excellent, lots of solid options and everyone enjoyed, including the kids! Great patio, good cocktails, and super friendly and fast service... we’ll be back for sure!
This is for Mother's Day brunch buffet specifically, though I've been once before and it was ok but not great.
They had a sign out front that said $10 bottomless mimosas which got our entire group excited, only to be told when we ordered that they weren't doing that for the day. The awkward part was that our server took our order for bottomless mimosas and then another server overheard and said they weren't doing that as she walked by. Except for my mom, we all just had water then so they missed out on some $ from us by not doing that - and by not taking their sign down. I had seen, however, that their menu listed for the buffet on OpenTable mentioned moms got a free mimosa. When I mentioned this to the server she ignored it, so I brought it up to her as I was going to buffet and she said they "could do that" but it took forever to get it.
The food itself was alright, nothing to write home about but then what buffet ever is, real]y. It was a decent assortment. The one actual disappointment was the completely flavorless gravy for the biscuits and gravy. Desserts weren't as good as I'd hoped, except for one cheesecake bite.
Overall, an ok experience but I wouldn't seek it out again.
My friends and I met here for dinner when one of our out of town friends came back to visit. We all really enjoyed it. The service was excellent, the noise level was good, drinks were good, and the food was good. I wouldn't say we liked everything we ordered, but most orders were delicious. We ordered the fried corn (elote) and that didn't go over so well, but tacos, hamburgers, fish and chips were great. I've eaten here before and I'm always satisfied. I think this restaurant is cool, but not too trendy. I feel like it's a nice fit between a nice chain restaurant and a very fancy/expensive restaurant. I will be back.
What made the experience so wonderful was our server, Fiona. She was so charismatic and very funny.
